Memories
Shimmering and twinkling
Stars, constellations
I stretch along the night sky
So i can remember
Everything about you
It has been seven years
And I still miss
Your smile

the stars seem to have aligned this time, perhaps the first
the odds are up and not against their favor, rewritten
the sky lights up, a whole canvas of black illuminated because of them, for them-

or so they thought

too oblivious
for not far long is a meteor shower
happens only once in who knows how long
twice if you’re fortunate;
they weren’t

and so all is meant for skyfall-
asteroids, meteorites, dusts, ashes; the galaxy
their fate’s scratched upon scattered in debris
nebulas forged with everything they’ve shared
plagued in bits, slowly ceasing their existence
strings pushed, pulled, tied together
weaving in constellations shaped in the glory of their names and being
should’ve, they should’ve known from the very start
should’ve known better

that the stars were never in their favor
just setting themselves up for a trap,
****** even when lifted to the celestial
they should’ve known
the moment they first started rotating in each other’s axis
stuck on a merciless gravitational force hurtling at such a speed
down

          down

                    downwards

crashing, ****** up by a black hole

-should’ve been contented seeing each other with astral projection

i can see the night on her skin
each freckle clustered
like constellations
scattered throughout her body
on the very dips of her hips
to the dimples on her back
a starry
starry night.

An existence quantified
in lowered eyes and
upside down pirouettes,
sighing with the stars
and dreaming of the hours
when gravity was forgiving
and the universe was
firmly right-side up.

Situated between the stars
A room filled with stardust
Fingertips caressing stars
Hands gripping constellations
You’re a galaxy inside a vessel
Im still wishing I could learn everything about your universe
Saudade: feeling of longing for something that you love and which is lost.

Orion's shoulder is dimmer now,
And I await a cosmic funeral;
For a beauty that is born of death,
And is every breath a miracle-
Delights me.

And Nature's diadem-
That I swear my allegiance to,
Thus makes me wonder

How in myriad flavors, comes beauty;
Like the sight of your love from afar,
The warmth of falling tears, the twinkle,
Or the death of a glorious star-
That once boldly shone;
But as a graveless corpse now rests

In the void, alone.

if you were a constellation
I would lay with my back pressed against the ice-cold grass to witness your miracle
she sees a shooting star, she wishes for love
I stand by the ghost-white evergreens
suddenly I don’t feel so big
the snow-coated mountain reigned over the land
but I, I can keep my own
I’ll follow you forever, don’t you worry
I’ll even follow you until the blisters on my tongue stop me from praying
through the monochromatic bliss of winter
the snow now silences the warm pulse of my heart beat
an arctic December, i’d expect nothing less
the ethereal skies scream of the unknown and the clouds yearn for me
suddenly I don’t feel so big

Look at her, still braving the tides
through hell and high water,
you won't hear her sighs
And though she is lonely,
she smiles as though the happiest,
of maidens and friends,
a façade; an ode to all the compliments

Days and nights, she hopes and longs
for a love deep enough to wander and hold
She tries, and tries, to see light in every encounter
How melancholic, she laughs without laughter

She makes it seem as though she is strong
but inside, she knows, it's a deep fall
To trust-  shatter, her heart amends
How lonely it is to long for something that bends

Look at her braving the tides,
her eyes that shine like the moonlight divine
A constellation of stars hidden in her mind
And though she seems to be standing still
Her heart, oh her heart, is breaking till.

I held wishes on your stories
Etched between the void and the sky
And hoped that even a glimpse
Of all your vastness and beauty
Can be reflected in me

Our love is like a constellation. You can see it in the sky. Look at the stars, watch it align. It’s something that is always easy to find. The capability of it transcending time the longer it sticks together it cannot be categorized as an imaginary outline.~

The pattern it takes has the celestial beings engraving it in galactic history. Tougher than Orion’s belt, holding more weight than the Big Dipper, souring higher in the sky than Aquila, and more ferocious than Leo.~

So, take a deep breath, let the cosmos in your soul burn. Let’s sit down on our front porch, extend our hands up towards the sky to draw out our stars that will forever align.~
