Brick walls are incredible structures
The builder must realize the need for the wall,
then for many days must painstakingly
place mortar between bricks.
They must build with intention.
If not, it is no longer a wall
it will be left to decay in the rain.
However,
once finished it will stand strong against the weather,
impede prying eyes and thieves,
dissuade creatures and man alike,

The nature of the brick wall is this:
It only takes a single person
willing enough to remove that brick,
to break the mortar and push the brick through.
Their motivation
does not matter
so long as they find the reason for it being built.

Writer's block is like a white stone wall.
Every failed poem in the trashcan is like a brick.
Soon, I'll have enough to rebuild the great wall of China,
and the garbage man will know
many trees have died for my poetry.
Take heed, only you can prevent forest fires.
So, why not have fun with writers block if it breaks writers block.

The wall that was a stoner,
It was always very high,
Everyday it felt it could get
Higher,
******,
Chipped
Looks, rough around the edges
Quite a scruffy looking wall,
It was bricking it once,
As it thought it was moving
But that was the clouds passing by.
The wall always felt used,
People,
Walking,
Over,
It all of the time,
Some even hit it,
"***** were always soar"
The wall was a stoner
Bricks,
Mortar,
&
More,
It was a high wall, because its days
Were still, it couldn't be **anything more..

"Nobody loves me."
My lovely
Don't lie to yourself
It won't help you
And if you truly
Actually
Believe that
Nobody loves you
I don't know
What you think I am
A brick?

A hidden hole
With money
Made of loose change

A hidden hole
Full with water
Made of rain and dirt

A hidden hole
Long forgotten
Like a childhood memory

A hidden hole
Made with brick
And a bucket so far down
You can't see the bottom

My heart was an abandoned animal,
and your mouth was an umbrella
that dissipated any storm
ready to shake and rattle the soul
that I built as a home within myself.

You shielded my heart as best as you knew how.

Too bad that the lightning of your words
combined with the thunder of the storms
tore apart your umbrella and electrocuted
any hopes that remained for my heavy heart.

Maybe someday you'll see that the temporary
home you had been was never going to be built out
of brick, and one day would fall to the ground
without so much as a word or last breath.

I'm sick and tired of society
I wanna fly
But people cut my wings
I wanna scream
But people take my voice away
I wanna write
But people mow my hands
I wanna walk
But people chain me to the wall

Society makes me equal
When I realise
I'm just another brick in the wall

A year it has been
A year it has taken me
To reconstruct this wall
Even higher than before.
In one night it has taken you
No more than a smile
To send me back to work
Brick by brick.
How do you do it every time..

This is a message to all the ones
who find themselves alone in
their rooms on a Friday night.

I know downstairs is not the same-
different rooms, different pains.
Believers saying this is a good life.
A good good good good life.

Sister is telling you you're
too young to understand-
that you don't know what you're saying.

Mommy and Daddy are separated
into different rooms and they're telling you:
"Baby, nothing is broken. Wipe away those tears."
Wipe it away. Fade away. Forget it.

They are Oblivion.
From the bottom to the roof,
brick by brick living in
Oblivion.
Don't be afraid of the truth. Let the truth be afraid of you.
