Well, I wish there was a telephone in Heaven.
Oh, how I'd love to talk to my Dad.
I'd tell him that I miss him and I love him,
And I'm sorry for the times we never had.

And I wonder if they'd charge me by the minute,
I wonder if they'd charge me by the mile,
I'd call up that ole Angel operator,
Could I please talk to my Daddy for awhile?
Telephone in Heaven

Well, I wish there was a telephone in Heaven.
Oh, how I'd love to talk to my Grandma.
I tell her that I miss her Sunday cookin,
I haven't ate like that since you went to meet Grandpa.

Well, I wonder if they'd charge me by the minute,
I wonder if they'd charge me by the mile,
I'd call up that ole Angel operator,
Could I please talk to my Grandma for awhile?
Telephone in Heaven

Well, I wish there was a telephone in Heaven.
Oh, how I'd love to talk to the Lord of mine.
I'd tell him that I love him and I'm thankful
For watching over all these loves of mine,

And I know he wouldn't charge me by the minute,
I'm sure he wouldn't charge me by the mile,
I'd call up that ole Angel operater,
And say thank you for this big long distance smile,
Telephone in Heaven.
I was browsing Youtube and came upon this song. It sounds pretty old, but it has deep meaning. This song is about a man who longs to phone his Daddy and his Grandma who are in Heaven. He wonders if they would charge him for long distance or by minute. He wishes to call the Lord and thank Him for everything he has done. He knows that God would not charge him by the minute or mile. But he can not phone anybody in Heaven, so he will just have to wait until they meet again.

The roses aren't as pretty
The sun isn't quite as high
The birds don't sing as sweet of a lullaby
The stars are a little bit faded
The clouds are just a little more gray
And it feels like things won't ever be the same

Heaven got another angel the night you left this world behind
Heaven got a little better the day that it took you away from me
I'm missing you tonight
I'll see you again sometime
For now, I'll close my eyes
And dream of heaven tonight

The beaches aren't as lovely
The sky isn't quite as blue
Still, they're sweetened by the memory of you
The rain is a little bit colder
The fire is never quite as warm
Still, it seems that heaven isn't all that far

Heaven got another angel the night you left this world behind
Heaven got a little better the day that it took you away from me
I'm missing you tonight
I'll see you again sometime
For now, I'll close my eyes
And dream of heaven tonight

I'm spending a little more time now with the things that mean a little bit more
I'm noticing the wonders of this world
I love with a little more hope now
I live with a little more peace
Cause I understand how precious life can be

Heaven got another angel the night you left this world behind
Heaven got a little better the day that it took you away from me
I'm missing you tonight
I'll see you again sometime
For now, I'll close my eyes
And dream of Heaven tonight
This song I found on Youtube a while ago. I cry every time I hear this song. Gordon True's voice is mesmerizing and beautiful. This song is about a man who lost a loved one. He says that nothing will ever be the same on Earth, but Heaven got another Angel that day. He misses her, but he knows that he will see her soon. So for now, he will close his eyes and dream of heaven. Later he realizes, the world is still beautiful. He is filled with hope and peace. He now understands how precious life is.

I recited this piece a few years ago for a speech competition. Everybody in the room was in tears. Everybody has loved people who have passed on, but knowing you will see them again makes everything better. during my performance, I thought of my loved ones, and I started crying in the middle of my performance, but I finished with my head held high and mind filled with wonder. I also finished with a perfect score, but the score did not matter much to me.

Mommy went to Heaven,
but I need her here today,
My tummy hurts and I fell down,
I need her right away!
Operator, can you tell me how
to find her in this book?
Is Heaven in the yellow part?
I don't know where to look.
I think my Daddy needs her too,
at night I hear him cry.
I hear him call her name sometimes,
but I really don't know why.
Maybe if I call her
she will hurry home to me.
Is Heaven very far away?
is it across the sea?
She's been gone a long, long time,
she needs to come home now!
I really need to reach her,
but I simply don't know how.
Help me find the number please
is it listed under "Heaven"?
I can't read these big big words,
I am only seven.
I'm sorry operator, ,
I didn't mean to make you cry,
Is your tummy hurting too?
or is there something in your eye?
If I call my church maybe they will know.
Mommy said when we need help
that's where we should go.
I found the number to my church
tacked up on the wall.
Thank you operator,
I'll give them a call.
"Does Heaven Have A Phone Number?" (Anonymous) is about a young child whose mother has died. The child needs to reach her, but does not know how. The child calls the operator for help. The child does not know where Heaven is, or why his/her mother is there. The child needs her RIGHT AWAY so he/she decides to call her at Heaven. The child remembers his/her mother telling him/her that if he/she is ever in trouble he/she should call the church for help.

I recited this piece for a speech competition a few years ago. I everybody in the room speechless and in tears. I hope whoever reads this will be as moved as I am!

I took my Power in my Hand—
And went against the World—
’Twas not so much as David—had—
But I—was twice as bold—

I aimed by Pebble—but Myself
Was all the one that fell—
Was it Goliath—was too large—
Or was myself—too small?

If I was a mountain

That soared towards the sky,

With craggy snow caps

And stormy grey eyes-

Then you'd be the clouds

That swaddled my peak,

That silenced my thunder

When I tried to speak.

If I was the earth

The desert, in fact:

With arid dry soil

And mud, baked and cracked-

You'd be the rain

The downpour that soothed;

The balm to my bruises,

Relief to my wounds.

If I was the Moon

In the indigo night,

With stars as my blanket

And silver; my light-

Well you'd be the Sun

Just always behind

That lent me your glow

And caused me to shine.

Place your hand on your heart.
Feel that?
That is called purpose...
Find your place in this crazy, beautiful, messed up world
before you have to leave it.
While talking one of my best friends out of taking himself from this world, I told him to feel his heartbeat. I believe heartbeats represent life's purpose. Everybody has a purpose- they must find the purpose for their life before it is too late and their heart stops beating.

Thankfully, my friend is still here. I remind him everyday that he is loved and his purpose, whatever it may be, is keeping him alive.

Please go out and find the reason why you are living, find YOUR purpose!
