A long story

Catalyst*
Good to be one in the chemical world !!
But the real world ~ make believe
It takes more than to be a
catalyst !!
Change is inevitable ,
why resist!!
Catalyst in the chemical world accelerates the chemical reaction, but it keeps its chemical properties intact.
Whereas in the real world we become catalysts to some people and some people can be to us , so change is inevitable to all , so why resist.
As far as it is positive, it should happen 'change'
Posting this again , had deleted it earlier.
Can't see new poems on the homepage .
???
The sounds in the mind confined
Aberrations
Attuned
Silent musings
Words do all the writing
Baby clouds cuddle up
Blue sky greets beauteous lake
Celestial  mirror

Brilliance of liquid gold
Speckled with glitter and stars
Arresting the celestial plafond
A touch of Neanderthal aesthetics
Modern and ancient air
Fusing under the beauteous sky
Velvety sunshine
Fields of golden marigolds
Chasing cirrus clouds

When matter is Immiscible
Words cannot be the binding agent

When matter is immiscible
Words can be the cohesive agent

When matter is immiscible
Words add fuel to the fire

When matter is immiscible
Words have the power , wield wise

When matter is immiscible
Words can confuse , less is more

When matter is immiscible
Words can go on endlessly FULLSTOP
Read at your own risk :)
Cherry blossoms bloom
On the magnificent trees
Bend over the pink picket fence

Reflection of the sun
In the glassy forest lake
Glints with a silver sheen

The sun is hazy, and the sky sometimes
Turns to a shade of cherry pink
A lovely cheer it brings

Misty roads, lead to old town stores
Prepping up indoors
for the tourists soon at their door

Mid-November
Ushers in the festival
Cherry blossom pink
Inspired by a Facebook post
Cherry blossoms festival held in Shillong,, Meghalaya
In the month of November
Childhood
The best days in life ..
Learning is an integral part .
Making memories with loved ones around with comfort and love .

Childhood Days ....
Most cherished and longed for in
Adult life :)

Love never evades a child .
Innocence is what
It's born with .
The soul is pure and it's filled with
What it recieves .

Each child is entitled to love warmth and good upbringing!!
Childhood, got this word on the eighth page of my older  son , Amitabh 's Grammar workbook. :)
Children
Inquisitive and Ingenuous

Nimble yet gullible

Blessings and catalysts

In their parents' life

Children
As pure as gold

Can be cast in the most beautiful of the Moulds
Wrote it for my sons  Amitabh and Anshul

Today (26/08) is my older son Amitabh's 13th birthday.
I choose to repost this poem, published earlier in December 2016.
Chocolates have tasted many
Dark bitter white
Candied and sweet
Local
And from different parts of the
World
Loved them all ,when I ate them
Yet
One, I love the most
Is Cadbury’s Dairy Milk

Unwrapping the purple-golden wrapper
The aroma sweet
Melts in the mouth always a lovely treat
Sweet memories of childhood it brings many
Of sharing the love and care

Sharing this link to an old Cadbury’s ad from 90’s
Negativity is a bane
Don’t feed it your pain
It will grow manifold
And leave not a trace
******* you into its vile vines

The goodness in you, a boon
Revitalise the seeds
Nurture well, and see them flourish
To be cherished on a sunny day
Or a chilly winter’s night
Just some thoughts
Chony and Mony
Butterflies, yellow and blue
Loved flowers in hues

Of the two brothers
Chony, naughty and witty
Mony, naive with innocent charm

Living every moment
Flitting and sipping
Listening to the garden song

Changing colours
A chameleon in wait
The brothers knew its taste

As it rested its colour to blue
Chony knew it right away
Momma had taught to flit past that hue

Held Mony by it’s wing
Mony knew it was a danger sign
Opposite direction, was the call

The hungry chameleon
Rolled its eyes, surmised
Time to call it a day

To all my friends

We have known each other since age five
Together in the school, till we left at age fifteen, after class 10th

In my mind and heart, I still hold you all the same, irrespective of the fact that most of us are parents to fifteen year olds

All these years gone by, I remembered so many of you, not knowing where you would be, until we had our get together in December 2015

Happy to see you all and glad that we have been going strong in all these years, supporting, encouraging and trying to reach out when needed and meeting as and when possible

May it be the same in the coming years
Our class of 1991, together, here we belong
Bonding strong
Special thanks to Nirali, Raj and Ruhi for sharing  those motivational quotes and  Good morning messages :)

With none to blame
And no reason to claim
The anger was thrown off the cliff
A soothing calm
Melting down the pain
The gentle breeze
And its silent presence
Finally felt
Open your heart to some people
         - The arteries go choke-a-block
Open your heart to some others
                - Surgery they perform
                  - Bypass or stent
                    -The stunt
  Choice is all yours
All good,  just some thoughts in words :)

The clouds of imagination sailed past
The images and imagery created didn’t last
The rains took their breath away in a splash
All that remained was clay and some wet hay
Incomplete, yet replete
Inspired by a picture of clouds
Dreamy clouds spread out wide
Whispers of white
Rumours had no place
Not a lie
On a crisp blue sky

Orange huts
Fresh coat of paint
The colour that held the conical shaped
wooden frames
Lined by coconut and palms
The coastal land
Rainforest canopy
Tropical island
The bricks in white
Struck slant in the ground
Forming rows
On the pathway
At leisure rode
The valiant horse
Late evening when the tides came in
The sea swelled with the golden moon
Inspired by a photo
Trust may corrode or rust
Coat it with infinite faith

Frost on the flowers
Petals huddle together
Seek warmth from the sun
Inspired by a photo
Every thought
A puddle that clouds your mind
To roll in like a playful child
Sometimes long enough
You mull
To be shrouded by
Sooner or later you dust it off
And lay it down
To be puddled by new
Growths of green
Colour of a faded lime
Not long enough
A forest never enough
There is winters and summers
Seasons of all
There is always, spring
To fall upon
Is it just a hue
Or
Is the mountain actually blue

The sea and the lake too
Is imbued by the sky’s blue

I love the colour too
Yes it has to be teal and aqua blue

Yellow is so bright and right
Inspired by the sunlight

Red speaks of passion and rage
Sure, I am no sage

Colours bright, dark or light
In every hue, have a place of their own
Got to love them all
Inspired by a photo of a mountain in blue hues :)
Colours in nursery
Saplings in the nursery
And nursery rhymes

Pink satin ribbons and bow clips
Innocence braided
In plaits

The paper pared
To be paired with white
Origami tiles

Seven and three makes ten
You must learn
To count

Sweet raisin
Crazy crispy nuts
Bursting with energy
Come alive
Ten words  thoughts
Listening to Music
I don’t like making and attending calls
Love my folks from the  depths of my heart
I don’t like to chat, typing makes me go mad
I prefer making a call

Contrasting feelings
Not trying to run away

Just can’t handle calls
Speakers are good
Nothing to my ears

But communication is the key
Sometimes folks do understand
S P A C E
Wrote this a few months ago, but now makes me think, still don’t like calls, but have been making them to check on loved ones!
Red is the colour of blood and passion
Raw enchanting, ruthless, cuts and colours deep

Simple interests
Complex values, evaluation
Desired profits
Loss of interests
Principal principles lost

Many colours in life
Not all chosen by you
Some you dabble with
Give you permanent stains and crimson tears
Behind the crimson tears’ - by Avisek Prasad

The above piece is inspired by this book, the author is known to me :)
Anxiety and fears, components
of a complex compound
Many elements of emotions mixed
Atomic mass fixed
Unbalanced emotions
Dilutes every element of the equation
Catalyst elements of happy quotient
Higher atomic efficiency
To balance the equation
The strength of the compound
Equilibrium
All chemicals, sometimes need a fix
Just a complex thought
To know
Is to believe
What’s understood

That
What’s known
Not understood
Does one Believe....
Simple interests
Complex values
Evaluating
Desired profits
Loss of interests
Principal principles lost
Deciduous trees stand side by side
Branches entwined
A crow couple, cozied up on a high branch
And the sun shone upon the two
The morning light, a beautiful sight
Below I stood, watching the two
As the brown leaves fell like confetti
Smiling in hues
A great start to my day :)
Have always loved those trees, close to a grocery which i frequent :)
And today the crows and the morning sun added to the beauty:)
Little white bird inscribed in a blue sky
Daily tweets

White circle inscribed in a square, instant frames, magenta stories

White’n blue, face in a book
What’s on your mind

Pure black ink, on a white page
Thoughts and words
Everybody loves a story

Fears in the face of reality
Hope is real, so is the crisis, duality

Most of the times
Can’t be inspired by the same thing twice
Ought to be limitless, like nature priceless

Brilliance of the lights
Since it’s origin, inception
Continues to shine, continuity

You are enough
Enough of you
Are you sure
Obscure
She kept others busy
By speaking nineteen to the dozen
Doing nothing

At her every beck and call
Utilising their time
Wasting all

It took years of understanding
Productivity and efforts, work
Value of time, of all
Sorry if this sounds negative
Just some observations in words
Trust

Without Any Doubt

If ....
Deceived

Quit

Without Any Doubt
Put in complete trust , if deceived, walk out on your way to  freedom  :)
The river takes its course
Following bends and curves
Carrying  loads
And silt
Not , all beautiful pebbles
Rolled over the river bed
The river moves on
Always serene and pristine
Not all days in life as proposed
The river moves on and so does life
Just something
A molecule of water
Formless
Never alone
Different atoms
Sharing is strength
Creating covalent bonds
A Plagiarist In Inheritance
Originalist, In The wealth of Progeny.
True blue buttery wings
A lone butterfly passes by
The creeping oxeye

Yellow petals, fluttering flowers
On a bed of velvety grass

Each unique, smiley upright
Gracefully grow by the sidewalk
Scattered apart, like speckled stars

The crescent today
Smiles feeble in the dark sky
Yet radiates from within
The light it holds dear

🌙
18th January, the crescent moon
Crests and troughs
Life a sinusoidal wave
It’s the matter that matters
On a particle wave
Energy ever changing forms
Matter of time and place
Words of confusion
Clearly stood
In the path of understanding

Cold mists and paper clips
A minuscule vapour cloud
Covers a story, neatly filed

Streams had dreams
The river knew of
Gently flowed into the bay

Warm water springs
The freezing cold lake
Shares the revelry

A beauty to behold
Damp air and Crystals of salt
Into the pan, white

The mind tree
Thrives on the seed of thought
Inundated or sprinkled
Rightly so
Cultivating
Leaving no arid land

Assignments to do
Says ‘The Moodle’
I navigate through Zoom
And doodle my dreams
On the screen

Classroom to classroom
The dashboard croons
A melody incomprehensible
Moodle knows the notes

Meet on the wisdom page
Says ‘The Sage’
Surrender to knowledge
At your wanting door

It lay in drafts, set it free…

Leafless tree
Boughs and twigs
Folded in Namaste

Alive and green
The tree trunk young
Slightly bent

Part of a canopy
Of the tree lined road
It rests awhile

Seasons change
Some along with the weather
Cycle of change replete
Todays bought off tomorrow’s shelf
Overburdened Yesterdays
Bear the brunt
