he was arrogance
lightning wrote his name
in the black spring sky
thunder spelled it aloud
under wakeful eyes
frost splintered the ground
in brilliant white

later
a little rain fell
in a field of cornflower blue
and muddied the quiet path through
the world no longer ice-kissed,
the season flowered unforgiving
then
he was melancholy
night is an angel and spring is a monster.

Words are less expressive than the boldness of our actions
But words are instant medicine to the pains in our souls
And people may seem hollow
And their vocabulary may be short
But we were not sent to judge
To feed from our vanity
We are here for joy and peace
We are here to find love within

And ever since I last
Saw you passin' by,

I know,

One day I'll die with you
In my mind.
I cannot think about any other way
this could end up,
love.

"Monstrous men perceive monstrosities the monsters they seem to be."

Open this chest of mine
With this steel key of yours
Reveal my essence - it shines,
Look through my opened surface.
What you perceive as I am, is what defines
You.
The depths of mine
Which you think you have in your sight,
Is just a conjecture of your petty wit,
Representing your own shallow depths.

The secrets within me,
Are not understandable.
No matter how exposed
They become to the world.
George Krokos Sep 2016
God really cannot ever be either bought or sold
but is found in the heart where love does unfold.
If we look within ourselves and behold The Light
know it's a sign of His Grace and a blessed sight.

A thousand lies, don't deny it
A million screams taunting inside
The impulses of blood shed
The feeling of total dread
Fake smiles I give,
real tears you let live

Oh, the consuming of pain
The suffering leaves nothing to gain
Poison reacts; sins slash
Fading affection is grasping all tension

My heart beats and we are in defeat
I am faithless, yet oddly not defenseless.
Why should I crawl?
**** it, I don't wanna fall!

Please don't leave me here.
Is this freakin' prison?
Oh please-just listen.

A thousand lies, a million screams
I hope you can go it alone
Since there is no home
Forever broken, so they might die.
Why,
should we all lie?
I personally don't really like this poem, it is a old piece of mine. A song that's been re-written from 2009-2011. I also have a tune made to this piece.

From the thorns come forth a beautiful rose,
From chaos comes forth a luminous star,
The gloomy rain is the cause for rainbows,
And Ibrahim came forth out of Azar.

She rose from deep within,
Like a phoenix out from the ashes,
Body covered with streaks of wounds,
New and aged with no discrimination.

She sprung life out of none,
Defying of what nature set the rules upon,
She made it a daily routine,
But none should know herself within.

Alone in her nest,
Of where she came,
Her seated heart rests in a battered ribs,
Like a dying bird with a rusted cage.

When we speak the truth,
It comes from our bones.
As they knew the truth  long
Before we did. Long before
Our ancestors did.
Our bones saw the beginning
Child, they know what is to come
At the end. They have seen and
Felt war and have sheltered and
Cultured peace. They have known
The universes secrets and have been
The sun, moon and all the stars.
They have fallen in love with men,
They have fallen in love with women.
They have known bone shattering love.
They've felt scarring pain.
They know what it is to live child.
 Listen to the bones child.
Listen to your bones
A little something that my grandmother used to say.

What lied within your lips,
I could not read it.
What lied within your hips,
I could never treat it.
What lied within your love,
I could not sense it.
What lied within your eyes,
I could never see it.
What lied within your heart,
I could not beat it.
