Today, I got to open the door
They **** everywhere
They **** in the elevator, in the
long hallway, in the truth vending machine:
My brave heart sought a glance from,
Countless(not always) times averted had I,
Now I sought(in snatches)- vain and askance
I stood, exacted by the same meekness.
I could've atleast cried aloud within,
My throbbing brain alone.

Resolve and break off, neatly tucked away.
'Egomaniac!'
They **** in my bathroom. They are in a storm. But eyes unclouded, I could see!
Them *******, Their hands all over...
Exhaust pipes mirroring worlds, for all they care. They are clad in white, faces and all.
When I lie, telling the truth again:
Following it. Asking favours when dumb.
Part of them now stick out of me, Devolving white into the storm. They're seen with my
eyes, trained in my mind, Open my door.

no one can draw her
as she slaves the vision

no one can draw her
as her cute paralyzed the motion

no one can draw her
as she prisons  the emotion
her brilliat was so smart and no one could lift up his look

PAIN PASSION AND PLAY
there will always be pain passion and play
but what really matters is what you think about at the end of the day
finding hope peace love and tranquility
call it lucky if you have that ability
but practice daily with humility
as without it there can be no civility
life is not taken given or achieved
never close your eyes or be deceived
life is always changing and growing
life is practice as you could never become all knowing
so keep a smile as you continue growing
and remember there's never enough practice to ever stop showing
something you cannot see or touch but still feel
so keep your chin up and keep it real.
Christ
She did not like coffee in the morning
She did not like to eat at lunch
Resistance at dinner
You know the heart of a sinner
She loves the sound of sweet death
Her heart beats slower within her chest
Her treasure is buried deep
The mountain she made appears so steep
The stairway to the deep
The hill provided a step
A rope to climb her way out
A handle to lift her up
And a band to hold her clear
Death to America was their cheer
Drunken driving unable to steer
What did they fear
With heaven so near?
A love to them became so queer
Unnatural in ways became their path
Pointing fingers at the other one's way
They do not listen to what the Angels say
Life and death do divide
But a blackened heart never can hide
The day had come to pick a side.
The great divide

She walks
Yes she has walked in a sea
Fecklessly running and strumming
Heart beating not seeing but grasping onto homeless dreams.
Note to self…
That next time you see Leviathan
Tell him there’s One much greater
And any time you hear the silent ring
Whistle while you work.

She prays for peace and she prays for mercy
Redemption only a sinking heart can long for
See she wondered in the wilderness
Singing breathless songs and looking into holes
A wild woman yet unnamed
A wild woman yet untamed

But she prayed for peace she prayed for mercy
So next time she sees Leviathan
She’ll tell him there’s one much greater
For when tears were her prayer
A king came to save her
On clouds of wonder
And righteous splendour
So she walks on...
Because all other women (Kingdoms) are weakness; the kingdom of God is built on wisdom for all. Equality in the pursuit of happiness even by the constitution of the state of Florida in retrospect: Justice is not for sale, denial or delay. All men are created equal and the bar was created not to deny these rights but to protect them as ruled by the Supreme court and under the supreme Law of the land; the United States Constitution. As given by divine providence and nuture's God. The nature of the state of mind and the deeds of the mouth spoken from the heart. Evil triumphs when good men do nothing and for this reason governments were instituted just as moses gave the sermon on the mount. America the beautiful promised land given by God in the divinity demonstrated by Jesus and the famous 4 score and 7 years ago even today. Christ Jesus stood at the crossroads of faith truth Justice and the American way to deliver us this beautiful nation of nations so many have taken for granted today although his banner still waves. ;)

Every Man Has a Dream
by Michael R. Burch

for Beth

Every man has a dream that he cannot quite touch...
a dream of contentment, of soft, starlit rain,
of a breeze in the evening that, rising again,
reminds him of something that cannot have been,
and he calls this dream love.

And each man has a dream that he fears to let live,
for he knows: to succumb is to throw away all.
So he curses, denies it and locks it within
the cells of his heart and he calls it a sin,
this madness, this love.

But each man in his living falls prey to his dreams,
and he struggles, but so he ensures that he falls,
and he finds in the end that he cannot deny
the hope that he feels or the tears that he cries
in the darkness of night for this light he calls love.

Last Curtain
by Rabindranath Tagore
loose translation/interpretation by Michael R. Burch

I know the day comes when my eyes close,
when my sight fails,
when life takes its leave in silence
and the last curtain veils my vision.
Yet the stars will still watch by night;
the sun will still rise like before;
the hours will still heave like sea waves
casting up pleasures and pains.
When I consider this end of my earth-life,
the barrier of the moments breaks
and I see by the illumination of death
this world with its careless treasures.
Rare is its lowliest seat,
rare its meanest of lives.
Things I longed for in vain and those I received, let them pass.
Let me but truly possess the things I rejected and overlooked.

I didn't die when I was struck by lightning but it was a terrible fright.
The bolt of lightning struck me in the head and gave me second sight.
I saw my neighbors daughter drown in a vision.
Her parents ignored me and it was a bad decision.
If they had listened to me, their daughter wouldn't have drowned.
They don't believe in second sight and their girl is buried in the ground.
Tears rolled down my cheeks when their daughter died.
I couldn't save that poor little girl even though I tried.
Some say I have a special gift but it's irritating when people don't believe.
When I'm ignored, bad things happen and misery is what people receive.
I told a man that I saw him being killed by a train and he flipped me a bird.
He told me to go to hell and he said that my visions are fake and absurd.
He tried to beat a train the very next day and it hit his car.
Because of ignorance, cemeteries are where two people are.
I just had another terrifying vision and it's about you.
You'll die in a plane crash and my vision will come true.
If you ignore me, you'll die but if you listen, you'll remain alive.
You better take what I say to heart or you won't survive.
