My thoughts and feelings are getting used to the idea of having you,
Stand before me dressed  in rhythm and sound

they set the limits
I break them

How will the memories fade when sunrise and sunset always remind me of you



If only l could sleep forever

l act like l don't care



but inside I'm screaming

From learning hues that painted their joy to cradling their vulnerabilities, I hesitate to unfold my chapters to anyone new.
Nevermind knowing someone else, how do l open up to another person
To know me exactly how you did, without me sayin' a word
"Move on," they say, yet moving on means exposing the very part of me that being with you taught me l should shield from the rest of the world
So, where do I begin
I don't want another hi that will lead to a goodbye

I'm a poet at night
When the world is quiet
My thoughts make the loudest noise

Only a dog goes back to its *****
Think twice and stop being used

I will never love anyone else
The way l loved you

It broke me

Now and forever, always ringing in my head
Could be a story to tell
Imaginations reaching far from reality
A fuel to my everyday life,
the company in my head  keeps me sane

Now and forever, could have been different
If only l had known now is the forever l wanted
But...l didn't loose it all, a part of it is within
Laughter and joy, never a sad moment,
The only tears dropped are the ones that build happiness and create memories,
Memories l hope we could both remember

Now and forever, l picture it every day
A fantasy too good to be true?
I dream with my eyes open so reality can never bring be back to brokenness
Look and become, they say

I mastered it

" so you don't love him anymore, all the feelings faded ? "

No l looked at him and realised they  changed

Because it felt more peaceful than sad

When l said you were a dream
I knew l would wake up
That's why you aint here anymore

I never asked you to leave
Only advised to chase your dreams

Roses have thorns,
Even the beautiful things can s hurt you

he told me he was hurting
yet I'm the one with the scars


he said he was bleeding
but I'm the one with the wounds

how will l heal when my wounds  bleed every time l see you
whenever you hurt l find myself in pain
if only tears could dry

there could never be space or time or another you



embrace your flaws and find beauty in peoples differences

We all thought it was passion,
Because in his presence l could feel his devotion.
It's like when l was with him l lost concentration,
And l became so sure that he was mine.
Little did l realise that it was just an infatuation.

I thought he was my prince charming
Yet he left me hanging
I didn't realise when l drowned in his love the same way l didn't notice his feelings were drastically fading.
He left me crying as he continued running.

When l was with him l was truly living life
But now I'm just surviving.
I miss his singing as well as his drawing .
At times l feel like his around me yet l'll be just hallucinating.
Still l don't picture myself healing.

Through his love l lost my reputation.
I thought l could see his love through his expression
Since his actions were full of connotations.
And his love came with destruction
Yet this happened without realisation
Now my life is full of humiliation
Since what I'm left with now is lamentation.

I listen to your actions

If silence could speak
The world wouldn't be such a lonely place

When words fail
Silence does the talking
But l guess mine ain't loud enough

Why cant we all be like stars
They shine despite the darkness
That surrounds them

My love for you is like counting the stars
It gets tiring but still beutiful to look at

Only one thing is left
A story to tell

I wont lie and say cant live without you
But what's the purpose of life with no inspiration

Aware of life's beauty, I find my way,
Surrounded by wonders, I'm happy each day.
In nature's embrace and with each smile's glow,
Happiness blossoms, with every step I go.

I remember, all the beautiful moments of us together, l had them with my eyes closed

Heavy heart
Eyes filled with tears
Thoughts swimming in the uncertainty of tomorrow

The fear of loosing
The pain of befriending loneliness again
The Feeling of being neglected
Are slowly drowning me

Dont want to break another heart
My silence already broke mine
It cried in silent tears
Pleading to be freed from the heavy burdens of the unspoken words

"But he caught my tongue by the neck and left me speechless"

"I will hold you till the end of eternity"


The few words she valued but caused her grief
She failed to understand eternity  for him  was just a short time

She believed in a happily ever after
But later realised it existed only beyond imagination

She fell too hard till sorrow became the song
Loneliness the chorus

And now she is long gone with betayed love

I find pleasure in comments
Good or bad
So they defined me as abnormal

It's only when you alone when you realise silence makes the loudest noise
All the voices in your head won't stop calling

It's so hard fighting for things that dont wanna be fought for
It's like fighting an invisible battle

So today someone made me smile, even laughed
Today l set for coffee, lunch and dinner
And never for a moment did l look for you in anyone
Today l did everything l wished to do with you, even more
And no thought of you crossed my mind
Today everything that once reminded me of you
Didn't bring any memory
Today for the first time in a long while l didn't look forward to your text
Today your absence felt normal
And it didn't make me cry
Today l don't miss you as much as l used to
So Today l realise maybe l am slowly forgetting you
It's what I wanted but why does it still make me sad
