I see those people
Far, far above
I was never like them
So drunk on love.

So now I'm here
As I look up at the sky
Watching, green-eyed, cause the
Lucky f**ks get to die.
Read parts 1 and 2 on my stream!

We see the clouds and the fiery pits
And we hope for our chance to fly.
But we are never fully certain
Of where we go when we die.
Read parts 1 and 3 on my stream!

You see those people
Far, far below?
We were once just like them
Eating what we grow.

But now we're here
Up in the sky
And they can't wait to see
The place they go when they die.
Read parts 2 and 3 on my stream!

I don't know what will happen when I die.
But I do know what will happen if I don't try.
So today, even though I want to cry
From all the stress, the pain, the fear,
The loneliness I feel, the **** that's real
No matter how much I try to deny,
My eyes will stay dry.
I'll try.

A whole lot can happen in a second
Entire lives forever altered … and
The whole world is changed
every single minute…

Can you count the seconds
Of a baby's first breath?
Can you measure the interval
Transition between life and death?

How long does it take to die?
Caught off-guard by accident...
Or for total change of heart and mind,
By some unexpected, life-changing event?

How long is the "moment of victory"
Compared to the "hour of defeat?"
Both are decided in an instant
How much destiny is changed in a heart-beat?

Take the time you need...
Value your time indeed...

As they passed the
Windows
And turned to watch
The people that
Watched
The girls who fell
Fell without a sound
But the ones who
Stood
On the ledge
And were pushed
Fell like rain
...
Because
Everyone could hear them fall.
Inspired by the short story 'The Falling Girl' by Dino Buzatti.
It's really good.
I'm gonna write a part 2.
This is my 300th public poem. :)

Dancing in the sunshine,
A dream come true.
Up above the world,
Into the blue.
Seeing the heaven,
With eyes its own.
It felt immaculate,a special flower,
A season ago, sown.
It drank the air,
It quenched its soul.

The yellow being,
Slyly smiled.
Pride made way,
Into its whole flowery body.
It laughed at the trees,
Calling them short.
It mocked his siblings,
Telling them how they were just tiny dots.

Days passed,
The airy drink wore off.
The pride now gone,
It realised how vulnerable it was.
The other flowers,
They could cut its feet.

But they were creative,
They let it feel lonely,
And endlessly weep.

It shouted at the sky,
Blamed the sun.
It yearned to be small,
And be back on the earth.
But alas! He had to be punished,
And it stood there tall,
But, in the mind now small.

It waited to dry,
It waited to die.

Wonder
I wonder
If I have
Much time left
Wonder
I wonder
What happens
When you die
Wonder
I wonder
If this is
My last reprise
Wonder

only time will tell
how far you've come.
Only time will tell
How far you'll go.
Only time will tell
How much you've learned.
Only time will tell
How much you've grown.
Only time will tell
How much you've lived.
Only time will tell
When you'll die.
But since we don't know
What time will say,
Let's try to make the most
Of every day.

To find me and to be me
To die and to rebirth
To live and to die

In the field of all that got left behind

All that I give up
All that I dream
