Up and down,
Thats the way life turns,
Round and round,
Like a swirl of water in a bottle.
Like a bottle.
Like I bottle.
Bottle it all up deep inside.
Until the bottles burst,
Until the stress is pouring out of my ears,
Until my head is just full of glass shards
And shattered emotions.
And I'm just left frantically running,
Pacing,
Like a chicken missing its head.

And so I tell myself to pour it out,
At least till I can clean up,
Find some new bottles,
Feel some new things,
Before we start all over again,

Because the bottles will have fallen.
*Just in case you needed to hear this, don't bottle it up. Tell someone whats going on, its important to take care of yourself <3*

A bright star has fallen
Pain, and, anguish,
The world is in pain, and, anguish
Questions, questions, questions
But really these are non sequitur
Hearts weep and wail
But again, does nothing for the fallen

I stretched out my futile hands
I turned and groaned, I’m out of joint
I slammed myself against the wall.
I’m in pain. I’m in pain.
I cried but no tears no sound
Inextinguishable anguish gnawed me inside out

Can I pray? How do I pray?
Does it help, or I’m just helping myself?
Is he destroyed, irredeemably turned to the dark side?
And what if the answer is to trade places?
That the fallen may rise anew,
and given a second chance
Do I dare pray?

I cut off my wings,
and made my mama scream.
I already told you,
I'm your darkest dream.
The one that keeps you up at night,
making you terrified to close your eyes
even for a second.
Because in the one, small span
of a moment,
I will make all of your fears
surface their way from your soul,
and you will be left
wondering what
caused you to bleed.
The answer is simple;
Me.

Her voice was lamenting and sweet,
full of sugar and pomegranate seeds.
Her eyes were dark and bright like the night sky,
could've sworn I seen stars.
She was beautiful in all ways someone can be,
But, she had a soul so dark it smothered all light.
Despite that fact, I was still in love,
The devil was once God's favorite angel—She was the fallen angel from my heaven.

You pushed her so hard,
to fly as high as she could.
As high as the mountains,
as high as the stars.
You pushed her so hard,
though she can't,
till she fell and broke her wings.
Now, her broken wings
could never fly,
can't even reach the tree,
she always dreamt to be.

Forgotten leaf, rolling down the lane,
A story to tell, wind following its trail,
Twisted broken shattered but upright,
Fallen from grace, all we see is broken light.
