If I could choose a day in the year where everything went right
I would never choose
Zack Ripley Oct 2019
Life's not gonna wait for you.
So tell me, what are you waiting for?
If you want to chase your dreams,
Pick yourself up off the floor.
The frustration and fear bringing tears to your eyes
Will give you the strength to get what you want.
Just keep your eyes on the prize.
We've all got things we want to do
But let our heads fill with doubt
The trick is to listen to your heart and drown all the other voices out.
What you do with your time is something only you can choose.
But even if you fall, tell me what you have to lose.

I sit staring into the wind
With an empty mind
Clueless of what to think
Aimless of what to do .

This feeling troubles me
It vexes me .
I can't find the balance .

Can I do them together
Or do I have to choose
This can't be forever
Hell! What have I got to lose

The question isn't either this or that
The question, is can you bring them both under the same hat .

As I write this, I think I can
Well I have got to ,
For I am a man
Do I have to choose between my studies and poetry . I hope I find the right balance .

My life's in your hands
You believe what you will
choosing freedom and riches
Your hands not mine to wash

My life's in your hands
Born as servant, sold as slave
Gifted prisoner, unseen, unknown
My life not mine to choose

cause an effect to occur
there is not other time than now
think and choose and do

Love is a lifetime of examples of how we can overcome our fears, worries, and doubts

invisible but can be seen

Intangible but can be felt

And inaudible but you know it when you hear it.

At times it can seem to be extinct, and at others make you as euphoric,

In the end it is we who choose to let it see, feel, and hear our love, push it away, or accept it.
Love lost does t always mean you have no love

Our Thread is too short
So pick a needle
That can make blanket
When your summer is cold

Our thread is too short
So pick a needle
That lead our way to Lord,
When we are sightless

Our thread is too short
So Pick a needle
That can pierce every cloth
And hindrances that coming forth

Our thread is too short
don't pick me
If you're just
Going to make a
ball of thread for your dog
Some people are patrons
Of fast food and fries
And some folks are patrons
Of drama and spies

We choose with our dollars
And your choice is fine
I simply invite you...
Be a patron of mine

Just one dollar monthly
Will help us achieve
The spreading of truth
To help all receive

Each poem that is read
Shares comfort and light
Thoughts of Prosperity
Sparks in dark night

So tap on the button
One dollar is fine
My thanks flow right back
To those patrons of mine

This poem tells how we are all patrons of something.  We are patrons of whatever we spend our time and money on, and I so enjoy the great variety of interests in this wide world of people!  I'm always amazed when I find out about a new activity that millions of people are involved in, and I had never heard of it.  It's a big world.
