I've grown so numb
To pain, to love
Trying to find a way
From below to above

Detached from the world
Detached from myself
Is there anything of worth
In my little slice of hell

When I try to look up
It seems the same as down
My smile feels empty
Worse than a frown

This hole in me
I can't seem to fill
I can't see the way
I can find no will

The days keep passing
Darkness continues to fall
It seems like nothing
Will clear this dismal pall

There's a hole in me
That I can't seem to fill
Leaving me empty
Except for this bitter little pill

Change:
I hate this anxious feeling just before a change,
Hate to have this feeling when I feel overwhelmed and everything becomes hard to manage,
Heart beat runs faster than train,
this makes me feel so drain,
Man! Why it doesn't have a stop
just like a train?
It makes me feel dizzy,
when I try to control,
Makes me wonder
from where It comes,
all of sudden,
I lost in its thunder,
And it does rain,
When it makes me completely lose my brain.
Hate to have this feeling just before a change.

Kissin’ ’n’ buzzin’
by Michael R. Burch

Kissin’ ’n’ buzzin’
the bees rise
in a dizzy circle of two.
Oh, when I’m with you,
I feel like kissin’ ’n’ buzzin’ too!

If love is a chemical imbalance, I'll always be dizzy for you

I drink desperately
I take the bottle, the glass
And I pour.... and keep pouring
Because I’m running
I need to get away from myself
I want so far from my head
I drink fast and deep
I want to feel it now
Keep going to feel...
I just want alcohol in my veins
I don’t want to feel anything else
I wanna be dizzy
And just for once
I wanna be happy
Laughing at myself cause I almost repeated half the hashtags lolol I’m slightly past tipsy

I still get a little dizzy when u kiss me;
Like the world turns a little faster;
Tilts a little more on its axis -
As our lips touch.
So time for you
                           and time for me
passes slower.
As the rest of the world watches;
I am left feeling a little out of spin;
A little out of sync;
And a little more in love.
Yh I hate myself too #gross

You clog my lungs.
You make me stutter and choke.
You make me dizzy.

Still I bring you to my lips--
Again,
Again, and again.

You make me gasp.
You make me break form.
You make me laugh.

Still I inhale your sweet death--
Again,
Again, and again.

You dizzy me.
You intoxicate me.
You poison me.

Still I drink your sweet praise.

A silly thing like me shouldn't smoke,
But you are just so irresistible.

A fickle thing like me shouldn't drink,
But you are just so alluring.

A stupid thing like me shouldn't love,
But you are just so perfect.

So here I am:
Drunk, high, and stupidly in love with you.

I know I get quiet
I know you worry,
sometimes my words
get twisted and go unheard.
I try to speak my truth
but I forget how to understand,
how I feel.
in these moments
I just ask for some patience,
I'm trying my best
to help us both understand
myself.
I care so much
I lose my touch,
of stability and focus.
my brain needs time
to find its way back
to a straight line.
I was having lots of trouble speaking my mind. After sitting down and listening to my buzzing mind, I wrote to the best of my ability.

Dizzy head woke up today,
He's spinning the world away.
All a busy blur with no cure,
Nothing to learn, nothing to gain
Another day of spinning all the same,
He wonders if he could focus,
Would they let him dream?

Dizzy is he, he sits behind a desk,
Wanted to do something more
But instead he just sits in subtle rest.
He showed off the art
Of all the spinny places he had been
They gave a look and traded his paints for pens.
Dizzy never showed his heart again.

Dizzy, did he, wanted to turn the tables
Sat in silence waiting for tables to turn
Learned a career, then never learned again.
Dizzy stopped spinning
Sitting behind a stationary chair and desk

As his feet moved even faster, and he twirled and whirled and cantered across the stage, it was as if he existed in an indeterminate space - blinded by the footlights, deafened by the orchestra, absorbed in his own rumbustious choreography. Beyond the pit, in the anonymous darkness, the audience rippled and flared appreciatively in response. So he danced on until, with a final rapturous gesture of his outstretched arms, he plunged to earth as dizzy as a snowflake. And waited.

The silence shifted. The soft rumble of engine noise played softly in the background, while the chain-link fence rattled in the squall which blew fresh off the harbour. He opened his eyes and watched the cars crawling across the overbridge above him; the empty basketball court littered with yesterday’s snack papers lay in shadow. In the middle distance, a familiar figure walked briskly towards him.

‘Matthew! Matthew! You come here this secon’ or I’ll whip your **** right off, already.’
‘Yes, Auntie.’
‘What you doin’ tryna waste good time?’
‘Nothin’, Auntie.’
‘Ain’t that the truth, boy.’

As he stooped to gather up his satchel, Matthew saw out of the corner of his eye the concertmaster lower his instrument, incline his head, and begin to tap his music stand with his bow. From the balconies the first of a thousand rose petals began to fall with the evening rain, the applause thundered while the lightning clapped, and there in the gods stood his mother waving and blowing kisses at him, as he followed his aunt down East Street towards home.

‘And those who were seen dancing were thought to be insane by those who could not hear the music.’
- Friedrich Nietzsche
