Take a stroll with me-
   It's anything but dreary.
The songs of sweetness in the sky
    Are frequent and quite merry.

The Summer's kiss is abundant,
     The leaves whisper to the trees.
Strolling silently I listen-
     To the melodies around me.

I must admit, my only desire'd be-
For someone to stroll with,
      alongside by me.

A part of me knows love
Can't be stopped
Because it's a riddle
That only the heart understands
In time; yet,

A part of me knows love
Isn't meant to last
Because something forced
Only then falls apart
Just as fast...

there's always going to be a reason
     you come running back around.
unleash me, i bequeath thee--
    there is no second time now.

     only long ago, hope.

there was only one reason we met,
    simply; wrong love lore.

Love is a transcending force–beyond this world's bounds it creeps through the crevices of your soul, staining your heart forever.

Love can give you more than you could fathom: joy, happiness, fulfillment. Yet what is so beautifully extraordinary about love, is that it is also capable of the worst kind of soul ripping sorrow unlike any other.

To love, is to make a promise to another, and yourself, to always acknowledge within you to respect the capability of it's power.

It is not something that can be discarded, or forgotten, which is why losing love is a reminder of a reality you never thought possible, or imagined...it is greater, a fleeting reality as sublime as dreams.

Once you start to miss me,

I wanted many a time to tell you,
But in good conscience
I knew it was just I.

The joys and pains are one in the same.
When all you've ever wanted,
is something you've never gained.

Until the day, they land on me.

I walked along a sturdy path I knew would serve me well.
But the little girl thought differently, only time would tell.
She took some leaps and fell down hard, wishing for some help.
Yet her secret desire, was to acquire what she had lost in the hand she  was dealt.
The young girl believed she had to persist.
And in the end, she was happy again (a twist).
But happy to her was far below what she desired.
Because the little girl wandered off the path that would guide her.

My room smells of white sage, I burnt earlier to-day.

The window chimes are chime-chiming away.

The rain pelts upon the panes of the glass.

And cars drive by, some slow, some fast.

The black light is dim, for only me to see.

I read dusty novels, and bless-ed  poetry.

I'm finally at peace, after a tiresome day.

I'm not solemn, nor joyous, just content as I lay.

I can still remember the way my name rolls off your lips like a sweet songbird in the morning.
I can still hear the way you call for me across the house, repeating, just once.
I can still feel the cool cool breeze that engulfed your bedroom, while we slept close, but apart.
I can remember leaving, in a rush, as to not miss my plans I made, without you.

I can't remember your smell, on all the clothes I used to have, and on my body after we made love all day.
I can't remember what you last said to me as I left down the empty, shaded stairwell.
I can't remember the last kiss we shared--it wasn't special, but it was the last.
I can't remember when I lost you, both seeing the same world, apart.

If I could, I would probably try to forget anyway.

Drink up my words
      that fall from my mouth,
              and into your soul.

Melt my spirit with kisses
       that come from your heart
              and mend what's lost.

Place my heart on a shelf
       that only you can reach
              and only you can keep.

Touch my scars with sweetness
        that diminish my hurt
              and make me whole, once again.

Remember the love from sorrow
        that blossoms and shines
              and makes me realize,
                     how lucky you're mine.

the best day of my summer
was of course, spent with you.
yet all we did that day,
was nothing new.

we went to lunch
at the end of the pier,
surrounded by ocean
Catalina was clear.

you took something from me that day
without your knowledge.
i did the same to you-
we needn't acknowledge.

since that day on the sea,
i've not been the same.
i gave you my heart,
and you gave me your key.

I thought you were an honest man—
I thought wrong.

Our love
Like a dying star
Burned brightly for too long
Until it slipped away
Into the abyss
Of eternity

To fully love

Or measure your worth
By another's opinions.

You cannot doubt
Or be unrealistic
About the time you have together.

You must acknowdge
Love is a transfer of two energies
Forever traveling in time,
Until the sparks cross paths again.

I fell in love with the way you smiled,
   eyes half opened, before the day had time to jade it.

The beauty you seep, it comes from the
Cracks and Crevices of the wandering soul within.

You know this to be true.

The Earth or the Sky
of the Love you expose--
through the Cracks and the Holes.

To breathe we need perfume
To function we o.d. on coffee
To love we use "ILY"

That we can't change it at all
For the reality we are living in
Is a house with cyber walls.

I am frightened by so few things in my life, but why love?

Why is the thought of connecting with someone so repulsing to me?

Is it an an innate desire to be alone? No.

It is the thought that I will lose,
what will eventually make me whole.

The hot, wet, tears fall down my face.
At first they roll, then they race.
It's not my eyes that cry and ache-
It's my inner soul, about to break.
The thought that it's over,
That my joy will perish,
And with it my hopes for what could be--is what I must take.

My tears will never stop falling.
This hole will never go away.
My love for you will **** me inside;
The same love I hoped would stay.

My dreams will always be of you.
My love will be steadfast.
I know I'm not alone on this.
I know our love will last.

I can no longer be with you, my dear;
This truly eats at my soul.
At once the love I have for you is clear,
It transcends this life and more—
