There is sunshine where the clouds once were
There is warmth radiating down
Beaming down to mother Earth
Warming us with her love
Love that was taken
Taken by storms
Storms that raged
Lingered
Gone

Brian Hill - 2019 # 269
Love to write and photograph storms.
This is a Nonet poem.

There is sunshine where clouds once were
There was rain and now there are clear skies
The skies are once again showing us the simplicity
Simplicity of nature is the sophistication of life today

Brian Hill - 2019 # 268
The simplicity in nature is life...

I took the time to know you
You took your time to know me
But you once didn’t exist to me
And neither did I to you

The winds always change
But the skies will always be blue
But if your world turns to grey
Remember,
The clouds will move on soon

The Earth cries in periods
It’s natural for its growth
I wish I could wipe yours tears away
But what is happiness
If you never know to hurt

Reality can be cruel
Reality can be sweet
Reality can mean anything
It’s your life for you to keep

But my reality is you
Wether sweet or sour
We might be in treacherous waters
But I’d rather fight the storms with you
Than live in ignorance of your existence
Because storms pass
And rainbows glow upon the horizon
Life goes up and down
It was never meant to be linear

i
have
longed
to drown
in the vastness
that the world has to
offer; i am waiting patiently, for
the moon to call me, for it to reach for my
hand and pull me towards the sky that i have
longed to touch; i am swimming in the waves of
forgotten promises, of memories that have collected
dust, of unexamined dreams in the heads of children;
oh, if only you knew how much i have longed to press
my palms against the softness of the clouds above
me; for i am just a drop of water in the vast
sea, a speck of dust in the great, big sky,
and i have much to venture.
my first shape poem!

Where painted rivers pick apart
The rocks and earthy soil

Carve bolden paths into meadow lands
With a crashing winding coil

Puddles form
And land deforms
Opportunities rise
And tidings fall

As beneath the growing chaos storm
My mind unwound
How I cannot help but be feel now
When the rain clouds burst on the Texas soil
True story - And the storm held off, thank God

white cotton ball clouds
waltzing along deep blue skies-
ill wind steps on toes

goals are just pitstops
your goals to achieve
are above the clouds
ignore the clouds and go beyond
of the universe, don't stop at your goals

Punching the numbers
I get the feeling of being lost
In the sequence of the memories
I feel my feet touch the ground
So when I open my bag
There is emotional side of me
Flickering in the dark.

Down in the pitch black
I look for the tiny spark
In the stories of old age
I look forward to happy times
And then I pull up myself
Found that I can stand
for a while more for a start.

The dark clouds clear and move
The sun makes the way
When mountains stand in path
From a valley it shines
And I know in truth
Darkness guides to
The road of eternal light
When no other lamps make you sway

on soft clouds i walk away
so many days we were lovers

feel time pass now with my heartbeat
as we wander far apart

kissed by angels when i'm sleeping
or is your sweet soul touching mine

this vaunted world is just a nonsense
without your memory in my mind

in dark night dear past the moonbeams
i will ever see our favourite star

but in this moment my spirit aching
i'm slowly marching off to war

Time seems to only fly
when you
don't want it to,
right?
Sometimes our days drag on
and on like passing clouds-
other days, like shooting stars-
blink and you'll miss it.
