I'll trade you

The warm breath of this night in June
To be replaced by the warming breath of you
Just below your fine and fearsome eyes
In such a heartbeat I could be satisfied
Instantly

I'll trade you
Sounds fair to me. Just an abundance of June nights. (;

They "One" My Pride
June is Pride month and they *won mine
I love each and everyone of you!

Quietly falling
Into the cavernous dark beneath the day...

With a lone ray of light
Dancing a jig to ignite the fly...

As the predator prowls
Through the underground forest, silently...

So also are my prayers answered
With a furious and foaming bite...

And the fight ensues from there
From there...

Reflections reflecting on repeating patterns
A symbol of limbo and curses ever after
From calling and crashing a story to tell
Of a boy who was trapped inside of a hell
But the hope seems to flicker and this day it did shine
His year would be something, one of a kind
And there would be good days and some gloomy ones too
But the boy found some wisdom and interests that grew
So that boy that would never see this circle ever end
Had to hope somewhat harder so maybe he'd win
Though that story is moving, the end is away
Taking Time on vacation, but will come someday
When it does we will wonder and ponder with fear
May that boy have his passions and years be endeared.

Patient poet, sing your heart
May some see or hear your spark
If they don't, at least you've sung
Release the stress for more to come
It never ends, that'd be a lie
So sing your heart, never be shy
But don't lose love, for those that pick
You may not be the favorite stick
But one day you may find yourself
A diamond under paint so thick
And dead some see you, a ghost in life
You'll come to be beyond the strife
So melodies your heart can bring
And in that will be perfect harmony.

Now that is character!
To encourage those qualities by her words
The very best of all time
The true story of whom won the age of twenty-one
Ooze character from every pore.
So magnificently exhibit loyalty, perseverance, and kindness
Not so much the men and women for their greatness
Best remembered are those who did not compromise
That fictional character that only the great know how to play
If you don't like them, I have others!
We usually talk about our feelings but how often do we talk about ourselves?

those were the days
when love sprung from the hearts of children
when love seemed so innocent
now it's a mere field so barren

you called me from afar
I came to you, no more than a lover
our hands met with tenderness
goodness, we weren't even 13 yet then

then springtime arrived
we went out feeling much more alive
our lips embraced each other quietly
as quiet as the love that bounded us then

now we are both twenty-three
spring means nothing more than collapsing trees
the warmth now feels hotter than ever
and what we seek in love is nothing more than peace

but then again
when night reaches its height
sometimes I still seek for you.
a melancholic man recalls his youth and spring during.

Twilight swallows fly gracefully across the golden sky

Spending time outdoors provides me with a natural high

The air slightly cools and I walk barefoot through the grass

I silently make a toast and raise my glass

Lightning bugs illuminate the river bank as the frogs sing their nightly tune

Pure joy is what I feel throughout the month of June
I love summertime in Michigan!
