A snake will always be a snake
No matter how much you want it to change
You cannot will something to change
When it is comfortable in its skin
A snake will scour the terrains of this earth,
Slithering on its underbelly to patiently wait
For the perfect opportunity to present the perfect victim
A bite that strong will never infuse you with honey,
Sweetening your veins like a cup of coffee
No, a snake will permeate you with venom
Traveling through your blood like a wildfire,
Spreading its poison as fast it can
Burning everything from the inside out
Hoping to **** you in an instant
It feeds on the tragedy for breakfast
But savors the pain for dinner
Accept the nature of its ways
Because trust is foreign to a snake
Believing its heart can be thawed and saved
Is a waste of time
When its wickedness and deceit
Are the only things that can keep it alive
Long time, no post :P I found a writing prompt online where I had to include three specific words: snake, honey and thaw! I hope you guys like the end result of this!

In my mind I have a hive
where a million bees live and thrive.
The killer bees have left, they've gone
I have no need, what's done is done.

The honey bees, that now I keep
so sickly sweet, they let me sleep.
The bees and I now live as one,
they'll follow me when I am gone.

Each one of them and from above
a little sting, from me with love.
So sickly sweet into your mind,
memories of me are all you'll find.

So every day that you live on,
equal days that I am gone.
See, suddenly it all made sense,
A life of pain,
your recompense.

Poetry by Kaydee
Often writ in retrospect of memories, a cloudy recollect.

Your words sweet like honey calms me,
your tongue drips with songs of comfort, I'm enthralled,
your heart panting with love for me, it's stupefying,
the words are good, and so are the songs,
it's those actions that say you love me.

the prophet after the battle
he had to get a rest
he slept at the shadow of the tree

his citizens distributed at the place of the battle
they slept as they tired
one of the enemy hide away

he sneaked little, little
he took the sword
which the prophet hanged high

he put the sword toward the leader
he asked the prophet with great confident
who will prevent you, honey?

only one movement, he might **** the messenger
the prophet saw with clear and spirit
"allah" means" God, God" with bravery

the sword was fallen at nearer
the prophet took it and asked,"
who would prevent you? "at true way

the man said,"Oh! Muhammad! be the best taken, dearer"
Muhammad answered," go without wait"
the man returned with interest and busy

they asked," what is the matter?"
he answered," i came from a person, who is the best!
mercy means that do not punish your enemy as they want

If your lips are roses,
soft and sweet with dew,
Then your arms around me,
are ivy or kudzu.

Your eyes are wildflowers,
their beauty so unique.
The first time that I saw them,
I forgot how to speak.

Your smile is sunshine,
on a blue-sky day,
Your laughter is sunset,
Made of colors I can’t convey.

Your thoughts are dandelions,
After a springtime rain,
Sprouting, budding, blooming,
And filling up your brain.

And your kisses, they plant seeds,
In my mind and on my skin,
always helping me grow,
And find my strength within.

So If you are a garden,
May I be a bumblebee?
To take what you offer,
And turn it to honey?

Bring sweetness to your life,
And help your garden grow,
You do the same for me,
Probably more than you know.

I’ll try to be sunshine,
When the clouds are gray.
I’ll be a cool breeze,
On a too-hot day.

If you let me in your garden,
I’ll help tend the weeds,
And shower you with love,
Anytime that you need.

I pray
I pray fire
furnace roar from your centre
circling cells, sparking breath, spirit
rising

I pray honey
warm milk sober flow
as gauze, to shield and sooth
your wound

I pray kitchen tonic
sweet ferment, anise spice
molasses bitter—the nourish
and gather

I pray leaf and flower
brewed to healing power

I pray squirrel play
great leap, and hover—
catch and clamber
chase and chatter

I pray snowdrop
nestled in cold darkness, knowing spring
always follows winter

I pray river
ancient friend steering you to salty depths
and home

I pray sun gaze deep breath full surrender
I pray blue sky long view
sleep’s cover
I pray love of a mother
I pray
For my mum, and Susie, both who are nursing broken hearts.

I smell a queen bee drenched in alcohol!
Dried up and soaked into a cotton ball!
One whiff and suddenly she is my queen bee!
Now I spend my life making a spoonful of honey!
