the daffodils hang low their heads
weighted down with snow
they shiver in the wintry winds
that 'round about them blow

they've been confused again
once more they've been perplexed
by March's sun and warmth one day
and change of heart the next!

The icy wind is
raging taking its anger
out on the poor trees

Snowflakes on windows
make a nice pattern like a
pretty net curtain

I can hear the wind
howling mad unable to
take a short breather

A little wagtail
hurried along path trying
to warm up it's feet

I love my Chalet
walls a soft grey against a
picture of home time

A Mother's Day pink
balloon shape like a heart dressed
in gold elegant print

My children so kind
All there hearts put together
Making me smile wide

Still floating from last
Sunday because love never
dies it floats always

The heaters give a
small warmth , me and dean had a
lovely big fry up

Mushrooms and omelette
Fried tomatoes and baked beans
Warm toast and coffee

Yes it a cold day
But our little square home gives
us enough happy

The grass has gone white
Maybe daylight as frozen
time upon earths ground

Seagulls fly in sky
Ignoring the nutty winds
I'm glad I'm indoors

where the kettle can
boil and the old cooker
can still cook up food

Even the ocean
is waving crazily , so
I waved back and smiled :)
Tis freezing today x

Her halos are created in silence
By his dark secrets and his dark passions
And in his chaos of thunder storms
She stands still
Like a fallen autumn leaf
In the cold waves and gusts of winds.

I saw a storm
brewing
I could have
easily stepped
over it

But the raging winds
the piercing rains
and you
were just too irrisitable
and the calm I was in
was too
stable

the creator of the horse.
the goddess of the sea.
the master of winds.
the commander of the breeze.
offspring of Epona, gilded and refined,
to protect the majesty of the divine.
Epona is the protector of the equine species in Gallo-Roman religion for those of you who don’t know :) and yes, I know Poseidon is the GOD of the Ocean but poetry can be fiction mind you!
last night's skirling winds
swirled with a forceful spin
trees were left bowing

I listened as the winds
whirled through
the window
and they whispered your name
and I began to wonder
what it would be like
to be wonderfully
in love
with you

Love is gentle. Love is quite,
Like any distant star.
Love is beauty. Love is music,
Soothing as night winds are.

Love is patient and unselfish
Divine, true, neutral, fair
Love is ageless and immortal
Lost love is just somewhere.

And the heart that love abandoned
Nurses a tender scar
Softly stabbing, and yet still sweetly soothing
Just like the night winds are.

A magical moonlight
gazing above the misty snow.
Every snowflake glistens
as it slowly falls below.

Slow, brisk winds
now misty and cold.
All fall colors are now
light silver and not gold.

Under the moon
everything is shiny and bright.
All glowing radiantly
on this cold winter's night.

color of the warmth
of the brushing of the leaves
crushing of harsh winds
blistering at your heart strings
as seasons consistently change
