Pain etched in the lines around my eyes
Hot tears washed my face weary
The whites of your eyes still scare me
Every crease of your brow stung
As if you've already swung
Open palm and whistling through the air

I let you do this to me
That was my mistake
I won't make it again

Every fist that bangs on a wall
Slams a door
Punches a hole
Jolts my body
Your face floods behind closed shut eyes
As fear racks my insides
I should have fought back
Now I'm fighting everyone else

I can't tell the difference
Between hands outstretched to help
Between hands reaching to hurt
Good touch, bad touch
Soft or harsh

The lines you've blurred
The edges of my hips
My inner thighs
They burn when I think of you

There's not enough locks to keep you out
You break down all my walls
Punch holes through all my closed doors
You demolished my safe space
Did I let you?
Criticism is welcomed, I'm looking to improve my poetry.

His hands are large and strong
I knew this all along
Strong enough to hold me down

Smiles are contagious
His are crooked and malicious
Watching me squirm, crying

My daddy is not safe
I know now because he was taken away
But I thought this form of love was ordinary

I didn't mean to get him in trouble
But I was afraid when his hand was my muzzle
Now everyone looks at me like I'm made of glass

My mom says I can't talk to him
But I just don't get it
He said he wouldn't hurt me

My daddy wears orange
Mom answers his phone call with a look of warning
His clothes are in boxes down in the basement

There's a stack of papers on the counter
That mom's been staring at for the past hour
I think I need to help her with her homework

We make the bed with stains across the mattress
I don't think I can keep up with this practice
I pretend I don't see the guilt in mom's eyes

My mom and I sleep next to each other at night
Because we're both afraid he'll appear in the morning light
Looming over us with his hungry eyes
For the 1/4
Do not keep quiet

you and me,
we though we were in love you see,
you took me,

as my incense was leaving with every step,
and every breath,
and every beat in my chest,

we step inside
your garage became your demise
and you became a beast when you felt deprived

as beast you were,
you made my mind a blur,
and I hate you for this Sir,

Formal terms is all I can give you,
to a man who wanted me just to *****,
you put me through it all just for it to rain blue,

you led me into your garage,
demanded I started to give your **** a massage,
but I didn't engage,

that's when you grab my wrists,
and tried hitting me with your weak fists,
and that's when I didn't wanna exist,

But hitting me wasn't enough,
you sat on me and lifted my dress off thinking you were hot stuff,
and what you saw made me tougher,

You saw my head to toe in the ****,
I laid back while you viewed,
you looking at my body you didn't think would include,
scars that looked liked bad tattoos,

and i cried more and more,
he just asked me what these are supposed to account for,
And i had nothing to say even from everything with before,

he grabbed me in his arms,
and promised me he'd protect me from harm,
like that I fell into his charm,

as he wiped my eyes
he kissed me everywhere with his lies,
everywhere I told myself with my lighter I wanted to die,

this is when he undressed,
when he go to my level last thing I saw of him was his chest,
then he grabbed my *******,
and I felt like he molested me,

but I never stopped him,
throughout he was grim,
and didn't stop till he hit my brim,

and how I though this was okay,
and every day since I pray,
because of how I wish I stayed

so I pray to stay away,
because they can'r pay me enough to go back and decay,
but part of me still loves him and if it were to be that way,
I'd go back and stay,
on some-days,
37: Talk about someone you thought you were in love with.

I am a soul,not a product
I am a dream,not a vision
I am a start,not an abort
Whether you understand it or not

She stepped out to change consequences
But instead, they changed and ripped her apart
How optimistic was she,
Being the one with a new hope
Struggling hard to find the unnamed answers
Still she bore a smile
But each day she died a while,
Far more than a horrible death

Questioning destiny she still had faith
A faith;that questioned the darkened sight of the human heart
Now the question arises,
Was it her mistake or the hunger of the rapists ?
Thousand similar stories are lying there
Unmentioned and no one to bother
Was it not a social issue?
Was it not a rotten side of a disheartened person?

Sometimes it feels being a girl is a challenge
Fighting,facing tortures,balancing and finally protecting
Yet gaining confidence at each step of life
You can't predict whats' life up to
And no one will step forward to help you
Many people will come, and many people will go
Leaving behind a scar in your heart
But the power, the strength lies with you
Cause you have the utmost power to live your life
Cause you have the power to be fearless.
A burning social issue, harassment or molesting is increasing in today's world. Why are people so narrow-minded and selfish?
Why can't women step out freely without giving a second thought about "what if,that happens" Where does the security thing go?

My father told me
this is Love
how two people show
tender feelings for
one another

My father held me
so very close
I had always wanted
To be his Special Girl
Number One in our
cloistered world

My father used his charm
to keep me in his arms
till he was done with me.

Then I became
Uncomfortable
Inconsolable
Unreachable
Unlovable

I beseech abusers everywhere
Please let the children be.

You;
you prey on pretty things.
Damaging innocent bows
and precious curls.
Dainty,
delicate,
*****.
You;
you ruin her.

Sleeves of scars
and a garter of silver lines and burns
oh the hurt I've endured
Seated by the fire as a child
Lord knows I've had thoughts like this for a while
I'd dwell on the discretion I took
brooding over every hook that snagged my flesh
made a mess
of the little girl I never was
and they who shook me
pet me from the inside out
must have forgotten to what degree
their consumptive hands made me bleed
God how I wish they could see
every stain left with or without cause
was provoked by their nostalgic applause
but I don't even blame them
It was a conscious disease
perniciously eating
still chewing at me.

perfectly soft, cascading hair
crest of a neck so real
stripped of all innocence laying bare
words could never heal
on her sleeves, emotions to wear
silence of the night thick to feel
never would she be the same
only loneliness -herself remain

walking through the halls
facing all her peers
no one would ever know at all
her watermark of tears
couldn't tell she'd built a wall
to keep inside her fears
would never let one break it down
comfortable inside her frown

looking now inside to face herself at last
she's battling demons now, demons all her own
rising triumph threatens to destroy her happy past
tearing ripping swallowing up what was once her home
emptiness consumes her, left in a field so vast
why me now this? all questions left unknown

never would she be the same
only loneliness -herself remain

At twenty one thirty ,
and far away,
she made up her mind
and couldn't stay.

Her pain was too much,
for her to bear.
I tried to reach out,
but she didn't care.

At just seventeen,
she had been through hell,
Could not escape
her molested cell.

Nowhere to go,
seeing darkness around,
No escape for this girl,
only hell bound.

I begged her to stay,
she said go away,
Why do you care?
I bowed down to pray.

She grab the blade,
going deeper every time,
Slashed her wrist,
I cried and I cried.

A thousand miles away,
I am now in somber.
Why did you leave me?
I will always remember.

A friend just did this.  I didn't have any of her family members numbers to contact them. I am in complete shock right now.
