I have a heart of stone
I love you but I'm not in love with you

I adore the way you stare
But I can't be yours, no matter what you do

I see desperation
I see more than what you show

We could have been lovers
But in a different time, with our high and lows

You and me
We could mean something together

I don't want to lie to you
But I want to be lonely forever

I have been looking around
For my life to have an impact

If I wasn't down for darkness
I could have worshipped you infact

Though —no matter where you go
You'll always be mine

Even if I am not keeping you
You're my Norse realm, all nine

As I lay here watching you sleep
Looking so peaceful
All my mind can think of is how beautiful you are
When we get together it's nothing but fire and ice
I am fire
You are ice
We make an intriguing pair
I fight for the right to bare my soul to you
You fight to keep all these walls up
Don't you get it?
I am the one that is patient enough to break down your insecurities
and melt away all your fears
Shield you from all the pain
Sacrifice it all just for you to understand how strong our bond is
The power to sooth your aching heart and chip away at the walls you've grown so comfortably accustome to
But how can I?
When all you do is ice me out
With my bare hands I'll take it down brick by brick. That's how much you mean to me.

I can live without you.
In fact, I might be happy to
sit and eat ice-cream all alone,
whilst basking in a sunlit dawn-
a wonderland for one.

Some say the world will end in fire,
Some say in ice.

I say the world will end in a rush.
The moment you vanish in dash.

Pain a reminder of all I have lost
A thousand pieces of myself I cannot replace
In their place grows steady frost
Inside is ice and empty space
Sometimes it feeks like all the good parts of me have frozen and now I am numb and cold inside.

At once I was a man of steel
up there in the sky
Like a bird, I used to fly.
Beat me or hammer me
I did not care about anything.
That was my iron age when
first time I  saw Time mechine
and eventualy fell in love with her.
I drived  her like a crazy lover
and trveled time across.
I was in a time machine where no button of reverse.
when then i reached my bronze age,
I proposed her by a  key with copper ring.
She smiled and take me more backward in time.
I was in a time machine where no button of reverse.
When then i crossed my stone age
i left my heart there.
Then finally  i reached in my ice age
where no one is there.
Only me and my liquid smile, frozen in time.
Slowly slowly I am into glaciation
never would be able return.
I am in a time machine where no button of reverse.
In travel of time,
I am in a paradox dnt know
its my future or its my past!

Ice
I let myself melt for you
So you do not stay thirsty
And continue to live your life.

Look into my eyes, do you dare?
You will find your soul lay naked and bare.
Look beyond my intense stare, pierce through the persona I wear.

Tell me, are you scared?
As you are face to face with your greatest fear.

Beneath my storm, lies my darkest lair.
Here everything is black and nothing seems fair.

Tell me, do you dare?
Tell me, are you scared?

When I burn like the fiery sun,
Will you hold me close or will you run?

When I become as cold as ice.
Would you nurture me back to life?
Or, would you turn away with the tide?

When I let you into my watery sphere
And you see the pain which I never share.
Will you hold me and make me your own?
Or, will you tremble and run away in fear?

Tell me, my love,
Do you dare?
To pierce into my eyes
And see your soul lay naked and bare?

This is one of the first poems that I ever wrote in my life. I was 16 when I wrote this and didn't know where to publish it. I uploaded it on one my Facebook pages in 2014 and later in 2015, I uploaded it in writrerscafe.org. But, I deleted both. So, here I am now in Hello Poetry and this is the first poem I have to offer. It is pretty self-explanatory. To be honest, I find it a little bit childish now, I hope it is not too dark for you though. Happy reading!

What is life without ice cream,
          for with every spoonful
troubles melt, tears dry up.

No matter your tastes,
                ice-cream is life's
answer to every problem.

And all you need is a spoon
                                  or a fork,
some are freaky like that.
