When a leaf stops dancing to the music of life, and the melody of the birds has ceased, it changes to yellow and gently falls off the tree of life.

an inconsequential lyric
battles an annoyingly catchy tune
and I'm reminded of you
this was our song baby
three minutes of tortuous
heartbreak memory stew
this actually used to make me smile
before memories shelved
come tumbling down
like tomes from a bookcase
we built with our glue
that couldn't even keep us together
I was never honest with you baby
I only ever liked rock n' roll

Feeling good is:
Greeting a stranger with a smile,
Chatting with your elderly neighbor's,
And treating them with care and compassion.

Soothing another's pain,
Feeding hungry stomachs,
Standing with the oppressed,
Rendering service to others for no return.

Exploring a new idea,
Enriching your knowledge,
Reflecting and pondering,
Planting the seeds of positive change.

Listening to the whispers of love,
Inspiring the next generation,
Being around intelligent people,
Enjoying the company of soft-hearted friends.

Restoring people's shattered dreams,
Be their candle and their lifeboat,
Listening to the cries of innocent souls,
And showing them the way to a new dawn.

Lifting the spirit of the broken-hearted,
Delivering them through a helping hand,
Dressing your soul in a garment of giving.
Lifting your voice to be the champion of the forgotten.

Counting your blessings,
Reciting your prayers,
Contemplating the universe,
Listening to nature’s songs with muted words.

One day I sat alone drinking a pint,
My a mhuirnin arriving this mornin'
I said I'd greet her and then spend the day
Stroll'an' watch all the ships come to harbor

Her ship was due in from Dublin today,
She'd gone home for to bury her father,
And though she loved him she weren't feelin' grey,
He'd left her mom alone at the alter,

So there I sat, her ship taking its time,
A little red lark sung above me,
And then it landed, much to my surprise,
On my shoulder just ever so gently

I didn't move I just marveled in place,
The small clever lark sung on my shoulder,
And then from tweets to words slowly I heard
My dear love's voice come out of the small bird

My dear I don't have time
To ask how you are
God gave me but only a moment
To say I love you and don't waste your time
My ship won't ever make it to harbor.

I didnt know just quite what I should say
I was feeling a mix of emotions
I had no reason to doubt this small bird
But if so then my heart surely'd be broke,

My dear I can see you
Can't quite understand
I've died and I've gone on to heaven
In time you'll see
I've done all that I can
And have found yourself a new a mhuirnin

Then back to songs that bird's beak did return,
I couldn't help but shaking and bawling,
But as it flew off It left me a plume,
And I still keep that feather right on me.

In time I found love again,
Calling my name,
And boy did he say it so sweetly,
But every morning I still hear her song
My little red lark singing above me.
a mhuirnin - My dear love

This poem was written as lyrics to the Irish traditional song "Little Red Lark" from the perspective of an American-Irish person.

Got me down
No more love.
Hold me now
No more loss
Its your first
You are his last
You've be scared
Its so quick n fast'
I wrote you the songs
I wrote you the poems
I saw you in the dream.
Imagination I think.
There was someone I love
I invited her to the dream
She came and I was happy.
It was fun having you here.
All foreplay, oh yea
the moment I want a kiss,
I saw it was a lucid dream.
I took coke while going home
I was stuck in a threshold.
Now i almost lose hope
When she left, i tried.
When i left, she cried,
I'm awake now
Oh I lie down with my back,
my head rested on my hands.
my dreams were clearer
and easier to remember.

Headphones in eardrums blocking out life's sound
In rhythm to music I hear heartbeat pound
White cord visibly sways to then fro
Mouth silently each lyric I know
Do not speak and interrupt paradise
In comparison to world this reprieve is nice
Temporary peace found inside of me
Lose myself in the melody
Lose yourself in the music

Let's create song ....

let me play  sweetheart ...
sweet melody ...
at your *******' roses ...
to create there ...
a lovely songs ...
to sing it together ...
both ...
with a moan's fires ...
while our breathes ...
runs so fast ...
to contain ...
the deep of us ...
all our bodies ...
all the night ...
until we both ...
got crazily drunk ...
one from the other ...
until we lose power ...
to dive happily again ...
into our sweet dreams ...

hazem al ...

I’m slipping slowly down the drain. The night is dark
And the face in my reflection, doesn’t look at me the same.
Cold disdain; no recollection of the last time I heard my name,
Spoken with grace. My faith is misplaced.
Not even a narrow escape through these castle gates would find me saved.
Only open plains await; with pain pouring down like acid rain.
These fields,
Will never flower. Just rest my head on a feathered bed,
As the world drowns around and drags me down beneath its depths.
Sand and shells in this silent hell. Darkness rings her dinner bell,
As sunken souls grab their hold, stripping my youth.
Used, abused, weathered, and confused; they never taught me the rules
Of how to save you
From you.
Tell me your favorite song,
I will probably listen to it many times, even if I don't like it.
Just mention one by one,
I will make them my favorite playlist.
I've been listening to everything since the first time I met you.
Look,
here,
where I will play it all as a lullaby,
or a string of words that is now a magic and grows in my head.
I will make it a favorite song.
Just count it, I'll start it.
One.
Two.
Three.
I already like it.

And now your favorite song is mine.

Cause we are still young
And bitter words rolled off our tongues
No one will ever know
Because they’ve seen us high not low
But did you really have to go
A short line from a song me and my friend have written about pressing restart in a relationship or getting over someone who did u wrong
