Bipolar Hypocrite,
First, let me just say,
Everytime I see your *name

It brightens my day
I've read a *LOT
of your poetry
I can't say I've read them all
But I Will get to them eventually
My amount of *free
time is small
I'm sorry I don't have the time
To write a long drawn out essay
About how your poetry really speaks to me
But to you, I will simply say:

I'm sorry for the sadness you've felt
I truly know how hard life can be
But I'm so glad you found an outlet in writing
And that you continue to share your poetry
I thank you for that, all your comments on mine as well
Please, remember that you've touched at least one girl
I'll be here if you'd ever like to chat or vent
I can also promise, you WILL
find your happiness in this world

I'm so glad you've found a place here on Hello Poetry
Never Forget you're amazing
And that you have made an impression on me.

PS. I know how you love my italics and bold, I figured to use them, hope it's not getting old. :)

Lots Of Love,
*Melz
This is for the #dearblankchallenge posted by Ember Evanescent. I encourage you all to find a poet you don't really know and give them the gift of an encouraging word and your poetry.
Thank You!
Also, please read and follow "Bipolar Hypocrite", she's amazing. ❤

Walking along an
Autumn afternoon
in New York
where in New York
somewhere upstate
somewhere downstate
somewhere leaves fall
in front of where
I approach
but land as a crash
like a stray piece
from construction
high above.

An afternoon
where dreams
of new
where visions
of more
than just a few
begin to fade
to black
as the sun’s
signature upon my
eyes
recluses from
the greyer skies.

Now lost in New York
I attempt to recover
and sojourn forth
from where I had
been to somewhere
somewhere different
somewhere inspiring
somewhere that brings
out the best
of not just a few
but all the rest
who wish
who dream
who ignite
like fire
as the presence
of Autumn’s
dimming light
truly and finally
does expire.

I'm a little flower.
I am as delicate as the petals of a flower.
Tear me,
And you'll never be able to repair me.

Step on me,
You just lost a breathe of your life.

Rip me from my roots,
I'll die within seconds.

Spit on me,
Thanks for that one more drop of rain.

Make fun of me,
Look who's talking.

Little flower.
Bold heart.

One thing I know,
Is that if you cross the line,
I won't be that little pretty flower you knew.
I don't know. I didn't mean the look who's talking part mean. I just... Couldn't come up with anything else. Oh and who talks about flowers without talking about potatoes! Join the potato league #jointhepotatoleague and become an official potato!

I think
people who
end up being
comfortably alone
are
the only people
who realized
the saying
“You are more of a threat to yourself then anyone else.”
was a complete lie
they end up
eating
sleeping
living
alone
they end up
thinking that
every human
they come into counter with
will hurt them further
they end up
seeing themselves
as
their
own
savior

H,

I think we’re at war right now.
I’m not really sure —
we never were too good at clear conversation —
but I think we’re at war.

And it’s not that I want to do this,
but I’ve sent out the first wave of attacks.

They should arrive tonight, around 11.

I’m sorry.

You just love too much.
I can’t sleep,
I can’t think,
I can’t do my job;
I had to do something.

Please don’t think I wanted this.
Please.

I know you don’t mean to do it.

But I need this.
He needs this.
And after all,
that’s what we both want right?
For him to be happy?

It’s the only way.

And who knows,
maybe you’ll win this one.
You always were a fighter.

Maybe this letter will reach you before they do.
Maybe you’ll come out on top.
And if you do, just promise me one thing.

Take care of him.
Make sure he doesn’t do anything I wouldn’t do.

Try not to break him, the way she breaks you.

With love,
B.
rain
You have been through so much
Wounded and bruised on all sides
Standing at the edge of this cliff;
Feet slipping with disturbing thoughts
The world is a narrow path, dotted
With uncertainties and cruelty
A terrain, victory so unpredictable
Coup de grace may seem the only option
You, you have the warriors ethos in you
Shield thy heart from the volcanic ramblings
Forlorn hope, in frontal attack, come what may;
Conquering your personal demons and fears
You win, from the inside out!

Press on ye soldier of life. Life may seem so complex at times. Don't dust off or throw in the towel. Lift your head above the storms and stay positive. Troubles do not last forever...as a matter of fact, things change and takes on new meaning. This too shall pass, as you hold on to your inner convictions and persuasion of hope. Stay strong, my friend!!

"Your father he's...."
an ache in her heart caused a shake in her voice
" Your father is Dead--
I know how you feel."
my heart stopped for only a moment, it froze.
A moment of calm before I felt like it was
beating
pounding
against the ribs that caged it within.

"I.. This is impossible." Does she know anything about my mother?
I did not know her
not her name
not her eyes
not her lips
but I felt her spirit
and she was mine

"And your mother is fine." The girl said
I could sense more news on her breath, my chest tightened"
The news felt as if a new spirit, a seed was planted.
I watched her turn away and fade into the distance

She stopped, and thought, started breaking back toward me in her thoughts. And said" By the way, your mother will bear another child."...

From the time I arrived-
             I realized
That although the world around me hadn't changed
I could see things differently

From Math to challenges everyone else can't face on their own
I travel my own path, headstrong into the wind
*I look back to the past, scared of what I have been through

I let the strength that resides in my soul take hold of my heart,
and I continue on."

Someone else comes into bloom
blossoming bold and brilliant
Running straight toward me, as if that bloom had known me
belonged to me, and was mine
As I watched her dart towards me, I knew there was urgent news to be said
whistling whispers in my ear, I listened...
