We nvr deserved, but still got
They say its luck, we call it favour
Fate brought u to us
But time was too jealous
Like a passing  wind , u came n made our lives beautiful, with some fresh new air

We'll see you in a distance
But feel your presence forever
Some things break our hearts to make us whole
Although we cry that it has all ended, we thank God that it happened
Tears will dry but memories will last forever
Will keep you in our hearts like a delicate promise we shall not break
Just hoping this world is small enough 4 us to meet again

Somewhere in between he is not her type and they are just friends
She fell in love

When I'm tired
You are all the rest l need

Every time l try to forget,
I remember everything could be better with you

They asked if we still talk
I told them we not strangers

Always the person you look for or call at the end of the day
Am l safe haven
Or a last thought

I feel like writing
But can't put the feelings to words

Once l loved you, you hurt me
Twice l forgave you and myself for expecting so much
Thrice l only asked for your presence, you gave me hope and crushed it

Until l learnt where l stand in your life
Your heart was with everything else except me

roses have thorns,
even  beautiful things can still hurt you

If a broken heart still beats
It can still love

I didn't leave
You pushed me away

My ink doesn't bleed your name anymore
When l try to remember
It stops, maybe there are no more words left to say

I was chasing the game
When l was meant to be playing

I fell so hard , so hard
That my heart broke
The feeling faded
The pain ended

No guts no glory
No risk of failure ,no fun
Enjoy the game while it last
And take the challenge

she gave him a smile that knocked down common sense to his knees
Want whispering like silk through through his mind
"Everyday shall be valentines" he assured her

You can only go as far as you can see
Dream big and go far

I'm not a dreamer
But a seer of my future reality

You shoot hurtful words and expect me to  smile

My emotions are not bulletproof

l talk you just reply,I wait, it's true,
like a chase we play, me and you.
Hearts can only bear so much weight,
Someday, I'll tire of this endless wait.

I can't expain where it hurts
I can only feel my heart thundering trying to escape
As l become weak and spend hours sleeping trying to get it in place


Could this be just sadness

I want to text you, and talk about nothing or little details of my day,
Maybe you can tell me what made you smile today
But l don't want to disturb you
So I'm writing this instead

Once upon a time your words meant everything that held on to them,
Until l saw every promise pass by.
Now, l yearn to believe each word you speak.....
But it all sounds like a poem that caught the right muse.

Sorrow is my name
Poverty is also my name
So is pain and loneliness
Who really am l ???


How did l get here? Who put me into this world?
Do l have parents, relatives or background
Am l even human without an identity
Who really am l ?

I roam around the streets day and night
Bare footed sometimes with torn stockings stitched together
And heavily oiled legs
Hoping to find myself
Who am I??

Eating food from the trash
Was and is always my daily meal
I get arms from people daily
All of them calling me with the same words
ILLITERATE SON OF THE STREETS
Yet I don't know what they are saying
My question still stand
Who am I ??

The street kid is all l hear
Now I guess lm the one born to suffer
Born to be in pain
The unwanted one
Born and mothered by the streets

As long as I remember it's always been the streets and l
This is real, this is me
So here l am the illiterate son of the streets
I'm the **STREET KID

I write because how else would you read my mind

Your words are seeds
Speak today
See it into existence tomorrow

Some wounds may never heal
All they can do is stop bleeding
But the pain will never ease

Some wounds dont heal, they just stop bleeding!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
