Absent Smile Oct 2018
She fears that she'll drown in her tearstained diamonds,
or expose her rough skin to find no more vermilion rubies.
She becomes a ruined landscape as she
brushes the black jewels out of her matted hair,
even if her emerald eyes aren't tough enough to withstand that pain.

She dreads for the moment when the world
will not accept her own beauty.
Why can't she understand? Why can't she realise?
Though she holds the rare jewels of a king,
no one shall buy those cursed gems.
Thank you for reading!

surrendering to the angel you send in the night
tarnishing night with stars you set, of mementos, gems
sweetened into being by the heat of unknown
fun in the warning
sun in the worsening
need to see the warm winds
in your hair, see it myself
my vigil, diadem is a pen
decrees are on each page
that summer endings and I
lay down to
- it's dreaming
of the soul that holds my soul

Cliffside sunsets in the North Pacific's eyes-
Glistening glass beaches are formed with bottles and rolling tides-
Comfortable coves house today the stranger of guests-
My still life humanoid soft shell pest-
With pockets full of rocks that I have collected-
Smooth, heavy, and colors inspected-

Man, whoever finds me here unexpected-
My face towards the sun and my red pools collected-
Will honor my wishes and let me keep what I've selected-
To mingle with pores, a sediment element for a sedentary stationary-

To let a part of me be a part of it-
Roll with the tides and spread where I sit-
Die and dye where salted breeze blows-
Making blood stone pebbles for traveling flows.
I'm a dead guy enjoying the sunset.

We search hopelessly for the love of our life. Basic reality leaves us to compare in most of the choices that we make ,
Problem is we choose the things appealing to our eyes and leave the the rest alone
Perfect point to understand the worth of a gem, some cut and polished and shine like the sun but once touched by the hands of man the worth of the gem is less valuable in comparison to the love we find the value of a beaten soul that's been torn and hurt by another, when you see her bruised face you pass her by for she wasn't appealing to your eyes.
Have you ever inquired the behind the scenes of a gem at the glance of it when it's dug from the ground, beneath the dirt and mud tossed and turned and beaten by mother nature and her wrath, it's initial find much like the passing of the bruised , is tainted by this world we live , ever wondered in your closed mind the true value of it's worth   go beyond what appeals at your first glance , wipe the Earths  **** from the gem and shine it up now do the same for the person you passed that another person abused, take them in let their bruises heal get to know their true worth, for the next time you walk about on a life journey in search of a gem or true love , don't pick the ones that are so appealing to your eyes , dig through the rubbel or see through the bruises and there my friend is the finest most expensive beauty of a gem and the true love your in search of  to spend the rest of your life with.  Beauty is only skin deep but knowing what's beyond the skin and outer core of appeal is the find I would treasure much more than the fakeness of the appeal

A man is only as good as his word and with every book to get to the end you must start at the beginning , you will never know the book by judging what's on the cover just like you will never know the worth of the gem until you remove the tainted earth.  For the things we see on the outside may not be what they tell are on the inside

What do you put all your faith in?
When it all ends where do you begin?
Gotta live sometimes,
Don't let no one tells lies,
It's all in you.

Jump the gun with some brand new nikes,
Can't let this world ruin all of my psyche,
Can't let it run over my chakra,
The ripples keep calling,
Let nobody stop ya',

What do you put all your faith in?
When it all ends where do you begin?
Gotta live sometimes,
Don't let no one tells lies,

It's all in you.

Where do you find the light at?
When it all ends what can you take back?
The gem is in your eyes,
Can't handle all these lies,
I hope he comes through.

Fire in her viens
Longing in mine
Eyes of pale topaz
Steele emerald in mine

Ignite my soft soul
Burn away the
Emptiness
Kellin Feb 2018
Sunshine radites though her hair,
Soft moonlight liummantes through mine

Thus the moon chases after the sun

Eyes of steel emeralds,
And pale opals
The best perhaps ever mined

Blackbeards most precious find

Moonlight dances along her skin
And fire on mine.

I know a girl that piles on the necklaces
“Makes me look pretty,” she says
She’s all nervous, high-pitched laughter that jangles
as she fidgets with her armored collarbones

Rose red rashes bloom around ivory flesh,
She scratches at her skin inflamed
Ring ring ring around her pretty little neck
With those posey necklaces and gemstones

She smiles fondly at each reflection
of chains and rocks entangled
Wrung wrung wrung of beauty is she
Bitten so fiercely to her ivory bones

Her laughter hacks into little cough spurts,
and the metal winks dully as it strangles
Ring ring ring around her rosy little neck--
she piles on more necklaces.
I escape this cloud of destruction with a different aura--
one of ruby moods and sapphire disposition.

I shine into this new threshold with desperate hope
and a thirst for diamonds.

What will this new hell endure?

The fiery pits of fashion
or the comforting waves of idleness?

Whether the weather,
hot or icy
my weak determination lies in the false promise
of an improved destiny.
