Grass hurls back raindrops
as wet soil clings to feet

rain no longer pours
gray disappears
sky turns pale cerulean

eyes journey, to where soft
colors make a heavenly arch

telling of zephyr
a bit of sun
rains, on hold

i wind over...close my eyes
unicorn's music
is
soporific

"somewhere
    over
      the
      rainbow

         blue birds fly

      ....................................

      ....... why can't i.".......

Somewhere Over the Rainbow
           Judy Garland

Somewhere over the rainbow, way up high
There's a land that I've heard of once in a lullaby.
Somewhere over the rainbow, skies are blue
And the dreams that you dare to dream,
Really do come true.

Someday I'll wish upon a star
And wake up where the clouds are far behind me.
Where troubles melt like lemon drops,
High above the chimney tops,
That's where you'll find me.

Somewhere over the rainbow, blue birds fly
Birds fly over the rainbow
Why then, oh why can't I?
If happy little bluebirds fly beyond the rainbow
Why, oh why can't I?

***I have a musical unicorn figurine that plays this music, which I had been playing over and over while we were having continuous rains.***
I can't remember when
I asked you to be mine
I have lost that memory
Somewhere in my mind

I can't remember when
You said to me "I do"
I have lost that memory
It's only known by you

I can't remember things
I'm always at a loss
I have lost those memories
But, I don't know at what cost

I can't remember when
I last said "I love you"
I have lost that memory
Each day is all brand new

I can not remember who I am or who you are
I look up into the sky, and can't wish on a star
I know that I once loved you, but my mind won't go that far
I don't know who I am or who you are
there’s a place
where the sun meets sea -
that’s where we used to be.
now we’re somewhere
Here.
you’re having this strange fear
& I’m calling someone else dear.
I’m playing in this sand,
you’re stuck on the land.

Let's find some place to go,
Where it never snows,
The rain is always warm.
Let's find somewhere,
Where the only tears cried,
Are content.
Let's find somewhere to go,
Where the sky is always clear,
As pure as the hearts we're given.
Let's find somewhere,
Our own island.
A sanctuary.
I wrote this yesterday for my boyfriend.

We should step into the lonely o'clock
To play games beneath the ruptured lamps
Where every drunk can offer an undeniable
Explanation, or convert a lie to invention
And your smile can be heard as an intense myth
Imported in its agitated recognition
a work being born

There is a place in this world where we all belong

Where we can be as free as the wind and as reckless as the waves

We could sleep on the sand and walk the shores

Where the water will love us and we will care for it

Where we can swim forever into the depths of the sea

And explore the places where people have never been

And share secrets with the coves and have a family of miles of seawater

See creatures of other worlds and beautiful kelp forests

That’s where I would be forever and ever

I wish I could be there, live there

Soon I will be at the sea and live with the
Creatures

Soon that will happen

Somewhere different,
Somewhere new.
Lead the way;
I'll follow you.

Down the road
to the stream.
We'll jump the brooke
to chase our dreams.
We're as far as
we have been;
This is where
it all begins.
It is late,
the sun has gone.
But the moon will
guide us on.
Into the woods
we wander still.
We are scared
but we are thrilled.
Our path is rough,
ill-defined.
We're headed nowhere--
we don't mind.

Someday we will
settle,yes.
Lay our ambitions
down to rest.
Find comfort
in security,
in a home
and family.
And though I look forward
to this fate,
I'm in no rush
to reach that state.

There's still so much
I want to see.
I'll take the lead;
You follow me.

What would you like for Christmas?
A smile
Well why would you want that?*
Because it would make my day better
If I knew I made someone
Somewhere
Smile
In a weird place right now

Love me so hard

that I end up being like the earth.

Spinning wildly in orbit exposing every surface to your touch

Love me so hard

I find myself hung over from drinking the wine of your skin

Causing me drunk in a tumble of forever and a inebriation I never want to stop

Love me so hard

I forget what day tomorrow is

So I can live in this moment for that much longer

Love me so hard

the glacier of my past melts

Into a sea of forgiveness

Love me so hard

I crumble onto one knee

Asking you to melt your last name into mine
A love that is fully engulfing.
