The way you touch me
I want to cry
a gentle, comforting hug
as we whisper our goodbyes

and the way you look at me
its as if
we are your favourite song
and I'm the melody

when I'm around you I feel okay
like happy isn't a part
I need to play
but a part of me and I have to say,
I love it.

every time we hug
I swear I can feel every broken piece of me
being put back all snug
and in that moment I know
that I can love.
This is no longer applicable to the person it’s about but I will not remove it or be ashamed of it or regret it. I did feel this at one time. And I’m proud that I got to feel it.

I'm falling, feeling, spinning,
Just out of arm's reach,
The sharp abyss seems to muffle
My frightened dismal screech.

Don't jump down for me,
I am not worthy to save,
For what else is as shallow
As my predestined grave?

Don't present me with a chance,
It is almost too late,
Please leave me with my thoughts,
I can handle fate.

Don't even try to fix me,
I am not worth your time,
The pit I am descending is
A long way back up to climb.
I wish everyone would stay away so they dont get hurt

i dont feel like
jumping in front of cars
anymore, at least not
yet, i put my
flaws on hold
to feel 15 again.

i go for a
walk along a
path ive taken
before, many
times even.
i am new
but there is
old blood
in these veigns
that hide deep.

i dont feel like
jumping in front of cars
anymore. i still
remember the
thought, the feeling.
sometimes that can be
enough.

i am in debt to
peace and i owe it
more
than i have.
but its taken
too long to break
even. i scored
no points
and tied the game
still.

The church bells went for the last time in the day.
Bands played music in the streets.
The wanted man was running home.
Scaling the rooftops, he jumped from building, unawares of details as he evaded the cruel, corrupt cops that chased him down the long winding streets.
Eventually he stopped, seeing the distance between the pursuers.
Thats when he saw it.
The sky was a stunning shade of purple.
The peace that the set sun had brought about made him realize that it simply wasn't worth running anymore.
He stood on the ledge, getting ready for a leap of faith, when She stood by his side.
He reached home, he realized with a shock.
"Time to go?" She asks.
Her startlingly green eyes bore into his deep brown ones.
With a smile, he realized what she was asking.
Turning towards the sky, and glancing back at her, he figured.
There were worse ways to die.
He nodded.
And they jumped.
And they kept falling.
And they never stopped.
Turns out that was their punishment for their life's crimes.
But they didn't care.
They were dead.
But they were together.
And they were finally free.

Why does my heart trick me every time?
I always think the next guy is "the one"
I fall fast and hard, sure he is my soulmate,
But soon realize I once again jumped the gun
Just a little rhyme

Setting sun
Waning light
Pull the string on this bursting chest

Jump until it's perfectly timed
And fly
For just a moment in hanging past

Just have enough courage to go
Up, high up and
Make the final step
Plummeting down into oblivion.

Death would be so wellcoming
Opening its arms
Widely for me
Never letting me go.

I step onto the blacktop stage. Sun burning on my skin. People smile, people point. We're doing the Ice Cream Soda game.
"Ice cream soda,
Cherry on the top,
Who's your boyfriend/girlfriend
I forgot!"
The jump rope swung as my feet went into motion.
A, B C, D!
I was doing great.
E, F-
I looked at her.
She won't know.
I stop and people cry, people scream.
They think I like Jake but I like her.
