It's there
Always been there
But it's far
I've been crawling

I scream for help
They look at me strange
I cry... and I cry hard
They collect the tears

I'm sick of these
I don't want to be here
I want to go
I need to go far

It's binding me
It's imprisoning
I's tiring
Help me
You and I are like the ends
of shoelaces.

Twisting and dancing
on the surfaces we know.

Sometimes our paths will cross
and one might seem higher
than the other.

Things always come around
as life leaves us the holes
to fit through.

This far into our journey
we seem so far apart.

Our dance through life will see
us collide together and
let the knot be tied at last.

I may end up on your side
and you upon mine,
but that is how two crossed threads
seem to wind up when they return
again as one.

Bleed into me with your all;
You're already alive within my bloodstream
Let's bleed together to check that we're not hollow and cut our palms and lace our fingers and blood as we bind ourselves into each other.

With control, I bind my ribcage tighter and tighter
Because if I don't lace up
My porcelain-bone corset
Tight enough
They will reach in
And grab my heart.
I don't build walls but

To break free
That is commonly said
For things such as cages and chains

Though there exist
The chain that binds
For things such as relationships

The dog that is bound
To a leash and tree
Seeks the pleasure to be free
But there are dogs
Happy to be leashed
As they are well fed and safe by the tree

So do we break
Or keep the sake
Of the chains that bind, we

The day is done,
The night has won,
The wind howls,
And the cold growls,
Loneliness creeps on and I have no one to lean on.
The past comes back to mind,
And I’m convinced I will never break its bind.

Wearing the gown you have chosen for me
I walked through the aisle with this pink bouquet
A smile painted in me with sparks of  love
Now I'm going to forget yesterday

You welcomed me with your arms open wide
You held my hand and let me wear the ring
We gave our vow then the kiss, as a seal
We heard our heartbeats like the songs we sing

The people's joy and the greetings they gave
As endless as the love that you recite
We entered our room to complete our bind
To wait for another dream for a night.
Fallacy, a deceptive, misleading, notion, of 2.4 kids and parents
Atrophy of the idea Family
Majestic man and wife, mother and father together
Infallible,infinite,until divorce
Liberal, loving, lying, until divorce
Yearning for truth in a world of lies

Theatrically monopolised by ad execs the concept of family
Inception of children, duty done
Eternally bound by DNA if not love
S**iblings, searching for a childhood that doesn't exist
