let's play 21 questions
your questions will go from
how old are you
to
are you still a ******
my questions will go from
what's your favorite color
to
what's the worst thing you've done

both wanting to already know
if what's barely beginning
to happen yet
will be worth it

memories of summer are getting hazy, but the one thing I’ll never forget is the memory of your arms around my waist, telling me how I was your one and only.

I will never pay Hellopoetry $5 to have a poem be on the front page next to poems that are trending. I can't think of a more horrid thing then selling premium placement on the sight. There is no longer credibility, nor integrity on Hellopoetry.com. I will be looking for a new forum for my work. I am disappointed Hellopoetry.com would do this. You don't have to have talent nor anything interesting to say. I am done.
They changed the name of the front page to "what's hot". What is hot about having to buy your way in? Absolutely nothing. No real substance. I have never wanted to not be a writer before, until I noticed all this light shedding horseshit. A sun icon! Hey! Hellopoetry.com, sunlight is free, you ******* morons. Take away the sun and put up a dollar sign.

Thing is,
I am a man of this modern world.
The people of this time are aware we have lost the ways of opulent formality and style.

Thing is,
We are confounded that because people expect us to simply be polite.
It is such an offense that we created a new term to redefine it: political correctness. We don't really worry about the correctness part, but we think a lot about the political part.

Thing is,
Politics and politeness are not synonymous.
Though we could be polite when discussing our politics, we rarely are.
It's no wonder, because we are deeply passionate about the rules that govern us.

Thing is,
We should forget about being politically correct. We should be, instead, politely correct. No matter where we stand, we can treat each other with a niceness that I hope is not irretrievably lost to our more formal past.

Thing is,
We lose a bit of our finess everytime we hold on to bitterness. Let go of fear. What do you have to lose?
I hope this poem speaks for itself. Please, let it do so. Do not buy, sell, trade or use to fundraise for this site or any other.

CTS
C is for carpal.
Sounds a bit like the word carpet.

T is for tunnel.
Those things that danger is usually in.

S is for syndrome.
Can also be used to describe a lot of things.

What do I do.
When's everything I do,
Everything I say,
May never seem the best in anyway,
I test my limits, learn my boundaries,
But never push to far,
I give comfort, respect, loyalty,
Anything you want, anything you need,
But why,
But why is it never good enough?
Almost seems that every day I seem to live the same thing,
A bunch of useless hours and days,
Only good part is that I get paid,
I can only wish that one day things will change,
I want to be happy again.
Something to look forward to at the end of the day, week, month, year.
Something to keep me going.
Just someone.
If not, every day just seems the same.

You
You walked into my life at the worst possible time
You made me feel wanted
We have been through hell together
Literally
You said I love you first
You are truly my dream guy
You want to meet my dad
No one ever has wanted to
Baby I love you
I truly do
I don't know what I would do without you
I'm the luckiest girl in the world

I fall onto
rocks,
Splatter, splatter,
I'm one big
mess,
Splatter, splatter,
I cry myself
dead,
Splatter, splatter,
I've lost my
smile,
Splatter, splatter,
I've lost my
hope,
Splatter, splatter,
I'm gone
now,
Splatter, splatter.

i will never understand you,
and you,
you will never try or attempt to
recognize my face.

People have a way of telling you to
look at the bright side,
but they are the same people,
who pushed you out in the first place.

thank you.
