nobody loses all the time i had an uncle named Sol who was a born failure and nearly everybody said he should have gone into vaudeville perhaps because my Uncle Sol could sing McCann He Was A Diver on Xmas Eve like Hell Itself which may or may not account for the fact that my Uncle Sol indulged in that possibly most inexcusable of all to use a highfalootin phrase luxuries that is or to wit farming and be it needlessly added my Uncle Sol’s farm failed because the chickens ate the vegetables so my Uncle Sol had a chicken farm till the skunks ate the chickens when my Uncle Sol had a skunk farm but the skunks caught cold and died and so my Uncle Sol imitated the skunks in a subtle manner or by drowning himself in the watertank but somebody who’d given my Uncle Sol a Victor Victrola and records while he lived presented to him upon the auspicious occasion of his decease a scruptious not to mention splendiferous funeral with tall boys in black gloves and flowers and everything and i remember we all cried like the Missouri when my Uncle Sol’s coffin lurched because somebody pressed a button (and down went my Uncle Sol and started a worm farm)

Nobody Loses All The Time
A dream dreamt for a millennium Everyday oozing away as I badgered and prayed For one splendiferous day To feel limitless and ecstatic in my cranium. Suddenly, my dream came to fruition All this time was worth the anticipation My brittle bones became strong through elation My every cell frenetic with love's constitution. The dream fulfilled Vanished without warning Soaking my heart in distrust and mourning Creating in the center of my mind an emptiness so still.

Dream Fulfilled; Dream Vanished
*T'was a diamond     amidst stardust   struck of gypsy's     celestial adoration,   crashed and sizzled  'neath earthly intentions, ultimate shimmers      escalated upon        fiercely impetuous seas, each dappling     luminescent wave saturated of splendiferous galaxies,    bathed in heavens'       stellar effulgence, mesmerizing wanderlust's     magnificent indulgences*

Stardust Wanderlust
In days dead and burried in time, In a very far away enchanted clime, In the mighty kingdom of Nineva Where there fairly shone forever, There once was a strange lonely wood That ever in fairest robes of green stood By the edge of a fair shoreline of pearl, Whose mystery none may tell nor unfurl. For akin to the most effulgent yonder star That forevermore scintillates from afar In a splendiferous novelty golden cluster, So thrice scintillated the gem's luster. And 'tis for this that as we all truly know, All mortals, I say, all mortals  of long ago Gravitated from corners of distant lands On the quest for riches by those strands. Once, sweltering was the noontide When upon a violent lonely rolling tide A bunch of desperate pirates were seen Nearing that wood of emerald sheen. In a while, they'd gathered all they could, Leaving not a single gem in the wood. Alas! A wind murmured upon the skies In faint whispers: "Woods have eyes" So muttered all birds - all birds of the air, All creatures in caverns desolate yet fair, All leaves upon strange shadowy trees, And all - all creatures of wild lonely seas. But, despite the looming dark omen, Swifter than plummeting drops of rain, So hastily dashed every single pirate Blindingly minding not about their fate. They raised their silvery sails to take sail But hark! All this - all this was to no avail; For upon the skies no wind was seen To render them across so wide a sea. In a jiffy, louder than birds of the skies All gems whispered, "Woods have eyes." From that moment on, all lost their sight, Doomed never to behold the sun's light. And now, upon those murky restless seas They dost weep but no plea can please, For they were doomed to rove evermore In search of their long forgotten shore. ©Kikodinho Edward Alexandros, Kampala, Uganda. 29th.July.2018.

*Hungered for a taste   of your elixir's essence, drunken inhalations    of your poetry a splendiferous whirl  of time & space 'tween darkly scented moons     and sun's adoration, blithe starry nights amidst meditative new dawn's effervesce,  spirited of the heart, gleaned in the soul, yearnings of another   chapter's paradise universal experiences etched of hourglass sand,  written upon endlessly     chimerical verses wildflower gardens drenched     of dandelion's plum wine swooning under a hypnotic scripted spell, intoxicating power of unchained symphonies dancing amongst skies' released euphoria  resonating in a song's    reprised melodies, breathlessness of delirium's   celestial pauses   in vaporous breezes'   unfurling undulation, captivated by rhythmic   destiny reverberating in      loins' pleasurable calling   quenched of sacred      offering's quell transcending earthly    persuasions' rhyme, let me lick the nectar from    your  poesy's  insatiable  lips, sweet mercy's healing    captured in rapturous    surrender's reawakening ~* *Je veux que vous tous, tu me manques* Ce que vous manquez de moi?

*I tread softly upon your legacy angel of mine with broken wings, traces left behind in soft whispers the best of times gone awry, when you whirl through my head soaring on kaleidoscopic tranquility wrapped in lavender zephyr sighs dancing on clouds of ethereal hope carefree and peaceful without worry floating above lapis forbidden skies like a effulgent butterfly haunting me in the darkly mindless hours of night when the haze clears my conscious etchings you flutter amidst my words exhaling ephemeral moments of poetry swirls of splendiferous opulence dreams beyond my comprehension, I escape to heavenly dimensions 'drips of moonlight washing over me' lingering in this stately haven of intention*

Toes
'Twas in the eventide of June Whilst he didst lay in a pit of despair When a lass fair as a silvery moon Stately sailed his way as a zephyr Yet majestically as drops of dew Rollin' upon boughs of emerald fair. Heaven's ever fair golden eye Had sprinkled her very last ray To pave way unto night maidens That evermore bedight heaven's bay With luster that in perpetuum gladdens Naked eyes in a way i canst not say. Radiant hope in his eyes shone bright To potter beside a beauty queen Whose eyes thrice brighter than light Fair like as sails of diamond hewn, Opalescent as robes of Sirius in the night Whilst decamping at the fall of dawn. Euphonious lullabies into her ear Mellifluously he didst sing and sing, For her to know she's all he did revere. A fair diadem unto her he did bring, For her to forevermore hold it dear Queen unto him she's, and him her King. But yonder stars in lone splendor Coveted him and the beauty queen, For her effulgence surpassed their luster That as passes a fiend with eyes unseen When the wind is hushed into slumber, So did spy upon 'em with eyes keen. Alas! As we all know naught lasts forever, The looming veils of night began to vade Whilst stars in a splendiferous cluster Upon celestial shores coyly didst wend; And his visage grew pale by dawns luster, For far off with his queen they'd eloped. ©Kikodinho Edward Alexandros, Los Angels, California, USA. 24th/09/2018

It's getting late  Why don't you want to be here  Beside me, for me to watch you  I need you  I want you  If you afraid... Don't be  If you afraid... Don't be  Don't be scared, I won't hurt you  Like he did... Twice babe. I want you to like the method to my manliness  See I hope that you make an exception for my friendliness, because my tenderness is splendiferous  I am quite a gentlemen, however it do not stop my urge to dive deep into your sediments and kiss all over your floetry... Is that alright?  All you gotta do is say yes  Set aside your stress  Undress  Rest  Stretch As I flex  And I caress  ...Apex We make a mess I whisper, close to your year  "There's is only one for me, you have made that possibility"  So I don't mind taking that step to "sea" Your wavy shore  Before I walk along it all you have to do is say yes  You sure?  Then you say "right there" Followed by how I "make you so, so, so"  Open up your mind, because it's getting later Don't deny if I'm making you wetter  It's almost late  You're here for a reason  Beside me  Watching me watch you  Knowing I'm needing you  Feeling me wanting you  I can see that you're afraid... Don't be  I can see that you're afraid... Don't be  Because I'm cautious about hurting you  Twice is more than enough  My method of manliness  Is the reason why we're breathless  Why do I question?  The clock?  Because my big hand and your little hand has attracted  After we latched it  We traded keys  Your trembling knees  My laughter  Is assurance  That I plan to be here happily after  Just say yes  And i'll be here until the morning  Then i'll be here for the excitement, and I'll be around when it's boring  Not only appearing when I'm *****  I can taste the lineage because your family is supportive of my decisions  It's really late  For you to be afraid  The lights is out  But trust that I'm right here  Wiping your tears  Afraid of losing you  We're both scared  For you it's being hurt twice For me it's hurting a woman again  It's too late  You basically said yes  By wearing my shirt as your dress  By not denying your head to my chest  Your temple to my peck  You finally mumble I'm the best  And only thing I had left to say is "yes" "You make me so, so , so ... "

~Mystical Yearnings
An iridescent celestial being Anarchic yet effervescent adolescent Frolicking freely in the omnipresent forest, Like a breeze through the leaves. Barefoot & star gazing — native & trail blazing. Like a clever, fearless fairy exploring the faraway night sky, I am the fantastic bit of magic on an otherwise static planet. Bewitched by wild wonderment; Coloring my life with the chaos of pathos. I am the captain of passion, & best little hippie On the mountain — formed by a volcanic fountain That caused a panic on our little oceanic planet. Dancing in multidimensional secrecy, Past an unattainable horizon Is where you'll find me — on the Big Island in the sea. It is a true treasures With impeccable weather & such mystic characteristic, It's almost unrealistic. So forget your whimsey Hawaii five-O fantasy Tear a hole right through the sky Arise, & fly with me on a real odyssey Across the mesmerizing island Teeming with undreamed of creatures & seemingly endless saffron sand beaches few have ever been up to the Vermilion rainbow plateaus & sacred volcano summits Amidst cascading honey suckled waterfalls & streams of splendiferous wildflower meadows. We can indulge in thousands of hues of bloom Or retreat, once more to the oasis at the shore, To stand hand in hand before the prevailing trends Of a turning world; scattering brightness in the dark Fledge millennium into an unadulterated oblivion. Enveloping what is suspend in time with a colour compass configurations The universe, nearly legible expresses herself Writing constellational scribe elucidating galaxy.

Tuesday is a 'Whisper shower' away A night without fearsome lightning nor blustery winds The entrancing song of tickled chimes from front porch swings Harmonious pitter -patter of evening rains The steady trickle of copper , gutter drains Sweet , melodic call of Barn Owls o'er darkened fields Gentle drops of healing water from Cottonwood , Magnolia and Crape Myrtle trees , splendiferous offerings courtesy of cumulonimbus progeny , eventide hail of Spring Killdeer , Mockingbird and Whippoorwill harmony

Rainy Monday ....
I have been beginning to notice that I(and I may not be alone) always look at the past through a marigold monocle. This, meaning nothing now ever seems to be joyous or gay or splendiferous until it is a past memory. A cobweb. A rafter. A leaf on the ground. …I guess.

And then, once upon a sultry twilight, Amidst the ruins of bygones chivalry, Whence maidens most fair lived in sheer delight; Free from lustful relics of rivalry... Until a day came, and a knight was born, The toast of town once tranquil, now thrilling; Thence, jealousy stirred up spite as wild thorns, To ***** wanton urge to crave fulfilling... Itches unrequited by chevalier Under whose spell the whole realm pined away In splendor bedazzling like chandelier Lovelorn stings strewn damsels in disarray These conte chronicled that sultry twilight 'Fore splendiferous valour bared as blight ~~~*****~~~ Then later, will come that sultry twilight, Whence moist lips stained with warmth, those beaks will kiss, To reverse the spell cast to eclipse light, Through insidious vipers with hearts unease. Him, they cooked strange from coven of contempt, As monstrous man halved into an aves; Whom none will forever attempt to tempt, His elixir lost beyond avarice... Altar possessed by essence most cryptic, Breathed upon him, sinisterly omen, Fanned into frenzy most epileptic, 'Pon this bound besieged to efface women. 'Fore that once upon a sultry twilight, Darkness gnawed all fresh and bones into flight. ~~~*****~~~ And now, once upon this sultry twilight, That monster they created spoiled the living, Into desolate and deserted site, With venoms from fang of unforgiven... Save for that last damsel left to be stung; The fairest of them all found from time past; Apotropaic maid, serene and strong, Condemned to kiss away that spell once cast. He aimed to slay, instead her lips he touched... As curse recoiled, estranged from evil hold, Till every grouch from within him was hushed To find the future, lost in past foretold. And now, once upon that sultry twilight, He kissed those lips fated to make wrong right...

Earth's sweet candle fills the sky As the twilight signals signs of a sleepy sun Making its way to the bed on the other side Leaving splendidly with all its royalty A radiant sky of golden nobility Showering the mountains with glorious yellow Embellishing the land with beauty and splendor A kingdom of majesty, born of brilliant fire Loyal silhouettes take their post Outlining the mountains with striking precision Every detail, lavishly traced onto a canvas of light Gilding the landscape with splendiferous shine Good night dear sun Your spouse will take your place Bidding to us good morning Painting murals of magnificent moonlight

Rose (Acrostic)
I never wanted to be a character of your novel but an inked odyssey of your words left unspoken. I never wanted to be the star of your life but your inner star gazing novice. I never wanted to be the light of your life but a glistering ray to hew the gloom you hid within your ***** I never wanted to be a smell of a splendiferous bouquet of flowers but a soothing petrichor. I never wanted to be the drizzle of ephermal joy but a downpour of eternal bliss. I never believed in any space but being the aura of one another. In a world so materialistic I believed in nothing but something very realistic for which, I afflict no more!

All that I wanted was...
The splendiferous rose in picturesque shape and colour aren't all its beauty treasure trove. But how a rose is a rose the flower by the thorns next on the lane adjacent to the utterly opposite heck the very uneven grotesque!

Unremarkable
It's that Flame That was lit on a candle That December night when we had that splendiferous dinner & you thought to convey your undying love for & if our love is undying this flame will never be blown out. Not even by those forceful hurricane winds Because our love is a tornado waiting to engulf you and no there is no calm our love will swallow you whole. Our love is the candle The wax in which we will keep refilling & the Flames are just our eternity.

Everytime that the lustrous moon's visage apply as how the stars that glimmering divided in the sky waiting to perceive a new chapter of tragical book, that she always utter while descending her tears— When she's sensing at the antiquated photographs, titled by their names with date and sugary caption especially those blessed-satisfactory representation. She poisoned her mind that he's a gentle saviour as how he grasps her hands when she fell before, She reminiscence when he enunciate the word hello, that gave color to her life but he just left her alone. She severed her wrist to release her poorly feelings and filled a pen with her blood that she use to write her unheard emotions and questions into a paper; Is it bad if I look to our immemorial representation? Is it bad if I believe that you're a good-hearted person? Is it bad if I verbalize your splendiferous sanction? Is it bad if I cut my wrist to impoverish my emotion? Is it bad if I wear happy mask to hide my impression? Is it bad if I didn't fight our love for your satisfaction? Is it bad if I still love you without any hesitation? Is it bad if I want you to be yours without limitation? She asked using literary art from her fragile heart— as a glass that downward-sloping from the paradise, Moving swiftly with air, think through being escaped but directly goes to the pits and broke into pieces. Sunlights reverberate his faded shades of love for her make her to reckon his spoken metaphors anywhere, that slowly killing her willingness to symphathize life, due of his falsity phrases that stabbed her as a knife.
