As I reminisce over you
I lick my dry and cracked lips
Your poison, so sweet
Sharp and pointed fingertips

Mixed and lonely
I'm caged by my own thoughts
Your scars, so perfect
Struggling I've fought

Love is just a masquerade for pain
My beauty hides a beast that has yet to be tamed
But I want you, need you, I'm so lonely
And my desires remain unnamed

My scars are raised in purple
Because I loved the pain
Ever since I met you
It hasn't been the same

Kiss the desolation,
Remove the isolation
Cleanse me of my sins
To yours, let me in

From prison to prison
Though yours seems like heaven
Take me, all of me
Better trapped then dead
Better trapped then dead
Better trapped then dead

Whispers of wind of what had once been there,
Curling through the melody of a lyre.
Sways through trees with the leaves in the air.

A crack in the ground is simply a tear
Where earth, in defeat, has begun to tire.
Whispers of wind of what had once been there.

Searching across a land that will lay bare.
A desolate wasteland where rain is dire.
Sways through trees with the leaves in the air.

A sea that turned to stone and dust. Once there
Were bronze skies, cities of crystal spires,
Whispers of wind of what had once been there.

An endless, beautiful sight. "I once cared".
Swirling image of dust through the empire,
Sways through trees with the leaves in the air.

The world was once fair, a girl had lived there,
With the sight of the world, before the fire.
Whispers of wind of what had once been there,
Sways through trees with the leaves in the air.
abandoned by her mother and father
to take on this cold world alone
no voice left in my throat
to sing the melodies in the song
such a strong girl, yet I break down every night
never forgive you, you let me take on this fight
by myself, without your help
salvation is what I seek
I call your phone one hundred times
leaving voicemails that pled
yet you still don't seem to care
I face my hard times desolate
deserted, this life is hurting
me, myself, and I
why can't I overcome the trials.
just want to be put to sleep
internally in peace

Stumbling on her new feet
A regular fish out of water
Wanting her brain and heart to meet
The former to talk some sense to the latter

Wistful for the melancholy seas
Nostalgic for those left behind
It is on land where uncertainty breaks free
A plaintive wail for those of her kind

Foreign land stretching afar
On pale limbs she has yet to adopt
How crashingly desolate will it be to explore
To make use of this magic she has yet to exploit

A wriggle of her toes
Jaw clenched in determination
She stands by the decision she chose
To search for the source of her affection

He's out there, she'll find him
No matter the stakes
She'll stand on her two feet
And wait as long as it takes

Strutting feathers,
Nose I hold in high contempt of all things,
Look at this preening fool in bad weather,
And find in me a little piece of nothing.

A hole, another null area, a void,
A reciprocal infinity, a tranquillity internally collapsing,
A black space within my darkest face ,
One never acknowledged publicly.

Therein lay the worst thoughts 'never' had,
It is the place where my Nothing hides,
You have one too.
Have you found it yet?
Please read on only when you do,

This Void never really goes away,
And I fed it, in the hope of making it disappear,
Threw at it all that money can buy,
And all that it couldn't,
But at the end came to a realization,
That Everything you do has an effect on this hell hole,
But nothing you do, will ever decrease it,
Your only hope remains in keeping it constant and bearable,

*For this is the meaning of life,
Keeping this Nothing from becoming you.

Wasteland--the people don't belong.
They must leave
so that the singular human
can be in its natural habitat.
Ice doesn't begin to describe
the summertime, the holidays,
spring,
every **** season.

This world is like a cigarette-
The peak of it's existence
Burning bright to moon dead eyes,
Crumbling in after a swift breath.

And somehow
by breaking all the rules with you
        we broke one another
And we're clinging so tightly now
I worry that a part of you fell behind
        and I'm the only one
Who will ever miss it enough to continuously
    Turn around
And see what we really were
Strewn about across this desolate land decorated with ourselves.
