You've been here a while
Running against that wheel
Motivation is draining
Tired of training.

Gone around that track
More than a few times
But inside you still burn
Make a push to turn.

Hit that concrete
Hit that wall
Break on through
To the other you.

A never-ending race
Don't blame your race
Surf over the tide
For one last ride.

This here in my hands is a small stone
That I will carry on my own
Building a mountain one by one
I won't stop until it's done

Striving forward my muscles ache
What I'm building is not fake
I'm building strength, true and free
What I am building is a better me

A Me that can weather storms and loss
towards optimistic progress at whatever the cost
A hammer and chisel in my hand
From this rock I emerge a self-made man

Not just a body but more a mind
One that is powerful and fiercely kind
Focused on spreading the mindset of its fashion
Expand happiness and spread compassion

Got my background *****
Never my fault, I've tried
Don't even blame my fate
Everyone littered constantly
Put my life under many sweats

Had to wake up and run
Never turning back, just trying
When hardwork pays off
To get that taste in every level
Cramps transformed to rewards

It's a risk to root down deep
Staying in that mode unshakeable
That's how I'm growing through
With all these dirts beneath me
Strengthen my stem and blossom
On the surface like a lotus
Strive hard to the top even if your background haunts you

So small but it's beautiful
Like a pearl from a seashell
So warm hands wrapped under
Tiny fingers holding tight

Wonderful gift of nature
Wonder why it's amazing?
Can't express the impression
The feeling in mere words or lines

The death pain in contractions
She had suffered more to gain
Now see the smile in her tears
That love will never fade away
Never hate your mother, but love her more than your life, wife or another person

Don't strive to have a life that only looks good from the outside.
Live a life that feels great on the inside.
Sometimes we can strive so much to look good to other people without realizing that the smile we project on the outside does not reflect the world inside us.
Be real to yourself.

Black men were stripped of their power and might.
Surviving in the streets
taught them how to strive and fight.
I turn the TV on, not a black man in sight.
Unless he dribble or he fiddle  mics.
Every black boy wants to grow up and be like Nas or Mike.
Blacks are not televised unless they are brocasted to fight.
I ride through the city's bright night lights, thinking one day how ɰє mıɢһţ live better.

Your cutting through my flesh like Thunder and lightning cuts through the sky
Splitting apart  the night as my mind takes flight my heart asks why
Should you complain about fire when your holding water do you like the pain
Oh is it because you wear a chain of rain so heavy it hurts your brain
To Water-down your regrets with tears and the metal to keep you from escaping
Through this whole that is gaping but you're too busy on your knees scraping
The thoughts that linger like why did I put a ring on her finger
Love as a brother or hate has a sister either way you're a sinner
Bound by faith to follow the same trail of tears of those before you
Listen to my words don't let them fool you let them free you
And rest in peace in loving memory of a broke mentality
Rewriting history in hopes we create a more just society
In which our children and children's children could be happy
Cause were in a pivotal moment in time so don't get sloppy
Because you freestyle the present but then forget to plan the future
I refuse to do nothing as my people get butchered so here's my signature
It doesn't matter what place you're in today it's about what place you finish
And when they take your money remember your soul will not diminish

Stale blood running,
every dream failing;
Here I am, not willing to hide,
the beast that's inside.

that girl? harm her;
that old man? suffocate him;
that child? **** him;
that woman? take her baby;
that flower? pluck it;
that tree? chop it;

taking over the world,
greatest man till I'm old,
everyone alive fearing me,
all I can do if the demons please.

brighten up your lights,
the sins will take flights,
it's not upto your fate,
c'mon, it's not that late.

that girl,
she has the cure for your disease;
that old man,
he holds your biggest secret;
that child,
he is the happiness to all your sadness;
that woman,
she has the womb in which you lived for 9 months;
that flower,
it's meant to be in your wedding bouquet;
that tree,
it supports a swing which your child plays.
Sometimes we can't take over ourselves, we just do not know what to do. That's when the demons in us starts controlling us; showing us what we secretly, deep inside, strive for. And the urge for those demons to come out becomes stronger than ever. That time, that exact time, we come to know that all of us have stale blood running through us. All of us have dreams that failed. All of us want revenge. And that is also the time to calm ourselves because we never know what we had harmed, could have been a source of our ultimate joy when time would pass. To those dreams that failed; to those moments that died; to those memories that weren't made; and to those smiles that never came: thank you for a life changing lesson.

The Power's that be
Are laughing at me
They've stacked the deck
To them I'm a speck
Like a kid with an ant
They can't hear my rant
Not that they care
They're not interested in fair
They drop their stones
To hear my moans
Oh look there's the light
Wait, **** it's to bright
They flood my life
With worry and strife
There's no reason or rhyme
It'll change on a dime
They are not very sane
their attention will wane
They will soon let me be
By stepping on me
