A deep laughter

Hiding in its seek

in the promise of relief

A ransom on the tongue
A letter in its memory

A piece in its own puzzle
clicking pictures into place
Filling up its belly
in the empty of its space

Will it die or will it live
Does it know it has the answer
to the question that it spins
Will it find its own perfection
in the matters it reflects
Adrift inside the memory bank

A way back

really are

I can beat me til I'm a scrambled mess
I can boil me til my inners melt
I can fry me til my skin thickens
Or I can simply turn into a chicken

A slow breath
is safe
in the body
and kind
to the heart
