One man stands alone,
Two walk together.
Three men are good friends,
Four stay forever.

One girl cries alone,
Two fight together.
Three girls make more friends,
Four talk forever.

From your darkest nightmare,
To your sweetest dreams.
I'm always nearby,
To tear you at your seems.

Wether it be a midnight stroll,
Or a walk down memory lane.
The untold thoughts in wich you avoid,
Gives me existence in this plane.

From eight legged fiends,
To slithering serpents.
Or the disturbing being,
Behind the curtains.

Look out!
My inner demon is free!
And he play's skyrim,
So hide your knees.
Twang twang twang! Town guards. Hehehehe.

Humans get really crazy,
When they are are the polar opposite of lazy.
Climbing up a mountain, jumping from the sky,
This is a completely different kind of high.

Bungie jumping, shark diving,
Any activity that ends in dieing.
They go out of the box, while sane people stay in,
To get that dose of adrenaline.

limbs heavy, eyes empty,
I lay to rest at night.
when day comes, I'll sit and wait,
to see angels take flight.

they fly on past, wind in their wings,
while I am chained to the ground.
they feel my stare, and see me here,
only pity to be found.

one came down, and erased my frown,
and told me her name was heather.
we talked all day, but she could not stay,
but left behind a feather.

now every night, with a glow of light,
I look at the feather only I can see.
and in my dream, she is by the stream,
my friend is waiting for me.

This is a poem from a high school student to the high school teachers,
And those I'm referring to better know who they are.

To the school teachers who think there cheerleaders,
Grow the hell up.

To the teachers who think being our friend is more important than teaching a lesson,
Grow the hell up.

To the over obsessive fools who rearrange the school constantly,
Wisen the hell up.

To the ******* who spends more than 75% of our budget on sports,
Wisen the hell up.

To the the teachers who force students to act like their children,
Get a ******* life.

To the fools who spend their time on Instagram and Twitter to much,
Get a ******* life.

To the schools that don't know their priorities,
Get your *** in gear.

To the teachers who still are kids, for the last time
GROW THE HELL UP.

We are a nation so drunk on the pride of our past,
We have forgotten to maintain that pride today.
We turn a blind eye to the opportunities before us,
Believing we are the best we can possibly be.

We are wrong.

You say I'm lazy, and that I'm ruining my life,
You want someone better, it's causing internal strife.
When you see the score on my head dropping,
To the execution, my head will be lopping.

That score on your head is everything,
Without it their blows aren't soft.
And to all that see me as a trophy,
I tell you now, *******!

I am a strong,independent person,
Despite what you think.
I'll do my best, just like the rest,
And I don't care if I sink.

I'll do it my own way,
So get the hell off my back.
There is nothing you can say,
To "put me back on track"

A proof of life,
Is the pain I feel.
A proof of life,
Are the forces that make me kneel.

A proof of life,
Is the blood I bleed.
A proof of life,
Is the heart I need.

A proof of life,
In the eyes I see.
A proof of life,
Is inside of me.

When summers wind blows away winters frozen fingers,
Away, away I fly.
Back to my home where my life began,
Away, away I fly.
All the while my heart pangs for you,
Away, away I fly.
I look forward to coming back home to you,
As away, away I fly
A letter to my love, letting her know even while I'm gone I'll always be here for her. I love you kitten

Put all your eggs in one basket,
You should count your chickens before they hatch.
You should cut off your arm in a public display,
And announce "Tis' but a scratch"!

Put your hand in boiling hot water,
Wash your car on a rainy day.
Think you could stop a boat with only your foot,
Put your fist in your mouth, don't delay!
do not listen to poem.

Stories in a box,
Spells in each sentence.
Heroes who need adventure,
Villains who need repentance.

Tales from long ago,
Myths from the past.
Trouble in far off future,
When computers rule is vast.

People who've never been,
Worlds you wish would happen.
So many tales to be told,
Your minds about to snappen.

Last night,
I went to sleep.
And drifted to a land,
Where shadowed memories creep.

Broken thoughts,
Drift around.
They float through the shadows,
Without a sound.

It makes me sad,
For those I've forgotten.
For only their voices,
Remain not rotten.

As I grow older,
My memories decay.
Until the me of old,
Will someday fade away.

In this place,
Of broken dreams.
I see my past,
Leak out of my seams.

at this time,
I mourn my age.
Thinking back to the time,
When I thought being a kid was my cage.
Johnathan locke May 2015
I value my strengths,
And I accept my weaknesses.
I don't hide my flaws,
And proving it to you isn't one of my businesses.

I accept I cannot,
Change who I am.
For hiding who I am,
Would be a great sham.

You see what you get,
You get what you see.
If you wanted more,
Poor you, you got me.
Johnathan locke May 2015
I build and construct,
While all around me destroy and destruct.
I make and create,
Just to see it fall to pieces, I am irate.

Disappointed I still build more,
Just to open up old sores.
For all I give birth,
Shall be taken by the earth.
Which I build will never remain.
Johnathan locke May 2015
You can chain me to the ground,
You can cut me over and over.
You can take away all hope,
But this will get you nowhere.

You can take away my stuff,
But you will never hurt me.
You take away my freedom,
But that will never cage me.

You can glare all you want,
I will not care.
You can destroy all I have,
But it will not even scare.

You say I'm ruining my life,
But I know the truth.
You just want the score on my head,
To  reperfect your youth.

I do not fallow orders,
Unless you have my respect.
If you put yourself against me,
A struggle you will expect.

When I put my mind to it,
I'm as stubborn as a mule.
And when you put up a fight,
To the fire, you add more fuel.

Or a board that is a croakin'?
Have a problem with a broken leg,
Or a talkative friend named Greg?

I have a solution to all your problems,
Using this will surely solve them!
No mater the problem's size or shape,
You can fix it with a little bit of duct tape!

Rage in the form of an icy flame,
Sorrow flowing in burning tears.
Love in the shape of a impenetrable shield,
Abandonment in the blackest void.
A warm light shines happiness,
A dreary rain pours depression.
A winding tornado of confusion,
A still pool of serenity.

What happens to forever?
Is it one great lie?
Does the pledge to love for eternity,
End when you die?

When does forever end?
When you gaze apon the truth?
If you look up far enough,
Can you see heavens roof?

I know where forever ends.
It's a line that shall not waver.
The answer is rather clear,
Forever ends at never.

Why so furious?
I was only having a little fun.

Gentlemen, gentlemen,
Let's be civilized men.
Why don't you put down that gun?

A guardian angel protects those who they love,
Putting them in a golden cage like a dove.
Feeding them with love and care,
Keeping them away from a world that's unfair.
But even our doves long to fly,
To stretch their wing in the blue sky.

Some of the best dreams in my head,
Are the ones in which I'm dead.
A better world in which I'm gone,
A change in history it has swung.

For only in my head,
Can I be dead.
My tears have been bled,
And the truth is finally said.

For in this world,
It is flawed.
And in my mind,
My logic is flawed.

But the most amazing thing, a glorious thing,
Is when I forget myself.
Freed from my cage of flesh,
Can I finally be myself.

There was once a girl,
All alone in this world.
Ignored, unseen,
In her head, a lonely swirl.

As she grew, her beauty to,
All around her suddenly turned nice.
The boys where endless, all looking for her hand,
But her heart was of ice.

She met with all,
But fell for none.
Because in the past,
They had only offered shun.

Then he came,
A strange traveler in town.
She expected him to be like the rest,
But he barely noticed before he left.

Used to a life,
Of ignoring all around,
She did not like it,
When the table is turned around.

She waited for him to return.
And he came.
Two moons later,
Walking in the rain.

She watched him wander,
From place to place.
She saw him give up,
His energy a waste.

He sat down,
Under a tree.
With no end to the rain.
He went to sleep.

As he woke, he stretched his back.
The rain had dissipated.
He glanced around, and to his surprise,
He saw the girl had waited.

He got to his feet, waved goodbye,
And started to hit the road.
Looking back, he had no idea,
of the seeds he had just sowed.

At mid day, he stopped to eat,
At a dinner that was close by.
There he met the girl again,
Whom ha had said goodbye.

She asked where he was going, he said "I don't know"
"I go were the wind takes me".
She tells him he is different.
"You haven't tried to woo me".

He laughed, a merry man,
"I have no reason why.
No one ever cared about me,
So why should I even try?"

Then she saw, just like her,
He was always alone.
But unlike the ice, in her heart,
there was a fire in his.

She says "why do you travel?
Don't you ever go back home?"
He said, with sad eyes,
"My home is were I roam"

It struck her than,
That he had nothing.
So she said with open arms,
"than I shall be your home, darling"

From then forward, he often went home,
To were the girl like him would stand.
As her heart began to thaw,
Their love had just began.
finished the poem as promised. I hope you like it. This is my first romance poem.

You, who ignores his own kids.
You, who exudes hate like the sun gives out light.
You, their father, you who has made that title empty.
You, you who don't give us the respect and love we deserve,
You who violently ignore the fact that you have lost ours,
You who was once someone worth a damb,
Who is now nothing more than a fat pig.
You who has closed his eyes, ears, and heart to your entire family.
You who wouldn't even care, not even at my funeral.
You who abandoned me.
You, who finally deserves the title of my father.
Like my first father, the one who created me,
You don't care for me or my kin, we are invisible in your eyes.
You like my second father, who hates me and would love for me to stop existing.
You, who now inherits the accursed title,
You, my father.

And Trump is openly copying him,
How long until we start calling the president the furor,
Take on the title of forth *****,
And invade Poland- I mean Mexico?
Am I the only one here who is waiting for the resistance to spring out of nowhere and put a stop to this?

What does it mean to be human?
Does it mean you can die?
Does it mean you can be hurt,
When a loved one says goodbye?

Why do we like,
Our mortal flesh?
Logic dictates,
It doesn't mesh.

In our bodies,
We get hurt, we bleed.
Our bodies fail us,
In our time of need.

The answer is hard,
And often forgot.
In our quest for reasons,
This answer is the one that is sought.

Its because we can laugh,
Its because we can cry.
Because it doesn't end,
When we say goodbye.

Its because were content to live,
In our lives drowned in pain.
Because as long as we can love,
We will stay on this crazy train.

I am allergic to idiots.
When their around I get mad.
When I get mad,
I'm scary just a tad.

The sky is blue!
How do I tie my shoe?
How to stay silent,
I have no clue.

Oh, how so frustrating!
Why do they have to try to be annoying?
Stupid questions, left and right,
With my patience, they are toying.

Just give up
What you seek you will not find
For you have made a mistake
My dear friend of mine

Put it in my room
And that will be the last of it you see
For I have a little brother
Living here with me.

God ******* Damb it
I want my stuff back
You don't know what happened
Ha, what brains do you think I lack?

I am the shadow of the moon at night,
Creeping along out of sight.
I am the  eyes starring at the back of your head,
The sweat on your back and the breeze in your hair.

I am the rustle of the leaves on the left,
Smelling the weight of the fear you heft.
I am the  ominous feeling in the air,
Watching you walk right into my lair.

I am here when I'm gone,
For my presence lingers long.
During the day I disappear,
Come back at night if you dare.

You would not believe your eyes
If ten million bombers fly
Lit up the world as I fell asleep
'Cause they'd fill the open air
And leave craters everywhere
You'd think me mad
But I would just stand and stare

I'd like to make myself believe
That planet Earth burns slowly
It's hard to say that I'd rather stay awake when I'm asleep
'Cause everything is as crazy as it seems

'Cause I'd get a thousand hugs
From ten thousand lightning bolts
As they tried to teach me how to talk
A foxtrot above my head
An assassin beneath my bed
The dying world is just hanging by a thread
(Thread, thread...)

I'd like to make myself believe
That planet Earth burns slowly
It's hard to say that I'd rather stay awake when I'm asleep
'Cause everything is as stupid as it seems
(When I fall asleep)

Leave my door open just a crack
(Please take me away from here)
'Cause I feel like such a paranoid maniac
(Please take me away from here)
Why don't I tire from killing peeps
(Please take me away from here)
When I'm far too happy to fall asleep
(Ha-ha)

To ten million souls that died
I'm weird 'cause I hate goodbyes
I got misty eyes as they screamed in hatred
(screamed in hatred)
But I'll know where several are
If my life get real bizarre
'Cause I saved a few and I keep them in a jar
(Jar, jar, jar...)

I'd like to make myself believe
That planet Earth burns slowly
It's hard to say that I'd rather stay awake when I'm asleep
'Cause everything is as bad as it seems
(When I fall asleep)

I'd like to make myself believe
That planet Earth burns slowly
It's hard to say that I'd rather stay awake when I'm asleep
Because my home is bursting in the streets
If someone can sing this, you have my support.

***** are the source of all problems, so lets get rid of them. Oh, al Capone? Oops.
The world is to violent, so lets bomb a bunch of people and liberate some more countries into our control.
Those animals are going extinct, so lets keep buying their tusks and arrest those that **** em' for us.
Eating way to much of the wrong food makes you fat, so lets only eat one snack sized meal a day. that's perfectly healthy.

Remember the fallen,
For those who they are.
If you change their story a little,
On their past you leave a scar.

The reasons they died fighting,
Why they did what the did.
The reason they taught those important lessons,
To your ancestors to their kids.

Why they brought people together,
And tore countries apart.
Created devices to keep us going,
And weapons to stop your heart.

The past is in the past,
And we'll never get all the facts.
But without knowing what happened last,
History will repeat its past.

Quenching the fire of my will.
My emotions inside are a turmoil lake,

Americas favorite thing is sports,
We call our smartest people dorks,
You get paid more to throw a ball,
Than you are to work at all.
Our economy is a failing state,
And what makes me really irate,
Is we spend all our money on sports.

When a flower blooms in the sun,
It will grow with beauty and joy,
Living a short and merry life.
But when a flower blooms in the dark,
It grows in a twisted and tormented shape,
It's pain and anger digging its roots deep,
And it's life will last ages.
Our children are our flowers,
And we must bring them the sun.
Even though my sun was abandoned for another blossom,
I still remember its loving energy.
I have a new sun now,
Brighter and warmer than my last.
I'm still in the dark,
But the light beacons me with the approaching day.
Soon it's my turn to bring the light on my own garden,
But first I must weather the night.

Have you ever had a nightmare that wasn't scary, but still left you scared?
Have you ever had a dream where instead of waking in a cold sweat from fear, cold tears rain from your eyes?
Have you ever watched your siblings killed, one by one, and be completely helpless as the monster finishes you off last?
Have you ever dreamt about someone you have known your entire life, someone that was so close to your heart you would shatter if they disappeared, then wake up and realize that person didn't exist, but you still remember the love you had for them?
Have you ever felt the life drain from your limbs as you crumple to the ground, the shock of death just barely creeping into your heart before you wake up?
Have ever held a baby boy in your hands, knowing full well that is was dying? Have you held your own son, trying to convince yourself that your heartbeat was his, and those breaths you heard coming out of you were of his doing?
I have. By dreams I know what it means to die, but I also know that the death of those I've seen around me hurt way more than my own. I cherish them because of this, and I would rather take their fate instead than have any of these dreams come true. This is my oath. I refuse to lose them again.
