Rough around the edges she's a ravenous piece,
Capturing light and reflecting elegance at every turn,
Raw to the core her wit is unmatched by trivial mineral composition,
She's a gemstone to cherish,
A glory to salute,
A sister worth a thousand leagues beyond that of this realm,
An emerald in our wake.

Emerald green eyes
Never tell lies
At birth crystallized
Mother Earth's satisfied

Forever attached to ones heart
Not controlling, but a partner
To guide you through this wild life
To hold your heart, yet not too tight

Emerald green
Not with envy
Green with love
And warming hugs

Embedded deep inside your soul
To lead you with it's ivy gold
To make your heart sweet and bold
Your blood is red, your heart's emerald

I'm lost in your eyes.
Shining beauty like gemstone.
Hearts entwined, always.

Eyes wide as space
staring into another face.
Believe me when I say
I've never felt another way
of entertaining eternity.
For I have come to a conclusion
I no longer believe in free fun.
You buy it in small doses
chew it up and swallow.
Come on jump down
from you throne
and buy another gemstone.

red robins play in
snow covered trees of
emerald, ruby ribbons
singing a song, whistling
their gemstone tune
