Dear future generations,

         I
               am
                         so
                                 sorry...

You will never know
The sweet freedom from technology
As you spend hours stargazing
During sweet summer nights.

You will know
Far more fear than I could imagine
From the hate, anger, and deceit
Todays generations have created.

You will never know
The feeling of pride as your parents
Watch you succeed at something so small
With no phone pressed in their hand.

You will know
Bone breaking anxiety; depression
From the relentless stress to be perfect
According to societies twisted image.

You will never know
The joy of spending countless hours of
Exploring the outside world with only the
Clothes on your back and a friend beside you.

You will know
A world of color, laughter, and friends,
All within a screen, but turn off you device;
Your world is empty; your life is in pixels.

I am like a void
An endless abyss
I try not to fall
But sometimes I miss
In the end
I am leaving you behind
And if I cross your mind
Please remember my friend
This was not your fault
So don't ever feel sad
I was a ticking time bomb
A great nomad
I wanted to explore
But not of this land
In the end
I was given life
But what I sought was certain death
This sounds more depressing than what I had intended.

Breathing,
Feeling,
Crushing weight of heartbreak healing.

I am walking,
I am singing;
I am living,
I am being.

It's raining sunshine;
I'm sweating ice.

The painter is blind,
The pianist is deaf,
The poet is illiterate.
You are inconsiderate.

At best.

-

I am walking.
Ten miles yesterday.
Talking
One hundred miles an hour, looking for a way-
Some way- to keep myself alive.

I am singing.
Bourbon fueled ballads of confusion
Not quite dancing, my body is swinging
In ways reminiscent of your delusion:
Somehow you thought you couldn't thrive.

I am living.
I am soaking up Earth.
I am forgiving
You for my hell. I am acknowledging your worth.
Not everything of me did you deprive.

I am being.
I am in the present
I am seeing
Clearly, we came and went.
Now, I still hope for your well being.

-

For your sun speckled eyes to shine down at someone, one day, you'll love.
For your violent mind, one day, to calm.
Your pressured heart; your unfinished art.

For your captive spirit to be free again.
For the wanderer inside you to be found again.

I picture
The mountaintops we threw our brains over
The cities I traced for you
The shoes you laced, the adversity we faced...

I still hope

You find those things one day
In your poor racked brain:
Turn them over,
Read the dates stamped on the back
like old Polaroids.
Letting them dance through your mind
Leaving imprints
Inspiring new bounds, new footprints.
I know this will never reach him, I know he will never see his name across this screen. He doesn't care about me anymore. I still hurt immensely, but last night I found- for the first time- I hoped he could be happy.

What is behind the golden gate?
Is it fluffy clouds
and nothing has hate?
Will my body stay six feet under?
Or is there a new land
without rain or thunder?
Will the darkness disappear?
Will the light of God
wash over me as deceased friends reappear?
Some say to live would be an awfully big adventure,
But when I pass, I can't wait to explore where I venture

Hold on to my palm,
And I'll sing you a warm psalm.

Take you away from the judging eyes,
And clear you from those painful cries.

My dear you have harnessed the majesty of perfect smile,
But your agony you carry can be seen from more than a mile.

Let me lift you up upon the air,
And soar upon the sky like doves in pair.

Let me shelter you from this unforgiving wind,
And embrace the stars together to our final end.

In mean time hold on to my palm for a voyage.
Because I want to share with you a time less age.
You won't know until you let your walls drop,
And then experience what maybe a time of your life,
Because sometimes it does take a leap of faith.

I like to
see the world
from different corners.
I like to discover
new streams of
thinking

watching
         the emptiness
listening to
          the silence
I like to walk
by myself
and explore
unknown
places
I like to
smell the
scents of wood
when no one
is watching
Through my thoughts

The  path, which I couldn't see
In the woods and near the sea
Tilted grass ever so green
Black damped and scented soil
Under the shade of the trees

Away from the gaze of the sun
But shinning in moon light
the path so close
Kept hiding from my sight

White flowers in the weeds
Leading to place never seen
Misleading Illusion to the eyes
Of the jungle, river and ice

Blue waters and crystal sky
Island of dreams, the other side
this world I did explore
when I took a step more

Do not fear the unknown in front of you,
But explore it's essence!

For fear is a blockage of progress,
And stoppers of growth.

One does not learn to swim in a whim,
But free fall with courage knowing it might be the last,
And come out stronger soaring in the wind.

One can only stay in the maze to die,
But find refuge by exploring the wilderness.

For the liars play their soft lyre to sooth you from the truth,
Like Sirens charm their voices to men's demise.

Like Odysseus, be a nobody for the Cyclopes,
But come out as a victor of his kingdom!

For risking nothing will get you nothing,
But find courage to voyage to unknown,
And be a champion of unraveling!
The greatest fear shouldn't be getting lost in this world, but be fearful of living in confined comfort of your vault!
