conflict is a woman
I can’t stay faithful to.
She makes a home in my eyes
wrapping herself in the lies that
lay crumpled on silk sheets.
Truth over harmony is the poem
she hums to me
yet
I still run to sing melodies
in the other beds I’ve made.

The things I'm told
I do not know
They once were clear
But now I question them with desperation
Is this real?
Is this truth?
Of course this is reality he says
Behold
This is truth
There's no being misled
Why would someone deceive you just to get ahead?
Or is it...
Just to get IN your head?
My mind is fine
I know to believe the things I've been told
No need to question what he's said
I go ahead and trust with conviction
I tell you no lies...
Brain squeaks a bit here
I'm filled with fear
Is that truth or am i mistaken?
Did that really happen?
I hear these words that now make no sense
These stories that don't add up
They just don't make sense
Are they jumbled in my mind?
Or is everything just fine?
Am I going crazy?
I'm not sure
Am I?

Smoke fills my lungs as I walk down this lonely path,
where I was going… no one knows,

“Oh fur so white, so bright, so bright,”
“What?”
I would simply say and walk away into the unknowingness left of yesterday.

“Oh eyes so light, so white, so white,”
“What?”

I scrambled to catch my breath, not pausing to see what was left.
But down this uncharted path, unbeknown to the lost sheep,
was the wrath of the eyes lurking throughout wilderness,
longing to covet her wool all to themselves….

Waiting for one misstep into the cool morning light to trample upon the lost sheep at last.

you'd be PUT INto confinement
in a lunatic asylum
for posting a pic. some view as being spiteful
[for some info, check the notes]
doing what Navalny
does, you'd pick up a fine in
the sum of a few tens of mills of rubles &, aside from
that, your bank account would wind up frozen
[not to mention later things happened to him]
that's that nutless power-overdosed fiend
being put out sim. to a bone when
you fell down during drunk strolling
better to block up your front door with
something, 'cause for some content getting posted
you'd get it chainsawed by ******* special forces
in the dead of night; after the unwanted guests have stormed in
you'd get toppled to the floor, then
you'd be submitted to beating
the whole picture's having your little kids screaming
then some of your stuff becomes forfeit
later, it turns out you're not the right person
they've left with your property stolen
that's the rotten syst. working
autocracy's growing

"get an axe, meet mountain guests".
People of the Caucasus - that's what thought those lead the case and taken the posted picture as offensive.
Moreover, the picture was posted by tens of other users, but those lead the case don't care about that fact.

Ils consomment des chiens chauds, hot dogs
Aussi
Comme vous
Mais ils ne mangent pas de chiens
Jamais, jamais

The world today is searching for the key
The future is held in the hands of the youth
Life is what we make it out to be

All of creation stems from one great tree
This we believe to be our truth
The world today is searching for the key

From the shackles that bind us, we are set free
Through joy and thanksgiving our souls are renewed
Life is what we make it out to be

Live your life with patience, perseverance, and purity
In all that you do, let love be imbued
The world today is searching for the key

Growing together from difference toward unity
Sometimes all we need is a new point of view
Life is what we make it out to be

Here we find a living of the highest quality
And from this point we can conclude:
The world today is searching for the key
Life is what we make it out to be
In the form of a Villanelle
The title of this poem is from an unknown wise man
Who said: ‘Today I voted, I did not vote for a person’
I love his honest and serious words. I love his wisdom
And I’m unequivocally proud to quote him
This genuine gentleman truly inspires me
His heartfelt message touches me deeply
Like him, yesterday, I voted for life and the future
I voted for equality and Mother Nature
I voted for values and decency
I voted for respect and dignity
I voted for fairness and equal opportunity
I voted for the rules of law and sanity
I voted for comprehension and transparency
I voted for a healthy and better economy
I voted for the truth and Social Security
I voted for money for the children and the elderly
I voted for safety and security
I voted for principles and a cease fire everywhere
I voted for over here and over there
I voted for tolerance and acceptance
I voted for harmony and common sense
I voted for patriotism and the Constitution
I voted for justice and reason
I voted for hope and chance for all
I voted for humanity to walk tall
I voted for compassion and love
I voted for the Spirit above
I voted for morality and peace
Everywhere, especially in the Middle East
And I voted against countless other things
As the lion roars, the rooster crows and sings
And the bell rings
I voted against disrespect and immortality
I voted against chaos and insanity
I voted against violence and poverty
I voted against bombing and killing babies
I voted against baseless rumors and disease
I voted against lies and dehumanization
I voted against hatred and discrimination
I voted against bias and repression
I voted against corruption and exclusion
I voted against deceit and exploitation
I voted against prejudice and marginalization
I voted against contempt and humiliation
I voted against betrayal and treason
I voted against fascism and racism
I voted against injustice and nepotism
I voted against police state and dictatorship
I voted against misery and hardship
Yesterday, I also voted for love, not hate
Yes, indeed, I voted for love, not hate
I did not vote for a person
I did not vote for a felon
Please hurry to vote, it’s not too late
Tuesday November 5th is around the corner
Make America friendlier and better
Thank you for the inspiration
I don’t know the identity of this wise man.

P.S. This poem is dedicated to this anonymous wise man
And to all the readers.

Please hurry up to vote.
Say it as it is
But don't make it bad, please!
Sprinkle some pretense
On filthy truths and common sense.

Reality as it is
Let us sugarcoat it, please!
Let us masquerade ourselves,
Pretend we have a chance.

If evil wears your name
And has got the hang of this game
Do I say it as it is
Or catch myself freeze.

I've seen the truth
And I've seen the youth
And I'll be ******
If I don't get to watch your end.
