sure she's likeheaven but angels stillfall sometimes the risk is worth it all. perfection or illusion what an enticing delusion nonetheless the question proves a fight do i potentially complicate her life further my thoughts reach oscillation certain until uncertainty's persuasion descends a thought like no other and soon follows another quickly they bounce through my mind now it's even harder to find a decision left between cognitive dissonance then suddenly in this instance Nothing.

Paths
I don't know what I'm doing I don't know what I'm feeling I don't know where I'm going I don't know who I'm being I'm overwhelmed, frustrated, I can't cope These are the slogans I repeat to myself Over and over again Oh yeah I'm a failure too I've lived this life What did I do? What do I have to show for it? These facts about myself are the one thing I'm very positive about. I repeat these slogans day in and day out always wondering what I'm so depressed about I bury my head in these sands Suffocating Smothering choking on anxiety in my own advertising slogans on my private airwaves To complicate matters worse just because we think something doesn't make it true that goes for self worth too. But Mindfulness stands watching the passing cars from a freeway overpass like our racing thoughts not holding on not making them go away, in peace simply letting them be.

Poor little octopus. Big head and eight tentacles but no ***** ***** or testicles. What's that, you say? Then how do these poor little cephalopods buck such terrible odds when they feel like a ****** agenda and they don't have any pudenda? Well, it's quite simple, really. He hands her ***** on a tentacle and what do you suppose? She says, thank you very much, and sticks it up her nose! Honest. No dinner first or shoulder massage, she just whacks it up her nasal passage. You can be quite sure this is an amazing olfactory aperture. So the moral is, don't complicate a simple process. When you're feeling frisky, *** need not be tricky. Just consider the inventiveness of the octopus with no ***** or a ******** Because it's the ingenuity of the octopus, not it's ****** act, that we should court. Compared to the octopus, the human nose is naught. It's too high up and tight for such naughty, wicked sport.   Also, such a human act is fraught with political incorrectness.   A gentleman who tries this little rort to get the girls to snort and says, up your nostril, madam, might all too well receive a rude retort. Or even worse! I say herein lies food for thought.                                                                                      Mike T Minehan

Octopussies
Could I complicate your breathing? Step into a room and steal your attention? Do you notice my eyes light up when your hands find me? You're so perfect and God it scares me. The deep sensation when you kiss me. Pulling me in. Feeling you all around me. Do you notice the smile that fills my face when you hold me tighter? So caught up in your embrace Please look a little harder. Find your worries disappear once you realize you are everything I never knew I wanted. Everything I have now, I refuse to take for granted.

To love. To be loved. To never forget your own insignificance. To never get used to the unspeakable violence and the ****** disparity of life around you. To seek joy in the saddest places. To pursue beauty to its lair. To never simplify what is complicated or complicate what is simple. To respect strength, never power. Above all, to watch. To try and understand. To never look away. Experience is the Angled Road
Silly, silly, silly me. To think I'm free, and that I'll be somebody? Silly, silly, silly me. You can't be free, and that's just it, All you are is 'somebody.' Some-body. "Some body." But that's not true! Look at Trostky and Lenin, Michael Myers and Lennon, The other Lennon. It's hard to differentiate in name and legacy, Because both Lennon's were revolutionaries, Marching around like the freshman from heaven. But neither believed they were the result of divine intervention in the affairs of man, Because this convention would threaten their worldview and beckon away their sanity... In the same way that the Pope or ****** let their divine vanity commit greater blasphemy and bring them future agony. Now neither Lennon nor Lenin came anywhere close to being men from Galilee, In fact they were more the men of the galaxy, Or at least, John was, with his peach fuzz beard and his belief that love is greater than fear. The other Lenin implemented the New Economic Policy, to starve the proletariat and start his revolution on an already hypocritical trend that would continue quite the same until the very end. And it proves something, does it not? Violence sends a message to no one but the instigator, Changing them to justify, and claim is wasn't misbehavior; But that's a lie, no idea of mine is worth the death of a human mind, And to pretend otherwise makes one delude themselves that they aren't an instigator, but an illustrator, Painting in the blood as if ****** makes an innovator. And for ****** there is no vindicator, Violence is an image breaker, Indulged in by poor imitators who think they're right, and the world is wrong. Unaware this makes them weak, not strong. Now John Lennon was the true revolutionary; Although he succumbed to violence, he veered away from it, even when it was necessary. He fought the war, and yes, the war did win, But at least he didn't cover his scars with artificial skin, Or deny his implicit wrongs as a result of all original sin. John Lennon used the word 'nigger' to the opposite effect. He used the word to trigger something bigger and correct, The wrong that seemed so propagated by the last colonial tide, Of which the other Lenin defected and took colonialism's side. John Lennon was Utopian and told us of a better world; He interjected definition, and caused old thoughts to curl away in fright, And bite the dust despite their might and past dominion of industrialism, It was a schism, and it still plagues us to this day. John Lennon understood we over-complicate way To Often. Silly, silly, silly me. To think I'm free, and that I'll be somebody? Silly, silly, silly me. You can't be free, and that's just it, All you are is 'somebody.' Some-body. "Some body." "Some body" is something, And some body can change the world.

Atoms circulate between the nuclei of touch Schrodinger’s laws exposing deceit and truth Lamenting in the protons, electrons, and neutrons Encircling the senses between the eyes and fingers Particles flow between the elements of breathing Of soul, of emotion, and memories worn thin In terminal velocities of thought and contemplation Barriers of consciousness and reality Molecules of intentions, intricate and delicate Bound together by ionic twists of fate And strained into bent bonds of insecurity Providing violent reactions of regrets Ions, formed in this union, complicate the formula Indifferent to the imbalance between the sighs Requiring the impact, to leave a free electron of motive Resulting in a positive change of heart and mind © 2014

Chemistry of Effect
Feelings are simple, there is no need to complicate things. People make them cryptic in effort of conveying them that sometimes they themselves too get lost in a repetition festival of superfluous words.

We all love to hate the things that hurt us To draw the line that divides the two Is like walking an invisible fence In the ocean where the waves rage and rush And we hate to love what cares for us Because we're scared to get wounds that won't mend When it's fear that will hurt us in the end And puncture us with an elephant tusk But what if we don't teach love or preach hate Instead, exemplify how to balance the two between two beams of blended light where they compliment and don't complicate, Perfectly mixed in a golden chalice Where a single sip can change someones life.

Italian Sonnet - Love/Hate
Away! the moor is dark beneath the moon, Rapid clouds have drunk the last pale beam of even: Away! the gathering winds will call the darkness soon, And profoundest midnight shroud the serene lights of heaven. Pause not! the time is past! Every voice cries, ‘Away!’ Tempt not with one last tear thy friend’s ungentle mood: Thy lover’s eye, so glazed and cold, dares not entreat thy stay: Duty and dereliction guide thee back to solitude. Away, away! to thy sad and silent home; Pour bitter tears on its desolated hearth; Watch the dim shades as like ghosts they go and come, And complicate strange webs of melancholy mirth. The leaves of wasted autumn woods shall float around thine head, The blooms of dewy Spring shall gleam beneath thy feet: But thy soul or this world must fade in the frost that binds the dead, Ere midnight’s frown and morning’s smile, ere thou and peace, may meet. The cloud shadows of midnight possess their own repose, For the weary winds are silent, or the moon is in the deep; Some respite to its turbulence unresting ocean knows; Whatever moves or toils or grieves hath its appointed sleep. Thou in the grave shalt rest:—yet, till the phantoms flee, Which that house and heath and garden made dear to thee erewhile, Thy remembrance and repentance and deep musings are not free From the music of two voices, and the light of one sweet smile.

Remorse
can I even complicate my continuum of thoughts? if so, will I ever be able to stop? If I dig deeper There's no air There's no warmth There's not a soul being in sight Oh, I'll drown won't I? Oh my mind It's ill-defined, hazey it's left me severed I'm sightless. did the unknown hinder a blind tragedy? They tell me, We can pretend for awhile So i'll pour the sea in my head, I'll make it full again. but my mind will only be under siege it's a temporary fix Like leaking my dreams with matchsticks can I even complicate the patterns that I inhale? such a strange feeling as if you can't grasp your mind when your psyche is flooded What is real? What is mine? To what extent is detachment twisted When you can no longer reach the surface ? I see an oceanic void where the only movements are the vibration of my bones not radiating in dance; they're shaking, shaking in this abyss

Save your sorry state of somber for someone who would bother to even lift finger for ya, tread lightly on the egg shells mixed with glass at you walk barefoot on the fragments of the past. Complicate your mind with your own lack of self control, bury your head deep in your somber little hole, Your pathetic, weak, with no self believe just rot away somewhere far so your god can't hear you weep, Sleep silently because your not much good alive, before reality wakes up and takes you inside.

London. January. 7:45pm A bench possessed by a single gem Thinking obsessing over a single thought. Of the last argument they ever fought. The saxophone player blowing his tune. His only audience the shining moon. Trying to earn some last needed dough Wondering why he even puts on this dumb show The other street acts already home Now he stands, alone. Southbank market nears to an end Time runs out between two friends. The spark has gone- the light is out Now every mind is filled with doubt. Her mind starts to wander as she contemplates On all the things she has to complicate A kiss, a hug, a humorous lie Did they even try? Her eyes start to fill with the water of a tear She fails to keep her mind clear. She stands up and leaves Walks away. She doesn’t know where she’s going Or why. Or how. Or how long she can postpone But she still walked. Alone.

London.
The things you're looking for are most often found hiding in plain sight In the dead of the night, when everything feels right who are you seeing when you close your eyes? I am lost in a moment I cannot describe I'm standing as tall as my heart let's me write Do not confuse blessings for an unwanted fight I simply am wishing the best for our unstructured lives. Have you ever been questioned... Have you ever asked why? Have you thought of solutions someones already tried? I'm telling you this power offers you something great. Would you like to partake? Sit with me, Don't complicate Life is too short to live so irate You are only allowed what you build or create.. So many opportunities are recklessly at stake..

Hiding in Plain Sight
What are you searching for at the bottom of that bottle? Any message to be found, I'm sure you swallowed long ago. I lose sight of you with every shot glass emptied. -watch as you grasp at the shadows of the charisma upon which you rely. You commit to the role of comedian perfectly; ironic Your wit dulled along with your senses. - like a court jester with no head to lose. But someone like you should never play the fool. "I love you's" mean less when tainted with tastes of whiskey. And I just want you to want me like I'm that last drop... I'm not asking you to let me be your sobriety. I understand dependency... I know I complicate recovery... with my red wines and reminiscing. - and I just want to clear your head like coffee beans... You tell me I'm intoxicating - and I don't know how to tell you I don't want to be just another drug.
