Red tides crash ashore,
pulled in by a new moon.
Madness flows in.
The mind is a sharp blade,
and is keen on its desires.
All senses slowly sink
straight to the ocean floor.
The current sweeps everything away;
tiring the mind and body.
Thoughts give in to incoherence,
letting those destructive obsessions in.
Finally, they accept that red tides
are their only solace.

Your tide rolled in
Your tide rolled out
The best way to describe us,
Our love,
To define what happened
Is to compare it to the ocean,
My sanity the sand.
Your love became a tide to me.

Consistent in only one way,
The way it never
Never ceased to exist
Yet inconsistently
Constantly changing.
Your waves cascaded over me,
across my shoreline
swallowing every bit
of who I once was.

All the while I was gasping for air.
Your water filling every crack
Your tide rolled in
Your tide rolled out
Each passing time
disturbing my sand
My sanity
Taking away the smallest pieces
Every time the tide rolled in
Until finally
Nothing that was once there
Still existed.

I sail

my mind's

tide of

many questions

And only

under the

Eye will

I find

the answers
Ever have that moment when you stop and just question everything?
To the point that you get a headache because your questions breeds MORE questions?
Yeah, I'm having more and more of those days, it seems.

Be back soon!

Wandering this dark forest with no guide
Figuring out the labyrinth of the my feeble mind
Evading the sun for melted wax leads to a salty tide
To rejoin the stars so I too can shine
Ocean tide, please wash away
All of the misery from yesterday.
And my past, and the winter.
White, frantic snow that made me bitter.

Draw in the sunshine and the love.
Take back a previous life that was rough.
Ocean tide, I know you can
Help me see my love again.

Ocean tide, release your wave.
Blend in with the melted snow and rain.
Move my boat to find my treasures,
Or my pile of long lost letters.

Gold locks and chains buried deep.
I thought that my love was one to keep.
Ocean tide, do be brave,
Though this path is somewhat unsafe.

Ocean tide, it’s getting late.
Do not make me sit and wait.
Search the seas, maybe sky.
I want to see my love tonight.

Splash around your waves of salt.
The loss of my love was all my fault.
Ocean tide, do me well.
I’ll keep the secret... I shall not tell.

Ocean tide, it’s now or never
To find the person I thought I’d lost forever.
The wind is too light to drift you astray.
Please don’t take long or my dead heart will decay.

There is a secret that I only know,
And the time seems so very long ago
That I stepped up and set out to find
My one true love with the ocean tide.

There is the secret which I only know,
Washed away together with the past and snow.
The secret is that with the ocean tide,
Forever one may never hide.

And though the memories run deep
There are promises I can't keep

The waves of fortune they run high
They ebb and flow with the tide

The strongest warrior couldn't stand
Against the rushing of the sand

Though wonders far and wide may roam
Nothing beats the comforts of home

Tipping over laughing on the edge of the matress
Giggling into cackles as you tackle me, naked
I didn't have to ask you to seek me out here
In the baptismal shallows of deviant desire
In which you ***** and dunk me backward
Throw me open like I'm your own casket
Reach in with hope to save your spoiling soul
Voluntary love took long enough to find me
Across a life on tides of disgust and pity *****

if the ocean were to take you
i'd jump in after you
i’m a pretty decent swimmer
yet not one that can save
the waves are stronger than my will

but i’d tread ice cold water
to hold you close once more

the tides can pull us under
the current can drag us out
the seaweed can wrap us closer
i'd have neither fear nor doubt

i'm sure we'd find Atlantis
or possibly grow some gills
i'm sure love under water
is an even bigger thrill
It’s high time, high tide
we push the boats out

a stone   ’   s throw away

my arm gets stronger
and everything
gets further and further
