milky way a spot
in the span of the
universe
resting in the hands of
our creator
to be nursed

web of stars spread
generously abroad
could creatures born
into this world
ever become bored?

from the heavens'
full perspective
this planet is oh-so small
though for us humans
who live on it
it is a mega ball

the architect
of everything
looks after heaven and earth
his gentle love so evident
how could I not thank him
for my birth?

Like a clever fearless fairy exploring
She is the bit of magic on an otherwise static planet.

Dancing the swelled
waves of the deep,
swimming clouds
leap out to reach
over the sunny sky.

Blow out a cool kiss
on the bank of the
blue Ganges of the skies.
The lips that kiss the bottomline
play the flute.
Listen, singing chorus rains down,
bouncing back to earth
the only open-through planet!

My kind moon planet earth
you came here first!

Before the blue yonder
before any giant sky
you set your foot first!

You whisper to everyone
in one’s mother tongue.
So the man descended
from Heaven to Earth
without losing the rope
without the fear!

A rock spins inside a world
too large for us to see.

On it is many creatures,
including you and me.

We've never known what it's like
to live on another rock.

It seems to me that somehow
we have found the best spot.

We weren't the ones who found this speck
of the universe, which we dwell.

It was something else that put us here.
It's not very hard to tell.

Our creator knew this precious rock
was specially reserved for us.

From his playful heart of love,
he built it as our flying bus.

I swirled coffee with a red straw
Thinking what I should do today
Feeling a little useless
Wishing I was able to travel far away

Think this is a hopeless dream
I yearn for all the time
But I still have not reached my goal
Mountain only grows harder to climb

It was someone I loved who once told me
"Good things come to those who wait"
But I badly want to see the world
I know one day it will be too late
The world is a book, and those who do not travel read only a page

and there was a steed from me
the horse is huge
like the moon
the moon is very similar

and here we are the moon
full moon
put forward
a great way

and here we went on the boulevards
on beautiful roads
and poetry to each other
read

how wonderful those moments were
how saturated they were
now this horse is gone
she disappeared

she went into space
she forgot me and this planet
she went to the stars
went to the ghosts of the night

Life and love and death and birth
And peace
And love
On the planet earth
   Is there anything that's worth
More than
Peace
And love
On the planet earth
Mi, fa mi mi, fa mi ti la

I am an alien.
A being from another race.
You are not alone in the universe.
I've been sending signals toward your star cluster
For billions of years
Into the vacuum of space
With no response.
You are not alone in the universe.
There is so much possibility of knowledge.
Understanding.

We're just lonely vessels
floating around each other like planets and moons and
we don't ever get to know each other
we send out explorers and land on the surface for a while
take first steps and last steps and leave footprints in the dirt or sand or snow or whatever our planets are made of
but the heaving cacophony of sound and color and blinding light that resides inside
all of that remains hidden
because if an explorer got close enough, if they dived deep enough into our oceans
if they rappelled down our steep canyons
it would destroy them, they would destroy us
