he slowly approached life
who was shimmering with hope
he dared not to touch her,
for the fear, he will hurt the one he loved the most

but life saw the pain in his eyes
and decided not to care
as she held his hand and held it close
and death thought "life was indeed, unfair"

"Why are you doing this?"
he said with deep regret, in his voice
she looked at him lovingly as she caresses his face
"i felt, this was the right choice"

And right there and then, he watched life
as she started losing all her strength and glow
she weakly smiled. "I love you" she whispered
before she disappears, she wanted to let him know

Now death continues his journey
remembering life as his best memory
she taught him how unfair everything can be,
not even death, can predict what happens to thee

The sun stood high in a spotless blue sky,
the pool water cool on my skin;
your skin shone with sweat and I seemed to forget
the nightmare that I was trapped in.

That oh so cruel sun of Greece shone on,
never once thought to pause;
it looked down at us as your hands, oh so rough,
collided with my bruised jaw.

Summer went fleeting like every new beating,
it was over soon after begun;
you pulled on my hair and threw me into despair,
and the radio, carefree, played on.

...because today a nine-year old boy died while he was playing in his parents' garden.

I heard about it just now and therefore I am crying. It's so ******* disturbing.

May God bless his soul.

Please God, don't allow such tragedies to happen.

Please parents, watch your children.

Please children, take care of yourselves.
Please neither heart nor like this text, which isn't meant to be a poem.

Just say a prayer for the boy and his family instead.

Thank you.

Life is precious. It should be appreciated.

Slipping inside...

I let the water wash over me

Scalding and steaming

I feel myself melt in the heat

Sliding down into the water

Crawling over my head

The world around me drowns

I do not hear the door creak open and shut

I do not hear the distant cough

It rings through the halls like a bell

Tolling death

Sink further in

Into the dark warm waters

So that my tears mix inside

Spoiling the fresh water with the bitter salt of sadness

Even under here

I can hear the ringing

This is how I disappear

Death's warm embrace comes for me

Deep in the water

In times of war's end, the soul always bled
And cried for hundred and thousands of times
But it wasn't merely mourning for all the dead
It mourned the guilt of being the only one alive
(The number signifies my one stanza poems)

There was this silence, this empty little silence
Offering two of its very existence:
Peacefully sweet for a confused mind,
Deafeningly loud like a depressing bind
(The number signifies my one stanza poems)

Let it rot we said
In the yards of untapped dreams
Crushed cars
Broken plates
The stench of rot
We let ourselves breath in decay
Burn it we said
Letting poison fly into flames
Breathing in the deadly ash
Choking out life
Because we could not see
We are creating our own demise
As we choke out our own lives
But that isn’t enough for us
We let others suffer
Choke on our smoke
Suffocate in our ash
Left to rot and waste away
Business as usual
But this business is unusual

Crimson God of love, tanning in the pale Moonlight, made my mind split asunder, when you and I locked eyes.

Doomed was I just then, writing love letters hastily with my pen, surrendering to the divinity whose lips tasted like the wine of ancient rome, and whose flowered ribcage became my very home.
Quite frankly I'm very new to the rhyming in regards to my poetry, but I'm not too mad about it. Yet.

It felt like falling into a deep pit
An endless fall; an empty beat
Deep and hollow into that darkness
Exhausted; my soul only wants rest
a stanza of tiredness... (The number will signify my short poems lol)

you are the monsoon that suddenly left after causing a flood in a village called I.
Yeah, unrequited.
