There’s just one moon for you
But countless stars to shine on you
The heavens they will dance for you
And the sun will rise and set for you

The wind will blow so strong for you
The tide will ebb and flow for you
The skies will turn to blue for you
And birds will sing a song for you

The fog will lift its veil for you
The sands of time will flow for you
The leaves will grow and fall for you
And I will live and die for you

I am there too.
Where I can see them, feel them breathing.
In and out.
Fluid and with ease.
Bubbles of air escape from their mouths,
playful and free.
Oblivious to the murk that is me...
Every day I don't see you

Leaves me a little misted

I hope that you'd come and clear me up

I never liked morning fog

I'd run to you like a morning jog

Seeing you in running gear is a sight

For the morning for sure

Just about anything you wear

Brings my heart upstairs

For every time you think nobody cares

I live to dare

By instantly denouncing your statements

Because they're causing me abatements

With my heart

With my passion for you

Music to my ears

Would be to hear a confident sentence come out of your mouth and mean it

Nothing would elate me more

That pretty voice of yours needs that sparkle
Its the haze of talking all around
The slow moving of the train and a push against your back
In the streets where the sun never shines
And the clouds touch the ground

Where all you wish is to get up
But you keep falling down
Fog's in your head
And mist films your eyes

The constant buzzing in your ears
The smell of rotten beer
Puffs of smoke dance about
The ache of your feet upon the ground

Open the door to your twelve by four
And it feels so frightening
Vision starts whitening

The silence is so loud
When your head isn't in the clouds

We live in a superficial world
of shattered identities
and
a loss of reality

my senses are
Numb

We do not know what it is to feel :
anything

sadness
has died
in cipralex

anxiety
has drowned
in clonazepam

my cheap, glass arm
was about to break
in the basement of a house
that i tried so hard to call home

I am
utter
sheer
nonsense

we will live together,
and I,
I will die alone

The surrounding lights drown in silence
Sinking without a struggle
Absorbed into this sea of isolation
Saturating every action into submission
Leaving me shouting at my strayed shadow
With each note falling flat around me
My mind fog-bound and lost at sea.
Trying to get into my mum's dementia mind.
The moody greys;
The rain that stings;
A thousand random,
Happy things,
That makes me want
To leap and play;
To take in the splendor
Of this cold, wet day,
And revel in it's quiet gloom-
To watch it weave
On it's dampened loom-
For daylight does not at all compare
With this misty, freshened,
Dripping air.
Though all and sundry
Are brought down low
By the gift the heavens
So kindly bestow,
I feel instead Nature's kiss
In this, the weather
I always miss.
So while others may think to complain,
And shake their fists at the falling rain,
The soothing wind doth caress my cheek;
And so, inspired,
I thought to speak-
Of the drought of sun,
And it's absent rays;
And this,
The perfect, rainy day.
But an exaltation,
a prayer to none:
I do not wish this day be done;
Rather I would plead,
Sincere,
To leave this solemn weather here.

This morning
The heavens and earth became one
A cloud rested on the lake
And it could not be seen
Where the sky ended and the water began
The land was an island
Floating on fog
And I stood on the edge
Of an expanse of white

The fog in my mind
Thickens with each
Thought that runs through.
The darkness seems so
Endless; like the abyss
Of the ocean was shoved
Inside my head and remained
There for the rest of my days.
It is hard to see light
Ahead of me now.
It is hard to see through
The terribly dense fog.
It is even hard to see that
Anything matters.
**Especially me.
