The stilted conversation
The formal tone of voice
He's too polite to not reply
He feels he has no choice.

I reminisce and chatter
Babbling on and on
But then I finally realise
His interest has long gone.

I gave the hand of friendship
But that was not to be
We’ve hit a void, an emptiness
Now memory, set him free!

I can see weapons in your eyes
You wish to cut so many ties
I must tell you so many times
To stop with all of your white lies
That you tend to internalise
Take a moment to realise
That this isn't change but surprise
And yet you still reach for the knives
Two friends inspired me today and this came to be.
Please, never believe when I say
*I'm Okay" while smiling.

I hear something in me

.
I just realised it's a heart beat

I didn't realise
What a hardship it would be
Until I truly felt it
Heaving on my shoulders like a boulder

Come stand with me
Let your mind wander, let it be free
For just one moment, look at your life and realise that you own it.
Open your eyes, no door is closed.
Only your mind can decline the choices you have inside
I can tell you, you perceive your world
In one of two ways
Number one
You're in a room with only one way, do you go through the single door or do you just stay.
Number two
Your room has two doors, but which do you choose. You want to be careful so that you don't lose

Your eyes maybe open, but your mind is sown shut, you feel your stuck in a rut but don't worry your story still ain't woven until you have written and started living.
Picture it like this, the room your in has fifty no make that a hundred doors.
Now through each door, another room exactly the same
No door is closed, never a single choice, now I propose you listen to that little voice that hides in your mind, just take your time, and you'll be just fine.

Now I ain't saying your life will be perfect
It'll probably be far from it, but that's the best part, don't be afraid of what can be made, let your life start.
Never one choice

Grew up in a separated house hold
Wit no father around 7years old soon as my feet touch the ground i had to figure things out I made a dedication to mother, myself and family an whos ever around, to do what ever it takes to hold us down ..Dreams of Harvard or  Tuskegee university lookin up to the Obamas and Ryan Leslie's purely off the knowledge they received I could care less bout their image, and popularity. The world is limitless when you have persistence

I like to think we're all one in a million,
From the point we were in our mother's womb,
to the point we crust down in under the city clay.

I like to think we all have a purpose,
a purpose to help, a purpose to hurt
a purpose to aid, a purpose to raid
And a purpose to live.

I like to think we all have our own fate
A fate to meet, a fate to fade,
A fate to cry or a fate to laugh,
A fate to die.

But regardless of what I like to think,
I now realise it's an illusion chained in my state of mind...
I write to delude my self that its still the same...
