eternity
a mystery
opposite of history

future mankind
past left behind

whole new world
story untold

evil slayed
humans free

noone afraid
not you, not me

looking there now
I can see

everything how
it's meant to be!

“Oh God, You're a poet
And I, I was Your blank page,
Rather the blank page of a poet,
Than the blank page of man

Rather the blank page of someone who already envisioned me as a masterpiece,
Than the blank page of man

Yes, even before He poured out His ink heart on me,
He saw me, with all the hidden words that were scribbled across me
All the fears, hopes, dreams and wishes inked so wildly
Oh man, I was His pièce de résistance

Last night I was staring at this blank page,
But little did I know that it was staring at me,
Waiting for me to turn it into a written work of art
And just then I realized, I was staring at my reflection

This revelation brought clarity to every blank page on Earth
Oh God, we are Your work of art” - Demi.M Potts

You say
that you're hurt.
That you seek
a fair choice.
Dear one,
even a flower wilts.
When the sun undresses it,
desperate for the maniacal love making;
and the bees **** the honey.
The petals turn dry
when the nectar leaves.
And so it rests on the ground.
Open and wasted;
thus enjoys an eternal sleep.

A Strange Man from a Far Distant Star.

A strange man from a far distant star;
Comes to teach us, to show us the future.
To show us a new direction, a new path to follow;
To stop us becoming, our own killer.

The future is orange, in this ungodly land;
The fire burns brightly, for this galactic traveller.
We must all learn, how to understand;
The message he left, which could change our future.
We must help him return, to the planet he left;
To let him show us the things, that are buried in our heads.

This psychedelic spaceman, with his orange platform boots;
Travelled to the moon and beyond, fighting aliens and fixing robots.
His special silver suit and his shades made him cool;
He's got some moon dust for his baby
And a piece of rock from Mars for her school.

Untouched land, heading back to his land.
From a forgotten traveler; from a psychedelic spaceman.
From the strangest of strangers, here comes the man from Obsidium,
With his tin *** space rocket, which runs on petroleum.

The spaceman's here, to show us the way;
To travel the stars, using his galactic space map.
One step for mankind, that was taken by a monkey;
Has let him take us to the stars, but he's never coming back.

This journey is one way, the destination is Obsidium;
He will bring us into contact with his peers and all sorts of aliens.
We can bounce on the moon, with a lack of gravity;
Finding new alien species, on the volcanoes of Mars.
This adventure will be joyous, with occasional tragedy;
But our mission will lead us, to travel to new stars.

The first question he asked was who will win the Human race?
And do you think Linford Christie, would win Britain first place?
Or would a pioneer win it, so they could claim it?
Like they claimed the native America; I guess they'd just steal it.

Then he said "Come with me and I'll open your minds;
Show you Jupiter, Venus and Pluto’s endless mines.
We can leave this place called Earth and explore a new galaxy;
We can race a shooting star, we can do anything.
But you must give up this life that you take for granted
And beam up with me, into my funky spaceship.”

Let me caress your every sinew
I do not care if you've been used
for many men know the temple of God
but few on holy ground have trod
her birthplace that is creation
yet they treat you with predation
a child that sleeps within your womb
soon your bed will be their tomb
the years of men will surely pass
upon your head I count the grass
they outnumber thee ten fold to one
and yet their bud is still but young
our age is like a moth at night
that travels towards the sacred light
and is extinguished by the flame
Will you remember my name?
your favoured son
Will you forgive the things I've done?
or another knot in the tree become

In this ancient hotel,
one of the children
led them all to hell.

With love, we fled,
but still with us
he was tightly bound.

Through the blizzard
we drove to escape,
but still with us, he was.

Our sight was infected
by an evil of ours
we could not accept.

Till buried in snow,
breath from us gone,
as the poor thing.

But no, not gone.
Never will leave.
Where now to turn?

For love to melt
our new prison,
we must die.

And what we were
must be forgotten,
to become something even greater.

No, not forgotten,
but a lesson remembered
and passed on.

That pitiful child,
how despicable he was,
how cruel and malign.

If he could melt the ice,
if he could right the wrong,
would be the greatest miracle of all.
Immediately after posting "Embrace", my wife was struck with a nightmare. They are rare for her, and it seemed to deliver a message of an evil child who was bound in our car, with which we drove through a blizzard. A disembodied voice whispered, "He's already *******." Whether true or all in my head, it seemed to directly respond to my own thoughts and the poem I'd written.

After pondering this situation, I quickly wrote "The Greatest Miracle", and this is closely tied to the previous poem. I didn't revise this poem at all, preferring to leave it in this raw form from some kind of inspiration. Life is certainly mysterious, and love is powerful. Could it be true?

Monkey Monkey : Part Two

Apes are our equals,
So set free our people!
Let them find the freedom they have never had.
Let them live once more in paradise.
Treat them as you would a man.

The chimpanzee is just like me.
I think I’m related to the monkey in this theory.
So set the Baboon free!
Plant a tree!

Build a home and tear down your zoo.
Let my people be with their own;
Not just here to entertain you.
The monkey mind is the equal of mine,
They have such ingenuity.
The monkey mind is free, compared to mine,
So set my people free!

Lock us up in your cages, or let us become free.
Let us be free to ***, wherever we please.
In this concrete jungle of yours, we can no longer await death.
We can no longer live here, in such a filthy mess.

Set the monkey free from captivity!
Let it do as it wishes and it will make itself happy.

Here comes the procession.
They march through streets muddied with rain.
They're lead by figures dressed in black.
People look on in fear at their raven masks.

The birth of the daughter was sad,
because there's a sickness that plagues this land.
It feeds on those doomed to a horrible fate.
Though they start out their lives in innocence.

No one knows when it will end,
how does death take one's hand?
Those figures dressed in black take off their masks,
to reveal humans who have been put to task.

But people move on and pretend,
that this plague does not prey upon them.
Only a certain few must suffer the memories,
and they'll question the silence of this land.

When a young man grows
And thinks not of of himself
He will find instead
Much thought
Of the framework which he can provide
The direction in which he will strive
And of the quality of those to reside alongside
Thoughts and how they grow and change over time. Becoming.
