I sit
I wait
Watching the
Food on my plate
Willing myself
Not to eat

Temptation
takes a win
All I want
Is to be thin
But I can't control
These hunger pangs
Kathleen M Oct 2014
My world is filled with strangers.
People without last names.
Intense closeness and then nothing.
Passing through without a trace.
I don't mind but it all feels paper thin.
I want something solid to stand on.
L'Amour Noir Sep 2014
There's a really thin line between our bodies.
If you know it's real, then everything will be blank.
If you don't believe in that thin line, then everything becomes real.
Dance with me tonight, I'll show you how it was everything made.
Loneliness is a keyword to a broken heart.
If you are lonely, open it.
The more I take
In, the less
I
Become

Until
I am just
A pile of sickly,
Brittle bones on the ground

Gap
The spaces between their thighs
signified
the act of vomiting and starvation,
or just really good metabolism
a small appetite
genes
but
considering that their instagram
has no photos of food
but filled with selfies
of their thin legs donning patterns
maybe they have that problem.
But they are beautiful-
I suppose.
I draw them without clothes.
Confidence in a pose.
and I, with my curves,
wouldn't mind to appear like them,
sans *****.
So I eat
and I work.
And I stare in the mirror,
and see the tiniest space
right below my womanhood,
and muscles
closing in
I guess it's healthy,
just not thin.

so close yet so far
so thin yet so fat
so dark yet so bright
so wrong yet so right
so hot yet so warm
*so yours yet so mine

Champion Roar
Winning Score

Gasping for air
Competitive Glare

Honored in gold
"Amazing" she's told

Feel the high on the high podium
Better than *****
Better than love
Better than some presence above
Better than any second of bliss
Remember, this life is hit or miss

A single tear of joy
Fears destroy
Simple Winner
Captain Stars and Gold Medals; Perfection within her
Once it's won
The long run has begun

~

Too Thin
Mortal Sin

Gasping for air
Unfair

Forced and Fed
Only water she plead

No moving in a single room
Worse than the tomb
Worse than pain
Worse than being insane
Champion Status locked; forced to reminisce
Remember, this life is hit or miss

A single tear
So much fear
The Olympics play on television
Athletes with such precision
She'll never go
Her perfection will never show

~

*State cuts made with cuts down her ribs
Times dropped with her weight
But five circles never appeared on her back
Oh, because she starved herself

One pill was too little,
Two was just enough.
Three was to push the limit.
Four was to prove it wasn't a bluff.
Five was to be thin.
Six was for my ribs to be a cage
and my heart be the bird.
Seven was to purge myself from within.
Eight was for my hipbones to stick out like knives.
Nine was to ensure that I might not wake up alive.

I don't know since when.
This diet has began
and gone extreme.
There was once
a reasonable aim.
But a new one comes up
whenever the old was
claimed.
Crosses over the weekdays.
Tell me how far I have gone.
But the crosses goes on,
They linger far too long.

I was counting on my calories.
Eating portions from my lunchbox.
No more than
a quarter
I couldn't stop.
I'm sorry.
But I'm not.

Led by starvation
my ultimate downfall.
I was saving all the calories.
For a binge at a time.
Keeping in my desires.
Till it's time to dine.
No my throat is on fire.
It's getting tire and tire.
So I kept eating and
release as
I violently *****.

This is all too
disgusting.
dreadful.
disgusted am I.
Nothing have I eaten for breakfast,
lunch, tea and dinner.
Spooning out from my
kiwifruit.
No one could save me.
From my one and only solitude.

Ana
she stands here
with her back against the wall
she helps me lock my door
when i'm crouched on all four

it's just a diet
keep it quiet
my problems lay in numbers
medical language wont help me here

leave it alone
i'll do this on my own
dont tell me it's dangerous
cuase i'm allready painless
