Blue eyes always realize real lies.

Blue eyes only had hatred towards the world, emotionless and stone cold.

But one day, the blue eyes met the green.

For the Green eyes, they had early rainy forest grass with a mixture of the deep color green like the pine within them.

While the Blue eyes had stormy ocean waves and white foam flying in every direction.

The Green eyes saw the world differently, for they saw kindness in the world, happiness, and success.

The two different colored eyes were a no match, for they cannot be together because sadness and happiness were impossible to combine.

But since the Green eyes were an optimist they believed that it is possible to combine two emotions together.

The Blue eyes thought otherwise, as a pessimist they believed that it is impossible.

The Green eyes knew that they can calm down the Blue eyes, for they together finally combine, sadness with happiness, an optimist with a pessimist, hatred with success.

They together made an emerald-turquoise color.

Finally, at last, the ocean blue stormy eyes became calmer and as it became comfortable even more it became a steady ocean with no stormy waves, no black clouds hovering over and no flying foam, for it all disappeared and only that appeared was peace and quiet.
My first ever poem, if you liked it please tell me your thoughts.

Light green but, dark around the edges
Not emerald, more like nicely trimmed hedges
His least favorite, he preferred blue
But I can tell that it's different for you
Because I caught you once in a moment
You were kissing me with your eyes open

Feet floating six inches above the ground
A glockenspiel chorus of radiant talking
Have stumbled upon something I thought I had found
Under an emerald sky we are walking

A glockenspiel chorus of radiant talking
I am almost too awestruck to peer at the stars
Under an emerald sky we are walking
We love all of life, stretching off beyond Mars

I am almost too awestruck to peer at the stars
I know that this feeling can not last forever
We love all of life, stretching off beyond Mars
This memory, these people I promise I’ll treasure

I know that this feeling can not last forever
Have stumbled upon something I thought I had found
This memory, these people I promise I’ll treasure
Feet floating six inches above the ground

crystal holly Feb 2017
with water color ink
made permanent with a pin
an emerald garden grew
from the surface of her skin
the sight was divine
the branches aligned
& through the cracks
poured sunlight in.
the honeysuckles oozed
the hollyhocks seeped
as chartreuse hummingbirds
dank nectar through their beaks.
by her favorite birthmark
hanging from a tree
was a silver web of silk
gossamer and dazzling.
with each image set,
pressed onto her skin
her flesh turned bright red
like the rosehips near her ribs.

Our love is like the puzzle pieces
We bought when we were dating,
The ones that came without
The guiding box-top picture.

Day after day you hand
Me pieces of emerald green
Or royal blue.  Some days they're
Orange with a streak of white.

For years now I've been
Lining up the edges,
Linking one piece into another,
But the image remains fragmented.

Now here I am at the end
Of my life, pushing the
Final piece into place.
With tears filling my eyes,

I behold a photograph of you and I
Sitting on our front porch.
Our old, wrinkled hands clasped
As we watch the sprinkler

Move back and forth,
Laughing as our grandchildren
Leap through the streams
That shimmer in the sunset.
Inspired by, and dedicated to my wife.

At Vernal equinox, the Sun crosses
over the plane of the Earth’s equator
and equalises the night and the day.
Then will the Emerald Dragon awaken
from his hibernation beneath the earth.
Rising in the jade forests of Ghizhou,
this yin creature transforms the cold, dead land.
Primal and powerful, he gathers the Qi;
melts the mountain snows to ribbons of fire
igniting the frosty hillsides to growth,
fuses each thing with verdant energy,
revives again the seed, renews the bulb,
sprouting tender shoots juice-rich and sap-full
Shy blossoms set to bloom and burst with fruit
Fresh scented breezes ruffle foliage
maiden ferns shiver with their thrill and ******
Grasses and reeds bedewed and beryline,
murmuring and humming low and dulcet,
dancing and swaying at the river’s edge.
Roots of every tree draw deep from the earth
Magnolia and Frangipani breathe
and pant out fragrant honeyed lusciousness
Spring sparks and quickens, kicks and is alive.

Although not Spring here in the southern hemisphere until 1st September, my snowdrops are up and about (revved up, no doubt by global warming) so that is my sign Spring is near.

I have this vague vision of tangerines bleeding
into blue green skies.
Or maybe cat puke melding with the emerald
carpet beneath my feet.
Some sort of merging, colors, textures, clear and
pristine but elusive.
I have no idea what I'm going on about but I
know it is important.
College has broken me.
