I am sitting in my morning chair, drinking my morning tea, and I look out of the window.

I can appreciate a pale pink winter's morning - the delicate allure of pastel hues peeking through naked twigs of birch and oak drenched in dew.

I can appreciate the brisk and quick tail flicks of a fox in the cool mist, partaking in nature's scene alongside the robins and finches which twitter and sing.

I can appreciate an empty sky, wet with the steam of breath and the peace of air, left behind by the clouds of chatter and chaos from the exhaust of the day gone.

But what I appreciate most is that I am sitting in my morning chair, drinking my morning tea, and though this is a charming scene , there is a window pane between it and the comfort of me.
p.s. I'm on acid

I was hoping
To get a few words in
But it's okay, I'll keep them.
It is what it is,
And it was what it was,
But I guess we can keep pretending.

We'll keep living our lives,
We'll keep locking our eyes,
Too different and yet the same.
The reality's clear,
There's nothing happening here,
So why am I still wearing these chains?

I was hoping
To get a few words in
But it's okay, I'll keep them.
I won't rock the boat,
I'll try to let go of hope,
I'll find some water to make this flame dim.

I was hoping you'd always be mine,
But on second thought, nevermind.
I was hoping it would be you and I,
But on second thought, nevermind.

I was hoping
To get a few words in
But it's okay, I'll keep them.

The greatest mystery left unsolved
No science no logic knows
As the great mystery now unfolds
The phantom known as love

The children know it but can't prove
No one on earth could lose
The greatest cure for all men's ills
The phantom known as love

It's in our hearts and in our souls
But can't be touched or moved
It's there for all eternity
The phantom known as love

It's often said its all we need
And though that we cannot prove
Without it we are shadow beings
The phantom known as love

It is the key to happiness
It is a gift from above
It's been here longer than you know
The phantom known as love
It gets better, i promise it does,
It rises and falls, like the setting sun
Happiness accompanies sadness on most of the days,
But one without the other, is darkness, or rays.
It will get better, i promise you that,
you will soon feel three dimensional,
and no longer flat

It's gonna be okay, it's just rain.
Because i don't want to get wet.
I always keep dry under my umbrella.

I never thought,
That I'd feel things,
Things that come with the thought of you,
Things that don't feel like butterflies,
The usual.
Something in it reminds me of uncertainty,
fear.

Vulnerable and lost,
I seemed to be blind,
with his spirit aloft,
keeping me in bind.
At his words I laughed,
like his mate I was,
those scars that he carved,
with hearts that he toss.
A friend was all I asked,
and will be all I get,
with a smile I'll be masked,
and feelings that I'll forget.
Okay, this is pathetic.
The Day Of:
Dear diary,
She broke up with me..

2 Days Later:
Dear diary,
What kind of person can love you so much one day, and then be head over heels for another the next?

2 Months Later:
Dear diary,
I still love her.

2 Years Later:*
Dear diary,*
She still loves her.

Goodbye.
It’s time to cry.
Goodbye.
Now, I’ll die.

It’s time.
I shout to the sky.
It’s time.
To live this lie.

It’s time.
To move on and smile.
Goodbye.
I’ll miss you for a while.

Even with someone else at my side I still feel alone
Even with the caress of another person I still dont' feel loved
Maybe it's me , maybe I've just grown cold
Maybe it's you, maybe it's your beautiful face
I wish I could move on, I want to find someone else but your heart is magnet to mine.
If it was easy i would have pulled away a long time ago
