A blind man
can s e.e
how
I
feel
Anthony Mayfield Jul 2018
I never meant to feel like this
It came like a sudden fright
Crazy as I am
I’m not so spontaneous
I keep my love out of the light
A true nocturnal creature I am
An animal plain as can be
All the motions that I cram
A display for all to see

Yet none see it
None but me
And maybe

I don’t know what you will say
Somehow that makes this greater
I should be frightened
Scared and trembling
Yet I feel as the victor
I don’t know if you’ll see like this
I hope I never find out
Your heart is mine
So smooth like wine
Come see
You won’t want to miss

Yet none see it
And yet you do
And maybe
That’s enough for two
I never meant to feel like this... But now I'm glad that I do.

i was captivated by the bliss
of you wonderful aura
and i didn't know that i would miss
until i see the aurora,
lightning up the night sky,
as i sigh
and slowly said goodbye
Goodbyes

I was less myself,
wasn't more than myself,
beside myself,
soul looking at me,
like where'd I go wrong,
when did my heart ever turn to stone,
feelings like these to a tone,
when will the other side of me see
that life has grown,
when will the other side of me will see that
life's a fake,
depression was taking a break,
came back,
took what it could take,
love was at its high stakes,
Had more to appreciate,
after all that i've been through,
I'm so glad my heart didn't break.

The Queen Jul 2018
Which one is better to choose? Infinity light or infinity dark? Both of them are alone. Because they so  deep. They can't see anything around them. Either way I'm gonna be alone. because if I can't see them that means they can't see me either.

Well...
****.
You is fine.
You is mine.
You is lovely
I is a lil tubby
But you don't care.
You don't think so.
You thinks I is fine!
Why?
I loves you.
You is my Sweet Babboo.
Can't leave your sweet presence.
Intoxicated by your magic essence.
The tinge of saddness as I leave.
"Parting is such sweet sorrow."
But hopefully I'll see you tomorrow.
Whatever happened to me writing a book about Dandruff focused poetry. Honestly, you guys would've loved it. I deleted them, but those were great poems.

beauty cant you see you make my heart bleed
beauty cant you see your the one for me
beauty cant you see you the way you hurt me
beauty cant you see i just really want to leave
beauty cant you see you make my days shine bright
beauty cant you see your my only light
beauty cant you see when you walk away
you leave me in the dark, i dont wanna play
hide and seek with you
i just want

Slow song

I've witnessed a beauty
I can't describe
That speaks to my soul
As it swims through my eyes
The silent sounds
Sneak into my mind
The taste lingers on
Leaving sweetness behind
The scent creeps up
To slowly remind
Of the touch that once felt
Makes all else fade
Til only your beauty
Pure beauty remains

There's nothing else
Your beauty remains
Old found poem.

Kawasaki revving on a long 5 *******
screaming pipe, watching from behind
a beautiful carousel of red and blue
flashing between my eyes

All along these tired roads
between the wandering streams cutting daily into the sediment
eroding the trust of those ancient riverbanks
exposing the bodies laid to dust

Those great crackling xylophones
marimba of memory and curdled blood
Screaming now, cracking between the gunshots
like bones
Souls forever past it

No forgiveness, no chance
No indictment on a ruddy road

I fall off my bike, skid a mile or two
feel the deep earth grind my skin,
tempting me with heat and a sweet goodbye
a challenge I'll never win

I skid past the officer in a ditch,
hole in his head and a clipboard ripped in two
Poor man, back with the sediment
wrapped in a carpet of beige and mud
all we've ever done

I'm not sure what I'd have said
As I slid past on my way to death
where the Appalachia slammed into Africa
saying we were all in this together
once before
as dinosaurs

So how are we any different then?

Bunch of stardust
and Sediment
Acting like winners
and consumed by lust
for dust and rocks
a part of us
Leading back our dark descent

Kawasaki flips and implodes in a ball of combustibles
behind me the sky explodes into red
and fire of passion deep in our star
of hearts, I know we'll all be the same then
empty of body, devoid of toys
stripped of lies, those knowledgeable clothes
and return to perfect Eden
where dirt and earth are us,
and dust we discriminate
obliterate into the neverend
