I was born into the human race,
With an astral purpose

I gaze upon the stars, I am found,
Yet the distance, immeasurable

I am the celestial winds,
The mystery within the darkness

I am a sentient being,
But not of earth

I name this planet home,
It does not feel this way

I miss my home,
My world I've never seen

I feel it drawing me away,
I see it, I touch it, it is within me

How will I reach it?
Maybe through death
Maybe through love
Maybe through compassion

But my oath is simple,
I will return once again, to me

If you meet me by the lake,
Don't worry if it's a mistake
Look at all the things we could create
Over here by this lake.

If you're looking for the tree,
That's where you'll find me
That's where you become free.
Us, just sitting in a tree.

You could push me on the swing,
Look at all the joy that'd bring.
You're not thinking about anything,
Swinging on the green.

If you could manage to find hole #6.
That's where all of this exists.
It's in our minds, it's not myth.
Dreams of hole #6.
golf course.

A distant shrill of
Grinding gears
Sends chills throughout
The twentieth century's
Siren song.

The suited men
With crooked smirks
File in line to be
The first to eat
From concrete ****.

They tear
And they tear
And they tear
Clawing at nature's green
Humming as droning bees
Waking birds from their falling trees
They will be the first to eat.

Stripped lies mother earth
In a ****** heap
The end will be digitized

I've begun to blink
My vision falling into place
I've begun to think
These vultures defiled ancient peace

How can I?
How can they?
How can we?

My newly
Formed
Vision
Walks in
The sight
The plane of life
Betrayed by
It's own creation.

Humans are the plague.

there's a certain beauty in the unknown.
a certain beauty in not knowing if
you're as crazy about me as i am about you.

there's a certain beauty in knowing that
my heart is ******* in such a knot that even
a seasoned boy-scout would cringe at the sight of it,
all because of you.

so many nights i have spent looking at the moon,
hoping you were doing the same.

and oh-so many nights have been spent swallowing
pills with various numbers inscribed on their very surface,
just to try to forget about your absence.

but the thing about the unknown and drugs and the moon
is that none of them can even come close to the beauty
that you possess.

I stumbled into a world
where good vs. evil was routine;
where cards were alive, cats talked,
and a strange man asked me to tea.

I was young and forgetful,
the memory faded away
then one day I fell again
chasing a rabbit with a familiar face.

I was confused
my destiny once again unclear
a peculiar catterpillar
told me what was to appear.

If I shall fall again,
and be given another test
I hope the question is
"how is a raven like a writing desk?"

Your are the beautification of love,
that has been held as a prisoner, of war.
The war of life.. The fight..we fight inside
inside of ourselves..with ourselves,
to learn to love ourselves
so we can love someone else
right at least, so we can be at peace..
At night as we sleep,
And give God our souls to keep,
but your heart.. Its safe with me.
