"NOTHING MUCH FOR MINORS"

Minors are those less than eighteen,
As they don't have knowledge in keen.

They don't have a driving licence,
As don't have driving sense.

Minors are given just pen and page,
Their life is not more than a cage.

Holiday is not given even on sundays,
As their age is negligible for fundays.

Parents are worried not to get blame,
From minors they just want their fame.

Circumstances are same for every minor,
Parents are just their life designer.

You come home stumbling
mumbling
grabbing me as the toxin numbs

I pretend I’m not sober
so I can feel your skin against mine

I pull you closer as you pull away
and we crash into sheets

I pretend not to feel your confusion
as you touch the curve of my neck
and remind me that I need you
more than you need me
a real truth for a lot of people out there. i found out before too long that i was just a pretty face. some men are just ******* who when intoxicated- decided your suddenly worth it. but when the morning comes... you are nothing.

Why it's easier to cling to what you know
Well what you think you know
To let it go always wondering what could've been
I've been a-sin
I'm not proud
But I've grown thick of it
Lies were thin
And love won't win
I love you still
So you win
Love goes sour
At the most ungodly hour
And I'm left w our
Pieces and ****

Your actions echo love,
My rendition of it;
Why don’t they linger
Like words will.

Your actions parade love
That I applaud;
Why can I not trust them
Unless I have it in print.

I write
Poems of love
For a man of few words.

I feel
Acts of love
For a writer, is it not enough.

Dear god,
Who art in ever,

Hallowed be thy bud,

thy grass and shrub,

On earth as it burns in heaven.

Give us this day our daily succ

and forgive us our sins,

as we revel in the sins that made us.

And lead us not into Asymmetry.

But deliver us like parcels
For thine is the wisdom,
and the timeless,
and the gorgeous forever.

Amen.
There is symmetry in these words that uneasily pleases me

for ****'s sake give your superficial ego a break‬

‪it masks your insecurities‬
‪but an empty person is all I see‬
‪all your potential has been absorbed by chemicals‬

‪all the pain has messed up your brain and I tried to refrain ‬
‪but I want to help you go back to yourself again‬

‪p.s. i dont like you, i dont love you‬
‪.....anymore‬.

i still tucked her letter away
even if she managed to contradict
all of its contents.
a heroic feat.
maybe her best work.

the first time i saw her i was left in a spiral of awe
the second time i saw her i was left unprepared
the third time i saw her i noticed her laugh brought tears to my eyes
the fourth time i saw her i finally had enough courage to say hi
she brightened my week with a simple smile
i felt a deep longing for something that was right in front of me
i never thought love was real
never thought
and i had not known what it was to be alive until she took my hand
every cell in my body longed her touch once more
melodies played in my head
violins playing sweet euphonies
when our eyes met orchestras erupted in my mind
the sun burned brighter than ever before
the moon gasped at her beauty
the stars didn't even stand a chance

the next time i see her maybe she will see me too
aaaaaaaaghhhhhh this is a really bad poem im sorry

A wise person once said

Patience is not measured by your ability to wait. But by your actions and your behavior while you wait-

How great is your paitence to wait for the fruit of your tree to become ripe?

In this day and age people say they have patience but cant wait 5 minutes to hear back from someone.

In todays society theres a demand to get everything now but how great is your patience?

Are you willing to wait a year for success? Let alone a few weeks.

And as the quote says above how will you be waiting?

Will you be waiting patiently? Or will the thoughts and fears that poison your mind saying what if it doesnt work out? Will you walk away?

Patience greatest enemy is that cursed two words. "What if".

But "what if things do work out" and everything falls according to plan and the stars align did your patience follow through?

See i can say all i want about patience but the true meaning is no words at all. Just silence. And peace.

How great is your patience.
How great IS your patience?
