Love
I'm lost without it
Bogged down
Across the mountains
I could turn my longings high
And offer up the angels cry
But if I do not have charity
My cymbals crash in rude cacophony

Love
I could donate my very body
In glad service for my brothers
In willing service for my country
I could be swallowed by flames
Give my clothes and all my gains
And if love is not my aim
Work is void and intention vain

Love
Ever balanced with truth
In all our dealings
As our proof
Hating sin
Hating deception
Rightly serving
Until we breach the gates of heaven

Love
You show
And love You gave
To those born of the grave
Upon a cross
Your very life
Through blood and faith
We're declared right

Love
None can mention greater
Than which is offered
By our loving Lord and Savior
Pierced and whipped
Sweat and spit
For the Church His side was split
Enthroned in heaven He now sits

Love
He is
Pure love
He gives
My ransom paid
My heart reshaped
Through His blood I do draw near
And through His love I'm freed of fear

There is a place where mercy flows
A place where an eternal garden grows
There is a land of love and truth
Where the lame walk and the old become as youth

You are the River of Life
A stream that flows down from on high
Washed by the love that comes from above
Eternal spring from the father

Come dance in the meadows
Come sing to the wind
Come shout from the mountains
And laugh joyously

Come to the place of forgiveness and grace
Come to the place of healing and rest
Come feel the warmth of a tender embrace
Come to be healed and come to be blessed

You are the River of Life
A stream that flows down from on high
Washed by the love that comes from above
Eternal spring from the father

Love one another clothed now in Christ
Morning draws near to cast out the night
Things done in secret no longer can hide
Thorns in his brow and spear in his side
Love beyond measure, peace like a flood
Washed white as snow by his precious blood

Love your neighbor as yourself showing kindness to all
Work together in unity lest we may fall
Wrap yourself with truth and justice put on peace and grace
With wisdom and understanding we might know and see his face
The Word is our sword and faith is our shield
On our knees we steel ourselves on the holy battlefield

Clothed now in Christ we look to the sky
And together, with one voice, we cry
Lord, banish the darkness and show us the way
The sun is rising bringing forth a new day
The war is over Jesus has won
But here once again the battle’s just begun
Adapted from Romans 13:8-14 and Ephesians 6:10-18
Can you really expect to cope,
if you’re not connected to Hope?

Faith in Christ is a requisite;
let’s not be… overly delicate

in discussing this matter today;
He alone is the Life, Truth and Way!

Our need for a real relationship
with Him, pushes us towards kinship;

after all, we’re to be joint-heirs
and strive to be spiritually aware

of our Heavenly responsibilities!
It’s time to grow up, mature and see

the plan and purpose God has for us.
With our identity in Christ Jesus,

we find Life’s meaning and its scope,
seeing that we’re… connected to Hope.

Unlike Moses, we should live…
with unveiled faces, letting
the Light of our Faith shine;
as His Children, we’re getting

favor among men; with clear eyes,
smiles and a bright disposition,
our efforts will be pleasing unto
The Lord, as we honor His position

as King of kings; He divinely rules
and reigns in our lives and hearts.
His holy promises remain steadfast
and His Holy Spirit will never depart

from us; as His human candles, our
unveiled faces pierce the darkness,
wherever our journey takes us; therefore,
let us shine… with His righteousness.

One of the many secrets,
for facing Life’s adversity
is a change of perspective;
adjusting the lens, we see

things from a Heavenly view-
whereby old problems are seen
as new opportunities, teeming
brightly, unsullied by routines

of dull, antiquated thinking.
Address all challenges head on,
without any semblance of fear;
employing some spiritual brawn

ensures that final solutions
can be found and implemented;
real satisfaction comes, when
by God, you’re complimented.
Inspired by:
Eph 1:18; Matt 25:21  and

"It is one thing to face adversity but it is totally another thing to turn our adversity in to an eternal opportunity to become who God has planned us to be in Christ Jesus through it all. God never takes us through a tunnel that doesn't have a exit, so the one most important thing we have to do through the ordeal we face is to look in to the face of the Lord and trust Him that He will bring us out at the right time. Remember, that those who look in to God's face will become bright and rest in Him like as a baby, because they will understand that it is for their eternal good that God has taken them through such temporal tunnel experiences that bring eternal dividend. You can never learn to trust God more and more deeply, unless you pass through the dark tunnel experiences of life! So let go of yourself and let God take control."

You climbed the hill in agonising pain
Laden with all our sin and shame

You took all our broken, battered pieces
Our shattered, broken hearts released

A crown of thorns placed upon Your forehead
Drop by drop, Your robes stained blood red

The clothes of God as Man in two were torn
By sinners, for them lots were drawn

And You, oh God, our sacrificial lamb
Gave up your life for wretched Man

A wooden sign they nailed upon Your cross
To show the world how you had lost

And then You cried out in love unbending
Thus Your life on earth was ending

There's no power of hell to keep you down
Devil can't keep you from your crown

You rose to show You are not defeated
Kingdom come will be completed.

When we love something or someone
we find power to notice them.

love is the foundation of power
power is the driving force, love is the fuel

In this Gods love is the power that keeps all things
and by this love created the universe
through this love became flesh to be the atonement for all things
and in this love conquered death to be the atonement of all things

One day every knee

Shall
bow before the glory of Jesus on the throne

When your joy
    Enters my heart
I know not what to do
In tears do you cleanse my soul
When you oh Lord
Do call my name how I need you
Release me from my flesh
    Take me from my shame
On Calvary did you die
     From death did you rise
My Lord my God
     You are my prize
In the battle fought
     In the victory won
For my sins you atone
     Jesus I am yours alone
Oh Lord do bring your children home!

in thought of me
you took my fall
time and time again

know me now
you hear my plea
carry me through

listen to my soul
break my heart
build me up

in your love
is my fire kindled
in your love
is where my desire is set aflame

I AM, it is you that died for me
one death, one resurrection
one return, one judge

One Truth
Then Jesus declared, “I am the bread of life. He who comes to me will never go hungry, and he who believes in me will never be thirsty. (John 6:35)

When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.” (John 8:12)

I am the gate; whoever enters through me will be saved. He will come in and go out, and find pasture. (John 10:9)

“I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep.” (John 10:11)

Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me will live, even though he dies; and whoever lives and believes in me will never die.” (John 11:25-26)

Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” (John 14:6)

“I am the vine; you are the branches. If a man remains in me and I in him, he will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.” (John 15:5)

Broken
I do not know what tomorrow holds
But I do know Him who holds tomorrow
Therefore I lay aside all anxieties
Every fear and sorrow
Because though they neither sow nor reap
God provides for the sparrow
And I don't have to worry about missing the mark
Because I'm not the archer I'm just the arrow
I'm just the instrument that God chooses to use
As He masterfully conducts His heavenly tune
Therefore satans guilt cannot consume me
And absolutely no credit is ever due me
Because it was He who decided to choose me and use me for His glory
All I have to do is follow He who gave His everything
To see my sin washed clean
Because the sentence that once read "Guilty"
Now reads "Set Free"
So please never address me as the Bruce Lee of poetry
I'm  not the shepherd i'm just a sheep
And if I don't point back in everything to Him who leads me
My words are empty and mean nothing
Therefore I do not preach my own power but that of the cross
I lay down my life, count all as loss
I can simply be the broken warrior that I am
His hands hold this world
And his love scarred those hands
I never have to worry about my performance or plans
I know Him who holds tomorrow
By faith in Him alone I stand

Pull me beneath
Your waves
my pride fights
to keep my mouth above
Your loving breakers
Fights to fill my lungs with the poison air
inflates what ought to sink away
Sweep over me
and I will drown
*so sweetly
God's grace is boundless like an ocean, and our ego is the **** which keeps us from the waves of a wild and abundant life

Vile a sinner as I
The hearing and my trial
Alone I am condemned

I killed a man
I sent him to his death
I shouted a shout to end his life

Buried him in dirt
Sealed him in a tomb
Wounded for my name

It is my sin to blame

In that hole is the way
In that grave is the truth
Buried is the life eternal

Champion of death
Victory in the grave
This man is my only hope

The power within him
Indescribable life to win
The way the truth the life

In Him is life eternal
From the grave he bore life eternal
Ressurected he gives life eternal

His name is YHWY
His name is EL Shaddai
His name is Jesus Christ my Lord and Savior

Convicted in my place
Crucified for my shame
Guilty as charged was I
Thank you Jesus for your way
