Loveless Dec 2015
Prologue (goddess)
When the war of the beasts
Brings about the world's end
The goddess descends from the sky
Wings of light and dark spread afar
She guides us to bliss
Her gift everlasting

Act 1 (the wanderer)
Infinite in mystery
Is the gift of the goddess
We seek it thus
And take it to the sky
Ripples form on the water's surface
The wandering soul
Knows no rest

Act 2 (the hero)
There is no hate only joy
For you are beloved
By the goddess
Hero of the dawn
Healer of worlds
Dreams of morrow
Hath the shattered soul
Pride is lost
Wings stripped away
The end is nigh

Act 3 (the abhorred)
My friend, do you fly away now
To the world that abhors you and I
All that awaits you
Is a somber morrow
No matter where the winds may blow
My friend your desire is the bringer of life
The gift of the goddess
Even if the morrow is barren of promises
Nothing shall forestall my return

Act 4 (the avenger)
My friend, the fates are cruel
There are no dreams
No honour remains
The arrow has left
The bow of the goddess
My soul corrupted by vengeance
Hath endured torment
To find the end of the journey
In my own salvation
And your eternal slumber
Legends shall speak
Of sacrifice at world's end
The winds sail over the waters surface
Quietly but surely

Act 5 (the sacrifiser)
Even if the morrow
Is barren of promises
Nothing shall forestall my return
To become the dew
That clenches the land
To spare the sands
The seas and the sky
I offer thee this silent sacrifice
Full poem at once
And a simple interpretation of mine

Each act is spoken by different people of the story
The story;
There were three friends -"the beasts" as the poem says
One becomes the prisoner - the avenger, the evil
One flies away - the wanderer in the poem, the abhorred
The left one becomes the hero - the hero, the sacrificer
The hero sacrificed himself at the call of the goddess

For the avenger, goddesss is the evil, gift is the power
For the wanderer and abhorred, goddess is the goodness, gift is life and light
For the hero goddess is his lover and gift is the Love

But at the end of the tale, the hero dies making a promise of return and so the title is loveless

Each part have various interpretation
My interpretation

It is your fate
Your dreams and pride are no more
From the Goddess's bow, the fated arrow is released
Revenge has scarred my soul
Agonizing for its end my wish becomes my relief
And my peaceful slumber
Your story shall be told
Like the wind that blows over the secret water surface
Gently and certainly

You will take flight
Even if the world hates us so
A painful tomorrow is all that waits for you
The twirling winds of fate will not stop their flow
Pride Ed Dec 2015
but I’m just buckshot
caught in a sonnet,
and there’s just too many
shotgun shells
in my diction.

There’s gangrene
in my carrion verses;
each word, a gaping
wound of its own
shrapnel design,
****-filled and leaking

through wrinkled
notebook paper.

A putrid smell instead of
cheap perfume lingers
on sealed envelopes, —
dried blood
in lieu of a wax seal...

waiting to be opened,
and pressed to a numb chest,

where the infection
can spread again,
and again.

Third part of the poem Loveless

Each part have various interpretations
My interpretation

There is no hate only joy because
Generously you are blessed
With the love of the Goddess
You are the hero of light
Healer of rifts in world
My wish for tomorrow
Shall shatter my soul
For the price of my pride
Wings are torn apart
Flight is no more
And so our end is near

Upon peeling sheer layers
of ivory flesh
you will find that bones
do not reside.
I have been battered too far
to hold structure.

Fragments may remain,
mend them if you'd like,
although they wont fit right-
see they shall snap,
diffuse into black water blood
receding beneath the surface,
engulfed, once again.

The good die young,
which solves why breath still
twists from my lips,
and is an elegant excuse
to smother my vices.
raunchy palms dwell untouched-
long forgotten the feeling that comes
with passion, yearning,
to press still against anothers.

Kiss me tenderly but do not panic
when I rupture into celestial grime
and dissipate into the sky,
for I am returning home,
where I belong,
solo in the void.

The second part of the poem LOVELESS
My interpretation
The gift of the goddess
Is mysterious
In pursuit of this gift
We take the flight
Within the core of the heart
A hopeless wanderer flow
Like ripples to waves
Come forth the dreams below

The first part the six part poem Loveless

The end of the world is brought by duel of the beasts
For me the world is my body
The beasts within me
One evil is one good
From the sky a goddess will fall
With her wings, one light one dark
She would take us to heaven
Along with her gift

NeroameeAlucard Dec 2015
If i still had passion id spend more than a healthy amount of time trying to figure the possibility of us out
but that dream was doused by the water of doubt

If a fire was still in my soul i would throw myself into loving you every second of every day
but sadly the flame has flickered out, my hearts been suffering a long winded. seemingly endless drought.

-Noir
This little tidbit of poetry is the debut of a character i'd come up with. His name is noir because he only seems to see the world in different shades of grey, as opposed to the colorful symphony it truly is. He's also depressing as *****
Sad Girl Dec 2015
I remember breaking down at 3am screaming "He'll never love me when I'm happy"
I guess even then in my lowest moment I really knew the truth - you only wanted to fix me
