Obsessed
mariiia Aug 2018
Well, aren't you beautiful
In the sunlight today?
Your sweaty face
A shovel in your hands
You look at me
But no soul can be seen
In your cold blue eyes
The water you give me
Is all muddy and *****
Oh, I can't grow like this
With you

The sunrays dance
All alone today
Without your face
And the heat of your hands
Warmer than the sun
It sings a sad song
And I sing along
The water you used to give
I need it more than anything
Oh, I'm going to die here
Without you

Forever, Goodbye
mariiia Jun 2018
We were walking
Along the sidewalk
Your shoulder gently touching mine
Your eyes laughing
While mine were crying
You turned around
And said goodbye

Your silhouette
Was fading away
As you ran into the fog
My heart breaking
Shedding tears
I kept on calling out your name

Restless thoughts
A sleepless mind
Walking against walls
As if I was blind
Wherever I go
Forever I'll search
I'll never ever see you again

Heart Of A Flute
mariiia Jun 2018
Look up to the sun
Your face cooling down
The wind blowing soft
Carrying soft tones
Can you hear it?
It's her playing the flute
Calming down her heart

Spin around in circles
Feel the sun
Heating up your blood
With an upbeat song
Can you hear it?
It's her playing the flute
Wanting to dance

Cover your head
The rain is pouring
You cry your first tears
Hearing a heartbreaking melody
Can you hear it?
It's her playing the flute
Drowning in sorrow

Feel the pain
Taking over your body
You hated her so much
High notes piercing your ears
Can you hear it?
It's her playing the flute
Crying for help

Fall into the grass
Like she fell in love with you
The sun is setting
You whistle to the loving melody
Can you hear her?
It's her playing the flute
Forgiving you

A Painter's Death
mariiia Jun 2018
Paint on the floor
Sketches on the door
Pastel chalk dust everywhere;
A painter lives here
He stays up late
He loses weight
His paintings so deep
He barely eats or sleep

Poor painter is stressed
With his work obsessed
But doesn't get anything done
Inspiration is gone
It hurts to the core
He can't take it anymore
Throws the brush on his bed
Which stains the sheets red

The Sea
mariiia May 2018
The salty wind
The sunlight dimmed
A white dove
Flies alone
On a stone
A maiden of love

A pure white dress
Not more or less
Freedom's gate
In front of her feet
Her first love to meet;
It was her fate

The sand was soft
Her happiness lost
A dove's cry
In the silence it rings
So she grew angel's wings
And started to fly

Innocent Love
mariiia May 2018
She sat next to me in biology class
I was a desperate student hoping to pass
By the way she talked and the way she laughed
I was charmed and my attention was caught

I looked at her with dreamy eyes
And didn't even notice how time flies
She noticed it and smiled at me
My heart would jump and pound with glee

I tried to talk but my head was empty
So I held my breath and counted to twenty
Because my words and phrases weren't fluid
And then I would come up with something stupid

Maybe I was confused or needed a change
This feeling was new to me and really strange
But it was as pure as a white pearl;
I would have never expected to fall for a girl

Wrong
mariiia May 2018
Tender voice
Innocent smile
She had no choice
But to stay for a while
His words were poison
His charm a curse
She had a good reason
Yet she didn't refuse

Under the fragments
A rotten heart
Because of his absence
She fell apart
His very presence
Gave a reason to live
He found pleasance
But he had nothing to give

She loved him deeply
It was love at first sight;
Mum reminded her gently
This love wasn't right
He was never there
And it hurt to the core
Soon he didn't love her
And didn't care anymore

When she found his secret
She was in pain
His lies were so frequent
She'd become insane
She started to cry
And let out her fears
No-one wondered why
He drowned in her tears

Rain's Love Song
mariiia May 2018
A lonely boy looked up to the sky
With teary eyes about to cry
While standing still at one place
Tears started streaming down his face

He slowly started to fall apart
His body was trembling and it broke my heart
His hands were trapped in a golden chain
I just wanted to erase his pain

I kissed his face and kissed his hair
I kissed his clothes he liked to wear
His cheeks, his chest, his hands and lips
And even his fingers and fingertips

He closed his eyes and started to smile
And stretched out his arms after a while
Even at this dark and hopeless day
I was able to wash his pain away

Haunting Memories
mariiia May 2018
The moon outside
I'm looking at it
Say, do you see me?
I can see you on it

The lake in the woods
Is confusing me
I can see your face
Smiling with glee

A cello's soft sound
I can't hold back my tears
As I hear the melody
Your voice rings in my ears

It's dark outside
And so silent in the hall
I recall memories of you
And see your shadow on the wall

I fall asleep and have a dream
But before I can take a breath
You look at me and walk up to me
And strangle me to death
